Abstract: Systems, methods, devices, and computer readable media related to fraud detection. Fraud detection is achieved using a flexible scripting language and syntax that simplifies the generation of fraud detection rules. The rules are structured as conditional IF-THEN statements that include data objects referred to as Anchors and Add-Ons. The Anchors and Add-Ons used to generate the rules also correspond to a distinct data path for the retrieval data from any of a variety of data sources. The retrieval of data from the various data sources is optimized based on data dependencies within the rules. By knowing the data dependencies of each rule and utilizing parallelization of rule execution, the retrievals of data from the data sources is achieved efficiently so the rules can be executed quickly.

Abstract: A system for updating a database comprises an input interface and a processor. The input interface is configured to receive image data. The processor is configured to determine from the image data one or more attributes of a database entry for real estate property and update the database entry for the real estate property.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method and an apparatus for notifying customers of agent's availability is disclosed. An input indicative of a customer seeking an interaction with an agent of an enterprise is received on a first interaction channel. Subsequent to receiving the input, it is determined whether at least one agent is available for interacting with the customer. If no agent is available for interacting with the customer, a status message including an estimate of a waiting time for the interaction with the agent is provided to the customer. Subsequent to detecting the availability of the agent, a notification is provided to the customer for informing the customer of the availability of the agent. An interaction is facilitated between the customer and the agent subsequent to providing the notification to the customer. The interaction is facilitated on the first interaction channel or a second interaction channel different than the first interaction channel.

The device may process the assessment scores and the performance data, with an attrition model, to identify attrition scores for the candidate and confidences of the attrition scores, and may calculate a final attrition score based on the attrition scores. The device may process the assessment scores and the performance data, with a performance model, to identify performance scores for the candidate and confidences of the performance scores, and may calculate a final performance score based on the performance scores. The device may calculate an overall score based on the final attrition score and the final performance score, and may perform one or more actions based on the overall score.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods capable of establishing a communication session between a user and an analyst. The contents of the communication session are analyzed to make recommendations of goods and services to the user. Otherwise, the communication session may be redirected from one channel, for example, chatting to another channel, for example, voice call, to another analyst. The user's information and the communication session details are retained, and provided to another analyst before the user is redirected. Such systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer program products use real-time machine learning scoring algorithm to determine which analyst the users should be transferred to, and thereby saving a lot of time for both the analysts and the users, and significantly reduce misroutes by eliminating human errors.

Abstract: Automated interfaces with interactive keywords between employment postings and candidate profiles are disclosed. An example system includes a profile database and one or more processors. The one or more processors are configured to identify one or more posting keywords by parsing extracted text of an employment posting, retrieve one or more posting search-terms from a search-term database based on the one or more posting keywords, and generate a list of candidates based on one or more candidate profiles retrieved from the profile database. Further, the one or more processors are configured to present, to the recruiter, an interface that includes a posting section and a candidate section adjacent to the posting section. Further, the one or more processors are configured to typographically emphasize the posting keywords that are associated with the posting search-terms to indicate relationships between the employment posting and the list of candidates.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a computer implemented method and system for conducting an individualized, virtually moderated, and virtual real time debate. Debating topics and debating rules are defined for the debate. A group of panelists is selected for the debate based on the debating topics. An electronic debating platform is provided to the panelists for receiving one or more key points, responses, and counter-responses contributed by each of the panelists in non real time. The key points, the responses, and the counter-responses are governed by the debating rules. The prerecorded key points, responses, counter-responses, and one or more information components relevant to each of the key points are stringed together in sequence. The debate is presented to a viewer on a multimedia presentation layer. The presentation of the debate is customized by enabling the viewer to selectively navigate through the presentation using the sequenced key points, responses, counter-responses, and information components.

Abstract: Some embodiments provide a method for evaluating a content segment for relevancy to several of categories. The method retrieves the content segment. For each of the several categories, the method determines the relevancy of the content segment to the category by using a scoring model for the category. The scoring model accounts for (i) the presence of key word sets in the content segment and (ii) the context of the key word sets in the content segment. For each of the several categories, the method tags the content segment when the content segment is determined as relevant to the category.

Abstract: An automated method for certifying pre-owned vehicles is provided including providing a graphical user interface (GUI) on a computing device to a set of stakeholders; generating a login page on a display of the computing device; receiving a stakeholders credentials for login; receiving a vehicle identification number (VIN); checking the VIN against a database of vehicles for eligibility of the vehicle to participate in a certified pre-owned program; sending the VIN to one or more vehicle history reporting agencies; receiving a vehicle history report (VHR) related to the VIN; providing the VHR to a user for review; determining the eligibility of the vehicle based on the user review of the VHR; generating on screen inspection forms based on the VIN; receiving user generated responses to the inspection forms; and generating a digital certification based on the generated responses that conform to preprogrammed guidelines or standards of the certified pre-owned program.

The system may include a first mobile device associated with a first entity. The first mobile device may be configured to detect an indicator via an augmented reality subsystem. The indicator may include a characteristic and be associated with a second entity, as well as be configured to associate meta-information with the indicator. The first mobile device may further be configured to receive an input comprising an amount to be transferred from the first entity to the second entity and transmit a set of instructions to a money transfer network. The set of instructions may be based in part on the indicator and the input, and include instructions to perform a money transfer between the first entity and the second entity.

Abstract: The invention discloses a waitressing drone that brings drinks to people at the restaurant, and the orders are identified from the Facebook photo of the user, that the drone displays when making the delivery. The invention facilitates the interaction with humans and drones via the social network. With the invention, the order input time is greatly reduced for the consumer, and the consumer may move about while waiting for the order as the drone finds the consumer. Also importantly, the social nature of the drone allows for the sharing of drones among multiple human users. Further, the interfacing of the social human profile with non-human drone profiles allows for the continuous retraining and reprogramming of drones to meet more specific and individualistic user tasks, thereby liberating people from mundane manual labour.

Abstract: A method and system for processing a financial transaction initiated by a cardholder with a merchant. The cardholder initiates the transaction using a cardholder input device and transmits an authorization request message including transaction data received by the cardholder input device from a point of sale (POS) device associated with the merchant. The authorization request message is received by a computer system. The transaction data is validated, and an authorization response message is transmitted after validation. The cardholder input device may forward the authorization response message to the POS device for completing the transaction.

Abstract: An enhanced service system comprises a pair of first wires between a first position proximal to an entry point of a drive through facility and a second position proximal to a receiving window in the drive through facility, and an aerial host unit coupled to the pair of first wires using a pair of first and second host wires. The aerial host unit is longitudinally movable between the first position and the second position and includes an aerial host member moveably supported by the first and second host wires to move laterally between the pair of first wires to approach an incoming customer vehicle, facilitate the customer to place an order, receive payment from the customer, and direct the customer to the receiving window where the aerial host member retrieves the items corresponding to the placed order from the receiving window and transfers the retrieved items to the customer.

Abstract: A property inspection system includes a mobile inspection device, a camera, a project template generator, a report generator, and an image association program. The project template generator guides the user through an inspection project. The report generator provides a list of defects, along with the number of occurrences of each defect and the number of locations where the defect can be found. The image association program creates a record for each still image taken by the camera, the record including the name, location, and sublocation of the defect shown in the still image. The image association program may also associate video of a defect with the still images of the defect.

Abstract: In a method for applying penalties or incentives to a driver of a rented vehicle, an indication that the driver has agreed to terms for renting the vehicle from the vehicle owner is received, with the terms including the potential application of penalties or incentives to the driver based on driving behavior. Telematics data, indicative of operation of the rented vehicle by the driver during a period of time, is received. By analyzing the telematics data, one or more driving behaviors of the driver during the time period is/are identified. For each driving behavior, a corresponding state of an environment of the rented vehicle when the driving behavior occurred is determined. One or more penalties or incentives are caused to be applied to the driver, based on the driving behavior(s) and the corresponding state(s) of the environment of the rented vehicle.

Abstract: Disclosed is a system for real-time measurement of inventory on shelves. The system uses light sensors placed in association with the inventory and the shelves to measure in real-time the removal/replacement of inventory from the shelves. When inventory is on the shelves, less light reaches the light sensors. As inventory is removed from shelves, the light sensors receive more light. The difference in light received generates as signal that can be measured, thereby allowing for determining inventory levels on each shelf. The system may be retro-fitted to existing shelving systems, thereby avoiding the cost of purchasing new shelving systems. The system can work on any shelving system, including gravity-feed roller shelf (GRS), flat shelves, and spring loaded pusher shelves, and is unaffected by usual temperatures found in retail establishments and can thus work in both refrigerated and unrefrigerated systems. Also disclosed are related methods.
