  • Patent number: 11880717
Abstract: An apparatus includes a multi-tenant computer system including a processor and a memory operatively coupled to the processor. The apparatus receives a first service request from a first compute device and a second service request from a second compute device. Data values of the first service request are not accessible by the second compute device and data values of the second request are not accessible by the first compute device. The apparatus merges the data values of the first service request and the data values of the second service request and filters the results based on a set of rules not accessible to the second compute device to produce a first filtered result responsive to the second service request. The apparatus also filters the results based on a set of rules not accessible to the first compute device to produce a second filtered result responsive to the first service request.

  • Patent number: 11881997
Abstract: In general, techniques are described for determining reorder commands for remote reordering of policy rules. A device management system comprising a memory, a processor, and an interface may be configured to perform the techniques. A memory may store a currently configured policy for a managed network device and an updated policy for the managed device. The processor may determine a longest increasing subsequence (LIS) between a source list comprising the plurality of policy rules in a first ordering and a destination list of the plurality of policy rules in a second ordering. The processor may generate, based on the LIS, one or more policy configuration commands for the managed network device that direct the managed network device to conform the currently configured policy to the updated policy. The interface may output the one or more policy configuration commands to the managed network device.

  • Patent number: 11882196
Abstract: In some embodiments, a method instantiates a proxy that stores first state information for first workloads running on a first computing device. The first computing device receives a migrated workload from a second computing device and second state information for a session associated with the migrated workload. The second state information is generated by a proxy on the second computing device that processed one or more packets for the migrated workload on the second computing device. The method stories the second state information for the proxy on the first computing device and resumes the session associated with the migrated workload using the proxy on the first computing device.

  • Patent number: 11876765
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for maintaining messaging privileges on a messaging platform. A method may include determining that a message has been sent to a first computing device of a first user from a second computing device of a second user, wherein the message is on a messaging platform. In response to determining that the first user provided consent for a recording of the first user during output of the message on the first computing device, the method may include retrieving the recording of the first user indicative of a reaction to the message. The method may include determining whether the second user is violating a social contract of the messaging platform based on the reaction of the first user, and in response to determining that the second user is violating the social contract, may include suspending a writing privilege of the second user on the messaging platform.

  • Patent number: 11861385
Abstract: A method for electronic device virtualization and management includes transmitting a signal to a server from a client. The signal is initiated by a user of a user interface of the client. The user interface of the client presents at least two devices to the user, which the user may interact with. The signal may include a power cycling instruction directed to at least one of the devices. When the server receives a communication back from the at least one device, it may send the information to the client, where the user interface may be updated in response to the communication. The devices may be controlled with other instructions, such as scheduling instructions, firmware update instructions, and configuration backup instructions. If a power device is virtualized, it may be controlled on a port-by-port basis.

  • Patent number: 11853970
Abstract: An information exchange platform referred to as a Trading Grid (TG) may perform relationship-based data processing utilizing a trading partner (TP) graph that describes relationships amongst operating units (OUs) on the TG. When the TG receives a request from an OU to exchange data with a TP, the TG accesses the TP graph and determines a relationship between the OU and their TP as reflected in the TP graph. The TP graph is maintained and controlled by the system independently of the OU and the TP. The TG may route the data based on instructions associated with the relationship that is reflected in the TP graph. The instructions associated with the relationship may specify network based services provided by the TG. An orchestration component may operate to orchestrate the performance of the network based services. The TG then communicates the processed and/or produced data to the TP.

  • Patent number: 11847537
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to machine learning based analysis of electronic communications. A computing platform may monitor receipt of a potentially unacceptable electronic communication by a user. Then, the computing platform may extract one or more attributes of the potentially unacceptable electronic communication. The computing platform may then perform, based on the one or more attributes, textual analysis of the potentially unacceptable electronic communication. Subsequently, the computing platform may retrieve one or more rules applicable to the potentially unacceptable electronic communication. Then, the computing platform may determine, based on the textual analysis and the one or more rules, and based on a repository of previously identified unacceptable content, whether the potentially unacceptable electronic communication is unacceptable.

  • Patent number: 11843610
Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques for providing multiple namespace support to application(s) in containers under Kubernetes without breaking containment boundaries or escalating privileges of the application(s). A namespace service executing on a physical server may communicate with contained processes executing on the physical server by utilizing a Unix Domain Socket (UDS) endpoint in the filesystem of each of the containers. the namespace service may execute on the physical server with escalated privileges, allowing the namespace service to create a socket in a namespace and provide access and rights to utilize the socket to process(es) in a separate namespace.

  • Patent number: 11842208
Abstract: Virtual resources may be provisioned in a manner that is aware of, and respects, underlying implementation resource boundaries. A customer of the virtual resource provider may specify that particular virtual resources are to be implemented with implementation resources that are dedicated to the customer. Dedicating an implementation resource to a particular customer of a virtual resource provider may establish one or more information barriers between the particular customer and other customers of the virtual resource provider. Implementation resources may require transition procedures, including custom transition procedures, to enter and exit dedicated implementation resource pools. Costs corresponding to active and inactive implementation resources in a dedicated pools associated with a particular customer may be accounted for, and presented to, the customer in a variety of ways including explicit, adjusted per customer and adjusted per type of virtual resource and/or implementation resource.

  • Patent number: 11838221
Abstract: A system may receive a first definition for a virtualized instance of a network function. The first definition may include a first set of declarations in a first format that is different than respective formats supported by different virtualized environments. The system may select a first virtualized environment to run the virtualized instance based on requirements specified within the first definition, and may generate a second definition with a second set of declarations that map the first set of declarations from the first format to a second format supported by the first virtualized environment. The system may deploy the virtualized instance to the first virtualized environment using the second set of declarations from the second definition. Deploying the virtualized instance may include configuring its operation based on some of the second set of declarations matching a configuration format supported by the first virtualized environment.

  • Patent number: 11822522
Abstract: One example method includes transmitting a request for a container image to a registry, receiving metadata associated with the container image, wherein the metadata allows a controller to mount an empty filesystem on a host machine, starting a container from the container image without receiving all files associated with the container image, receiving files, from a container server, needed by the container based on an access sequence associated with the container. This allows a container to be started without downloading the entire container image and also conversed bandwidth by providing the files as needed based on the manner in which the container accesses files during execution.

  • Patent number: 11824938
Abstract: Described herein are techniques for integrating external sensors to an edge device, such as for ingesting data into a data intake and query system. The edge device has an internal message broker for communicating with internal (e.g., preconfigured, recognized) sensors, and an external message broker for communicating with external (e.g., customer-configured, otherwise unrecognized) sensors. The external message broker provides access to customer configuration of external sensors, but is logically quarantined from the internal message broker to prevent unwanted customer access to internal configurations. The internal and external message brokers interface only via a bridging service that transforms external sensor data into data based on customer-configurable transformations. The transformed data can be handled by the edge device and/or downstream components (e.g., a data intake and query system) in the same manner as internal sensor data.
