Abstract: Disclosed herein is a detachable coupling apparatus for a midsection of a separable bottle. The apparatus is configured such that upper and lower locking portions of a bottle are detachably coupled to each other by rotating upper and lower bodies in opposite directions, the upper and lower locking portions being inclined in a coupling direction. The present invention ensures the easy coupling for the midsection of the bottle in a single operation, and prevents unexpected separation of the bottle particularly when in the coupled state, thus continuously maintaining excellent watertight performance and stability.

Abstract: A Dutch oven with an improved handle assembly is provided. The assembly may include a handle configured to removably engage a receiver on the lid of the Dutch oven. The handle may be used to transport a Dutch oven to a heating source and, once placed in the heating source, removed and stored so that the handle is not subject to heat while the Dutch oven is used for cooking. To remove the Dutch oven from the heating source, the handle may be reinserted into the receiver and used to lift the Dutch oven from the heating source. The Dutch oven may also include one or more retaining members to securely hold the Dutch oven's lid in place.

Abstract: A surgical instrument container assembly includes a container and a handle assembly. The handle assembly includes at least one wire handle pivotally coupled with the container. A handle grip has a longitudinally extending opening. A portion of the wire handle is positioned radially within the opening. The handle grip has an outer surface with an elliptical cross sectional shape, and a plurality of laterally spaced and longitudinally extending ribs on the outer surface. The handle grip is preferably formed of an elastomeric material.

Abstract: A packaging device forming a container, comprising a formable rigid structural element (6) joined to a sheet of flexible material (3) provided at the periphery with means for retaining a clamping tie (4). The rigid structural element (6) has a first part (5) which comprises a multiplicity of radial branches (50), which are made of flexible material, and a second part (7) made of rigid material, which has at its periphery radial arms (71), which are designed to define the shape and the volume of the container and which each have an end part which diverges from the plane of a central planar part (70) by flaring. The first and second parts (5, 7) are provided with means (53) for securing to one another such that they are coaxial with one another and such that the branches (50) are in line with the arms (71); while at one of the faces the flexible sheet (3) is secured to the first part (5) by its face opposite the face intended to accommodate the second part (7).

Abstract: A drink vessel holder holds a drink vessel on a target surface such as a plate of food and allows the user to hold both the plate and the drink vessel held thereon with the same hand in order to allow the other hand to be used for enjoyment of the products being held. The drink vessel holder has a body member with a convex upper surface that seats within a concave bottom surface of a drink vessel. A tab extends outwardly from the body member, the tab being used by the user to hold the drink vessel on the plate. The tab may have an arcuate channel that receives a portion of the bottom structural ring of the drink vessel or the structural ring may be depressed or slotted for passage of the tab therethrough.

Abstract: A disposable child's drinking cup has a lid with a drinking spout defining multiple open holes sized to resist leakage in the absence of suction, such as by the development of surface tension at the holes, and to allow flow when suction is applied. The holes are formed during molding of the lid. An inner contour of a groove of the lid and an outer contour of the cup body rim are selected to provide a slight snap fit of the lid onto the cup body, to provide a secure seal.

The stopper (10) includes a main body (18), a lid (22), and a rigid lanyard loop (16). The main body (18) is configured for releasable engagement with the opening (14) of beverage container (12) and includes a drinking port (24) to allow a beverage to flow from the beverage container (12) to the mouth of a user. The lid (22) has an upper surface (26) and is hinge mounted to the main body (18) for movement between a closed position wherein the drinking port (24) is covered and an open position wherein the drinking port (24) is exposed for access by a user. The rigid lanyard loop (16) is hinge mounted for movement relative to the lid (22) between an stowed position wherein the lanyard loop (16) extends adjacent the upper surface (26) of the lid (22) and a deployed position wherein the lanyard loop (16) extends away from the upper surface (26) with the lid (22) in the closed position.

Abstract: The protective case includes a back cover (2) and a cover (3), which are provided to fit together. The case further includes a flange (6), inserted in the back cover and held laterally by the edge (4), and an elastically deformable stake (7), which is for immobilizing a plate-shaped part pierced with an aperture (11). The stake is mounted on the top surface of the flange and it is inserted into the aperture of the plate-shaped part. The bottom surface of the cover (3) further carries a projecting portion (8) that presses against the stake when the case is closed, so as to increase the external diameter of the stake and jam it in the aperture of the plate-shaped part. Elastic means (9) are also provided for returning the flange (6) in the direction of the cover (3) so as to hold the stake (7) jammed in the aperture in the plate-shaped part.

Abstract: In one aspect, the present invention provides a foldable food tray that includes first and second panels, each having upper and lower surfaces and inner, outer, and side edges. Each panel can also include one or more hinge members and one or more locking members. The hinge member(s) can be operatively coupled to one another to permit the first and second panels to move between a closed position and an open position. The locking member(s) can be configured to releasably lock the first and second panels in the open position, thereby preventing the first and second panels from inadvertently moving from the open position.

Abstract: An egg caddy system for holding eggs in an immobilized position featuring a base with a plurality of egg protrusions disposed in the top surface. The egg protrusions may be arranged in a linear fashion or in parallel sections or groups. A flange extends downwardly and perpendicularly from the bottom surface of the base and forms a T-shaped cross-section. The flange can be inserted between two surfaces such as countertops, sinks, and stoves.

Abstract: A method of merchandising a modular home storage container system includes providing a plurality of individual groups of containers adapted for use on standardized shelving. Each container has side walls extending upwardly from a bottom wall to an open top and a removable lid. The containers, in each group, have a uniform length which correlates with one of the shelving depths, a uniform width to provide a uniform footprint size to accommodate the use of a single size lid and a plurality of different heights to allow a consumer to optimize the use of the available shelf height space. The heights of the containers are graduated so that the overall height of two stacked shorter containers will approximate the height of a taller container. Preferably a chart correlating the lengths of the individual groups of containers with standard shelving depths is available at the display site.

Abstract: A combination beverage mixer and strainer is disclosed, comprising a first container and a second container, each container having a closed end, an open end, a peripheral wall defining an interior space therein. The area of each open end is greater than the area of each closed end. The first container includes a straining edge of the peripheral wall proximate the periphery of the open end and having a plurality of apertures traversing therethrough. The area of the open end of the second container is greater than the area of the closed end thereof but smaller than the area of the open end of the first container. The open end of the second container may be inserted fully into the open end of the first container such that the peripheral wall of the second container contacts the peripheral wall of the first container below the straining edge so that the internal spaces of each container are sealed and the contents of the containers shaken and mixed.

The handle and the transfer barrel are mounted to rotate coaxially in synchronization. When the handle and the transfer barrel are rotated to an open position, the opening of the transfer barrel is above the seal band; when they are rotated to a closed position, the opening of the transfer barrel is below the seal band. In another embodiment, a lid rather than a handle is provided and coupled to the transfer barrel to rotate it. Springs are provided to urge the lid toward an open position.

Abstract: A molded plastic container is shaped so as to resist deformation as a result of compressive forces that may be applied by the consumer during use. The container includes a pair of recessed grip portions that are molded into forward and rearward sides of the container and an outer handle portion. Reinforcing ribs are integrally molded into the forward and rearward sidewalls of the container in areas that are substantially adjacent to the recessed grip portions in order to provide additional crush resistance as the container is squeezed. Additionally, a torsional reinforcement rib is integrated into an upper side portion of the container in order to resist deformation of the container and the pouring opening of the container during pouring. The torsional reinforcement rib is integral with the two reinforcing ribs, which provides additional strength and pouring stability to the container.

Abstract: A securing assembly for fastening a container lid to an open topped container, the container having a pair of container fixture elements at opposed positions at the top of the container. The securing assembly is a strap having a pair of strap spans. One strap span extends between one of a pair of lid fixture elements and one buckle member. The other strap span extends between the other lid fixture element and another buckle member, the buckle members engageable to buckle the strap spans together. The container fixture elements engage with respective lid fixture elements for fixing the buckled strap spans so that the lid is held against the container top. A loop is attached to and extends from one anchor location on the first strap span to another anchor location on the second strap span, the loop position at the one anchor location being adjustable, so as to alter the length of the loop and to correspondingly alter the length of the first strap span.

The slide type pivot mechanism comprises: an axis part projecting from the base end part of the lid; an arm plate part formed on the housing; an engagement receiving part formed on the arm plate part and to be engaged with the axis part of the lid; a bearing part formed on the arm plate part and supporting the axis part of the lid rotatably; and a holding part formed on the housing, holding the axis part of the lid between the holding part and the arm plate part, and allowing the axis part to slide. The arm plate part is elastically deformable.
