Abstract: A cover retention mechanism for releasably locking a cover to a base such as a gage housing. The cover retention mechanism includes a base lock having a receiver and a receptacle, and a cover lock having a latch attached to an end of a flexible arm. The latch is selectively movable between a retracted position wherein the latch engages the receptacle to prevent rotational movement of the cover with respect to the housing from the closed position toward an open position, and an extended position wherein the latch is removed from the receptacle and the cover is rotatable with respect to the housing from the closed position toward the open position.

Abstract: A device (20) includes a holder (24) for encircling and holding two containers (76, 96). A tubular structure (22), directed through the holder (24), includes a first tubular portion (52) extending from an outer surface (44) of the holder (24) and a second tubular portion (54) extending from another outer surface (46) of the holder (24). A method of utilization entails placing one container (76) in a sleeve (26) of the device (20) and placing the other container (96) in another sleeve (28) of the device (20). Application of a force (108) causes the tubular portion (52) to pierce the container (76) inside the sleeve (26), and also causes the tubular portion (54) to pierce the container (96) inside the sleeve (28), thereby coupling the containers (76, 96) and enabling transfer of fluid (110, 114) from one container (76) to the other container (96) via the tubular structure (22).

Abstract: A handle attached to cookware piece configured to position the cookware piece within a larger cookware piece in a nested arrangement. The handle may include a body having a slot disposed within a bottom surface of the handle body. The slot may be configured such that when a smaller cookware piece is positioned within a larger cookware piece, an upper edge the smaller cookware piece is equal to or less than the same height of an upper edge of the larger cookware piece. The smaller cookware piece may be held by the slot within the larger cookware piece in a substantially horizontal orientation.

Abstract: A cup for reducing or eliminating spillage or shake-out. The cup has a cap and a spill and shake-out inhibiting element. The spill and shake-out inhibiting element is a dispensing tunnel, which provides for the formation of a pressure differential between the inside of the cup and the atmosphere when fluid begins to flow through the dispensing tunnel. The pressure differential, when it reaches a predetermined level, prevents further flow or movement of the fluid through the dispensing tunnel until additional suction is applied by the user. The diameter of the dispensing tunnel is small enough to effectively prevent air bubbles from flowing past the fluid in the dispensing tunnel.

The open top of the base at least partially exposing the hollow interior when the lid is in the second position.

Abstract: A container, particularly a beverage bottle, can be closed in a bottle opening of a bottle body with a closure made of a plastic material or glass. A fixing element is detachable fastened to the bottle body and holds the closure in the bottle opening. Such a bottle closure solves the problems involving, in particular, wine bottles and which arise when otherwise common bottle cork stoppers are used.

Abstract: The invention discloses a recycling bin cover comprising a base member engageable with a periphery of a recycling bin's open top; a frame having a plurality of frame members extending upwardly from the base member toward an imaginary apex; a curtain supported on and forming a sidewall extending around the frame; a flap forming an openable sidewall in the curtain; an opening positioned on the curtain and dimensioned to accept materials for recycling into the bin; and one or more lifting members connected to the base member, to the frame, or to both, and extending to form a handle above the recycling bin cover. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices are disclosed for partitioning food containers, such as cereal bowls. Some embodiments may include a system with a food container, which may be a cereal bowl. The system may also include a flexible membrane having a top surface and a bottom surface. The membrane may partition the food container into a lower portion and an upper portion. The lower portion may be for holding liquid content. The upper bowl portion may be adapted for holding edible solid content. The membrane may have multiple passageways extending from the membrane bottom surface through the membrane top surface. The multiple passageways may be normally closed and then expand to an open configuration allowing fluid transmission from below the membrane to above the membrane when the membrane is flexed in a first direction normal to a resting plane parallel to the top surface and the bottom surface.

A tubular fiberboard sidewall defines a peripherally closed space having open opposite upper and lower ends. The tubular sidewall lower end is threaded into the threaded annular channel to close the sidewall lower end. The shipping and storage drum may also comprise a chime of synthetic resin comprising a connecting ring having a downwardly opening threaded annular channel receiving the upper end of the tubular sidewall, the chime for removably receiving a cover.

Abstract: A plastic container for a particulate product includes a base and a surrounding wall member upstanding therefrom which generally define a container main interior volume. A top connects to the surrounding wall member and includes a large opening sufficient to receive about a 5 inch cylinder therethrough. The surrounding wall member includes a pair of pinch pockets having a lateral opening separation W which is not greater than about 2.5 inches and/or a lateral minimum separation C of not greater than about 2.0. In some embodiment, a thumb receiving cavity is provided above the pinch pockets. The pinch pockets are configured and sized for easy grasping and holding of the container.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a container and a method of making a container. In one example, the container includes an upper portion having a finish defining a longitudinal axis and an opening into the container. A shoulder region is integrally formed with and extends from the upper portion. A sidewall portion extends from the shoulder region to a base portion. A tamper evident (TE) band is formed on the finish and defines an outermost surface of the plastic container above the shoulder region. A neck defining a cylindrical sidewall is integrally formed with and extends between the finish and the shoulder region. The neck defines a uniform cylindrical sidewall along its entire height between the finish and the shoulder region. The container further includes a debossed support flange defined on the upper portion. The debossed support flange defines a diameter less than a diameter defined by the TE band.

Abstract: A drink vessel holder holds a drink vessel on a target surface such as a plate of food allowing the user to hold both the plate and the drink vessel held thereon with the same hand in order to allow the other hand to be used for enjoyment of the products being held. The drink vessel holder has a flexible body member with an upper portion with a first top surface and a first bottom surface and a lower portion with a second top surface and a second bottom surface with an adhesive material disposed on the first bottom surface of the upper portion.

Abstract: Tubes packed with gas absorbent media are installed in radial sectors in a high pressure gas tank interior. When a tank is fully packed with gas absorbent tubes in all sectors, interstices in the internal spaces between the tubes, an internal heat exchanger may be centrally installed within the tank having conduits for high pressure gas flow in the tank in a configuration in accordance with the cooling and heating requirements of the particular tank system. Flanged ends on the tubes maintain spacing of the tubes, facilitating gas flow and absorption.

Abstract: A disposable child's drinking cup has a lid with a drinking spout defining multiple open holes sized to resist leakage in the absence of suction, such as by the development of surface tension at the holes, and to allow flow when suction is applied. The holes are formed during molding of the lid. An inner contour of a groove of the lid and an outer contour of the cup body rim are selected to provide a slight snap fit of the lid onto the cup body, to provide a secure seal.

Abstract: A storage/transport container has a plurality of walls defining an upwardly open vessel having an upper rim and a generally flat cover panel hinged on one of the walls and having an inner edge. The rim has opposite to one of the walls structure forming another inner edge. The cover panel is pivotal into a closed position with the inner edges juxtaposed, retaining formations projecting generally perpendicularly from the inner edge of the cover panel and oppositely from the other inner edge that fit together in the closed position. Hooks are formed on the edges and positioned so as to be opened directly at each other in the closed position. The hooks normally are spaced apart but, on deformation of the cover panel, hook together and preventing separation of the edges.
