Abstract: A system for treatment of a polluted effluent, includes an outer chamber configured to treat the polluted effluent in mixture with a purification slurry including particles of one or more catalysts and/or organoclays, or a mixture thereof. The outer chamber includes (i) a stirring unit consisting of an engine and a stirrer, configured to mix the polluted effluent and the purification slurry to prevent the particles from sinking without causing a turbulence, (ii) a membrane located at the top of the outer chamber through which a treated effluent passes, while preventing the particles of one or more catalysts and/or organoclays from exiting the outer chamber together with the treated effluent, (iii) a membrane cleaning system configured to remove and collect the particles of one or more catalysts and/or organoclays accumulated on the membrane, and re-introducing the particles back to the bottom of the outer chamber.
Abstract: The present invention provides a multi plate screw press sludge dewatering machine and a helical shaft thereof. The multi plate screw press sludge dewatering machine includes fixed rings, movable rings, the helical shaft, a sludge inlet tank and a sludge discharging tank; the helical shaft adopts a variable diameter variable pitch helical shaft, a lead angle arrangement sequence of a helical blade of the whole helical shaft is gradual reduction from the sludge discharging tank to the sludge inlet tank, and the lead angle arrangement sequence is gradually reduced from 16°-22° to 6°-14°; a pitch of the helical shaft is gradually increased along a direction from the sludge inlet tank to the sludge discharging tank; a diameter of a shaft body of the helical shaft is gradually increased along with a direction of the sludge discharging tank from a ? position of a shaft length; and blockage prevention plates are arranged on two sides of the bottom of the helical blade.

Abstract: A container for forming a solution for use in a hemodialysis device comprises a first portion comprising a powder, a second portion disposed separate from and in fluid communication with the first portion, and a filter disposed between the first portion and the second portion. Abstract: A magnetic density separator includes a process channel, a magnetization device, a laminator, and a feed including an entraining device. The process channel may permit magnetic process liquid and particles to be separated to flow through in a flow direction. The magnetization device may be arranged to extend in flow direction along at least one of the walls of the channel and to apply a magnetic field to the process liquid in a separation zone of the channel to establish a cut density of the magnetic process liquid to separate the particles in the process liquid based on their density. The laminator may be configured to introduce magnetic process liquid into the channel to flow laminarized in flow direction along the separation zone. The feed may introduce a mixture of process liquid and particles to be separated into the process channel to join the laminarized process liquid.

Abstract: A method of controlling an enhanced primary treatment (EPT) system that includes an EPT settling tank. A sludge drain discharges a sludge including BOD from the EPT settling tank and a clarified effluent discharge recovers decanted fluid from the EPT settling tank. A controller has at least one computer processor. A sludge sensor is communicatively coupled to the controller. The sludge sensor provides a sludge BOD concentration measurement, or a measurement from which the sludge BOD concentration is calculated. A process algorithm controls the sludge valve to control the discharge of the sludge by gravity or by pumping in response to data from the sludge sensor of the sludge BOD concentration.

The control system having a filter level set point, wherein the filter level set point corresponds to a desired filter media bed expansion. Abstract: A method and system of providing ultrapure water for semiconductor fabrication operations is provided. The water is treated by utilizing a free radical scavenging system. The free radical scavenging system can utilize actinic radiation with a free radical precursor compound, such as ammonium persulfate. The ultrapure water may be further treated by utilizing ion exchange media and degasification apparatus. A control system can be utilized to regulate a continuously variable intensity of the actinic radiation.
Abstract: A drainage processing apparatus that processes drainage expelled from a scrubber apparatus is provided. The drainage processing apparatus includes: a magnetic powder adding unit that adds magnetic powders to the drainage; a transfer unit that transfers the drainage; and an adsorbing unit that: is provided in the transfer unit; adsorbs bound matter that is contained in the drainage and contains at least a process-target substance and the magnetic powders; and retains the bound matter in the transfer unit. In one example, the adsorbing unit is able to re-release adsorbed bound matter into the transfer unit. In one example, the adsorbing unit has a permanent magnet provided to be directly insertable into and removable from within the transfer unit, and the permanent magnet adsorbs the bound matter by being inserted into the transfer unit, and re-releases the bound matter into the transfer unit by being removed from within the transfer unit.
