Abstract: A computer system may track the user's eye gaze on a display device over time using an eye tracker. When the computer system detects a risk associated with a graphical object and determines that the user's gaze is close to the graphical object, it may display a warning message indicating the risk. The computer system may display the warning message at a location that corresponds to the graphical object associated with the risk. Furthermore, when the computer system detects a risk and determines that the user's gaze is not at the graphical object that needs the user's immediate attention, it may display a warning message near the user's current gaze to notify the user. If desired, the warning message may be hidden based on the user's gaze, such as when the user moves his gaze away from the detected risk.

Abstract: Building environment data collection systems and methods are described. According to one aspect, a system includes a plurality of sensor devices which store different types of environment data, a base system comprising a plurality of interface devices configured to receive the environment data from the sensor devices, storage circuitry configured to store the environment data, and communications circuitry configured to implement communications, and a user interface apparatus comprising communications circuitry configured to communicate with the communications circuitry of the base system, a user interface configured to receive user inputs during installation of the sensor devices, and processing circuitry configured to control the user interface to generate the displayed information and to process the user inputs received via the user interface, and wherein different ones of the sensor devices are configured to generate the different types of environment data as a result of the user inputs.

Abstract: A system and method for an interactive avionics display system integrates a large-format primary avionics display, a secondary avionics display capable of mirroring the display of electronic flight bag mobile devices, a format selector panel, and a keyboard panel. Background displays and foreground multifunction windows generated by the display system house applications and display relevant avionics data. The multifunction windows can be resized or repositioned on the display surface using finger contacts and gestures. Format selector panels include control selectors corresponding to the multifunction windows, the control selectors responsive to finger contact with the format selector panels or the corresponding multifunction windows. Keyboard panels provide touch-sensitive radio and communications controls as well as an alphanumeric keyboard responsive to finger contact with text fields generated by the display.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method and a mobile terminal for displaying a visual prompt. The method, implemented in the mobile terminal, includes: monitoring an application; determining after detecting that running of the application has met an interruption trigger condition, and according to a current display probability X, whether a first virtual animation image including option information on the application interruption needs to be displayed; and displaying, after it is determined that the first virtual animation image needs to be displayed, the first virtual animation image. As a mobile terminal has an additional function of performing real-time monitoring on running the application, and can prompt, after detecting that a preset trigger condition has been met according to monitoring conditions, a user by using a virtual animation image to interrupt the running the application, thereby increasing functions of a mobile terminal.

Abstract: A method for creating a design for an image product includes registering a group of image sources by a network based image service system, wherein the group of image sources comprise a first device and a second device, receiving a notification, by the network based image service system, from the image sources about availabilities of the image sources, representing the second device and a local storage of the first device at a user interface on the first device, indicating an availability status of the second device on the first device, and if the availability status of the second device indicates that the second device is available, allowing a user to browse, on the first device, images stored on the second device.

Abstract: Systems and methods are used to display data obtained from a qPCR instrument. Each of two or more samples is probed with a first labeling probe and a second labeling probe. A first data set is received from a qPCR instrument at a first cycle number that includes for each sample a first labeling probe intensity, and a second labeling probe intensity. A second data set is received at a second cycle number that includes for each sample a first labeling probe intensity and a second labeling probe intensity. A first plot of first labeling probe intensity as a function of second labeling probe intensity is created using the first data set. A second plot of first labeling probe intensity as a function of second labeling probe intensity is created using the second data set. The first plot and the second plot are displayed in response to user defined input to provide dynamic and real-time analysis of genotyping data.

Abstract: A mirror display system having low data traffic comprises a transmitting-end device and a receiving-end device. The transmitting-end device stores a first file and transforms the first file into the first page images. The receiving-end device stores a second file with same content of the first file and transforms the second file into the second page images. The transmitting-end device selects one of the first page images according to a page-selecting operation, and transmits an identifying page data of the selected first page image to the receiving-end device. The receiving-end device selects and displays one of the second page images corresponding to the identifying page data. With pre-storing the file duplicate in the receiving-end device and the receiving-end automatically generating the image, the required data traffic of the mirror display is effectively reduced and the mirror display operation is made smoother.

Abstract: A display control unit that displays a screen that transitions to a next screen based on a predetermined input made by a user on a display unit; and a determining unit that determines, when the screen is displayed and the predetermined input has not been made, whether a display condition for a preview for next screen to let the user view the next screen in advance is satisfied are included, and the display control unit displays the preview for next screen on the display unit when the display condition is satisfied.

Abstract: A framework for improving user interfaces, and menu systems in particular, is described herein. In one embodiment, a search bar is introduced to the user interface in addition to, or to the exclusion of, menu system components. By reducing or eliminating the need for a persistent menu system UI, screen real-estate is made available for other content displayed by the application. In one embodiment, a user desiring to access functionality exposed by the application enters search text into the search bar. A list of search results is displayed, the list including actions—pieces of functionality exposed by the application—and/or traditional menu system components including menus, context menus, toolbars, pop-ups, widgets, buttons, and the like.

Abstract: A view display processing method and device and projection equipment are described. The method includes that: a target display area on a first display interface for displaying on a second display interface is determined; and a target display view corresponding to the target display area is determined, wherein the target display view is different from a view displayed on the first display interface; and the target display view is displayed on the second display interface. The method, device and apparatus solve the problem that a terminal with multiple sets of display systems cannot perform a differentiated display according to different display requirements in the related technology, and effects are further achieved that the terminal with the multiple sets of display systems can perform the differentiated display according to different display requirements and user experiences are improved.

Abstract: Three dimensional, conditional formatting based data visualization is provided. Received underlying data may be analyzed and one or more portions of the underlying data that are of interest to a user determined. The portions may be selected actively by a user of automatically determined based on a variation of values in each portion, values of data points in each portion, a usage history of the user, and/or a credential of the user. A background image may be generated by converting the tabular data into a three dimensional image or selecting and image or a graphic associated with the underlying data. The visualization(s) may then be displayed over the background. Scenes may be selected for animated slide shows or movies.

Abstract: A user terminal device includes: a flexible display that is divided into a main area, which is disposed on a front surface, and a sub area, which includes a bent portion extending from the main area toward a side surface; a touch sensor configured to receive a touch input of a user in at least one of the main area and the sub area; and a controller configured to, in response to a predetermined event occurring, control the flexible display to display, in the main area, a plurality of user interface (UI) elements, and in response to one of the plurality of UI elements displayed in the main area being selected, control the flexible display to display the selected UI element in the sub area.

Abstract: A vehicle has a navigation unit provided with a display unit displaying information related to the vehicle. The navigation unit detects whether a menu related function needing to be displayed on the display unit is present by analyzing a condition of the vehicle and a driving pattern. The navigation unit outputs the menu related function through the display unit when the menu related function is present.

Abstract: A control panel includes an input portion to which an operation by an operator is input; a unified screen storage element that stores a unified screen that is a screen that is unified with respect to the plurality of types of controllers, and displays the data; a display portion capable of displaying a special screen and the unified screen; and an operation control portion that switches between displaying the special screen and the unified screen on the display portion based on information input to the input portion, and controls an actuator control portion based on information input to the input portion.

Abstract: Techniques for remotely controlling a presentation application are disclosed. In accordance with these techniques, a device, such as a handheld device, is linked over a network with a presentation running on a presentation application. In one embodiment, the remote control application allows the presentation to be controlled over the network by direct communication with the presentation application. In certain embodiments, the remote control application displays parts of the presentation, such as a slide being currently presented, and allows navigation of the presentation. In addition, in certain embodiments, the remote control application displays presentation notes, preview slides, or other information useful to a presenter operating the remote control application.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods and systems for immersive system interfacing. A stimulus is defined in the form of a gesture or posture with an end-effector such as a hand. The stimulus is sensed within an environment and communicated to a processor. In response to the stimulus the processor generates a user interface, the interface being outputted near the end-effector. The stimulus may be identical for all times, all places, and all conditions in the environment. The interface may be generated and outputted in response to the stimulus for all times, places, and conditions in the environment. The apparatus includes a processor adapted to define a stimulus in the form of an end-effector gesture or posture, and to generate a user interface in response to the stimulus. A sensor is adapted to sense the stimulus, and a display is adapted to output the interface to an environment.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media for creating and using customized avatar instances to reflect current user states are disclosed. In various implementations, the user states can be defined using trigger events based on user-entered textual data, emoticons, or states of the device being used. For each user state, a customized avatar instance having a facial expression, body language, accessories, clothing items, and/or a presentation scheme reflective of the user state can be generated. When one or more trigger events indicating occurrence of a particular user state are detected on the device, the avatar presented on the device is updated with the customized avatar instance associated with the particular user state.

One or more file types for the file access request are identified, and one or more file hosts supporting files of the identified one or more file types are also identified. A user interface is displayed, the user interface including a hosted area. Within the hosted area, at least one of the one or more file hosts displays a portion of the user interface identifying one or more files of at least one file host that can be selected for retrieval, or one or more locations that can be selected to which the one or more files are saved.

Abstract: Systems and methods to reserve resources is provided. In exemplary embodiments, a selection of a profile from a user is received. A dynamic graphical user interface is generated, using one or more processors. The dynamic graphical user interface allows the user to configure a topology based on the selected profile. The dynamic graphical user interface provides input fields in which the user may select a resource. An indication of the selected applicable topology property for configuring the topology is received. A topology is automatically generating based in part on the selected applicable topology property.

Abstract: Concepts and technologies are described herein for objectizing and animating images. In accordance with the concepts and technologies disclosed herein, a presentation program is configured to import an image, to analyze the image and/or data describing the image, and to identify entities within the image. The presentation program creates objects corresponding to the identified entities, and program presents the identified entities and/or the created objects via a user interface. The presentation program also can be configured to present one or more user interfaces via which a user selects entities and/or objects and specifies or controls animations of the selected entities or objects.
