The computing device receives an indication of a second gesture to select a second sequence of one or more keys, and determines that characters associated with the second sequence of keys are included in a first candidate word based at least in part on the set of candidate strings, or are included in a second candidate word not based on the first sequence of keys. The computing device modifies the set of candidate strings based at least in part on the determination and outputs for display at least one of the modified candidate strings.

Accordingly, it is possible to minimize content search delay and the user's inconvenience related to a content search, such as too much screen scrolling, and to help the user to easily and quickly search for the content of interest.

An interface component relays the translation strings to a client device that includes fonts that enables the client device to graphically render text/symbols abstracted by the translation strings in a desired language. For example, the translation strings can be Unicode strings.

Abstract: An improved solution for managing development of a multi-tiered enterprise application. In particular, a plurality of logical tiers for the enterprise application are identified and a corresponding set of components for each of the logical tiers is obtained. An enterprise application view is generated based on the logical tiers and sets of components to provide an end-to-end graphical view of the enterprise application. The enterprise application view can be integrated with various development tools that are used to develop the components for the enterprise application. To this extent, the invention can automatically integrate component development artifacts for deployment. As a result, the invention can provide a truly integrated development environment for developing the enterprise application.

The GUI also provides interlocked queries and analysis tools to probe the dataset. Each view comprises a polygon layer corresponding to the displayed map and a point layer corresponding to the displayed map, where the polygon layer and the point layer work in tandem to simultaneously display both aggregated and disaggregated data across the displayed map. A selection of a specific item of the point layer or a sub-region of the polygon layer is received from the user. In response, both the point layer and the polygon layer are modified so as to provide additional selectable information corresponding to the received selection and also additional selectable information that may be of interest to the user.

Abstract: An approach for providing self-service call plan application development is disclosed. A graphical system includes a computing system that is configured to cause a graphical user interface (GUI) to be present for automated creation of an application for controlling call flow logic. The application supports a predefined feature set. Additionally, the system includes a database that is coupled to the server and configured to store the application. The server is further configured to determine whether the application is valid and to initiate deployment of the application. The deployment may be performed on a real-time basis.

Abstract: A work flow driven method of performing multi-step medical procedures includes displaying the visual displays from separate computer controlled systems on a composite display, and displaying prompts for a plurality of steps of the multi-step medical procedure, and in response to user selection from the prompts, automatically reconfiguring the composite display based in part on the selection. Alternatively the display can be changed in response to user actions other than selection. In other embodiments, the composite display can change automatically to match a planned work flow.

Abstract: An apparatus and method are disclosed for providing feedback and guidance to touch screen device users to improve text entry user experience and performance by generating input history data including character probabilities, word probabilities, and touch models. According to one embodiment, a method comprises receiving first input data, automatically learning user tendencies based on the first input data to generate input history data, receiving second input data, and generating auto-corrections or suggestion candidates for one or more words of the second input data based on the input history data. The user can then select one of the suggestion candidates to replace a selected word with the selected suggestion candidate.

Abstract: A collaborative phone-based file exchange technique that wirelessly synchronizes a user's work context with his or her mobile phone and makes this context readily available and sharable in collaborative situations. When the user is away from their desk, collaboration with others is possible by sharing/downloading between the mobile phone and a paired PC, which may be a colleague's computer or a meeting room workstation/computer. When the user returns to their office, any recently downloaded files are automatically synchronized back to their office PC.
