Abstract: Method performed by a network node for scheduling one or more bearers for transmission to or from a wireless device. The wireless device is serviced by the network node. The network node calculates a weight for each bearer of the one or more bearers. The calculating is based on an indication of a quality of service associated with information to be transmitted in each bearer of the one or more bearers. The network node schedules the one or more bearers for transmission to or from the wireless device based on the calculated weight. The calculated weight corresponds to a Listen-Before-Talk, LBT, setting. The LBT setting comprises an LBT algorithm and its corresponding one or more parameters.

Abstract: Technologies for low-latency data streaming include a computing device having a processor that includes a producer and a consumer. The producer generates a data item, and in a local buffer producer mode adds the data item to a local buffer, and in a remote buffer producer mode adds the data item to a remote buffer. When the local buffer is full, the producer switches to the remote buffer producer mode, and when the remote buffer is below a predetermined low threshold, the producer switches to the local buffer producer mode. The consumer reads the data item from the local buffer while operating in a local buffer consumer mode and reads the data item from the remote buffer while operating in a remote buffer consumer mode. When the local buffer is above a predetermined high threshold, the consumer may switch to a catch-up operating mode. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Abstract: A network device operative to maintain a first time of day (ToD) synchronized to a grandmaster clock is provided and includes a physical layer (PHY) circuit and a processor. The PHY circuit: maintains the first ToD in a first format and a second ToD in a second format; initially sets the second ToD based on a master ToD of the grandmaster clock; and updates the second ToD to maintain synchrony with a master time of the grandmaster clock by incrementing a counter based on a local clock, periodically updating the first ToD responsively to a counter value of the counter, and based on the updated first ToD and a compensation value, periodically adjusting the second ToD to more closely match the master time. The processor ascertains whether the second ToD has drifted from the master time and adjusts the compensation value based on whether the second ToD has drifted.

The method may include: transmitting a first uplink message including a system information request to a radio access network (RAN); receiving a first downlink message including requested system information from the RAN in response to the system information request; transmitting a second uplink message including an additional system information request to the RAN; and receiving requested additional system information from the RAN in response to the additional system information request.
Abstract: A first fabric abstraction layer couples to a data link layer and a physical layer of a network fabric device. The network fabric device is connected to other network elements within a network via at least one network connection, such as a fiber optic connection. A second fabric abstraction layer couples to the data link layer and an application of the network device. The second fabric abstraction layer provides an application programming interface (API) to the application. The API allows the application to generate configuration instructions for configuring the at least one network connection. Upon receiving the configuration instructions generated by the application, the second abstraction layer sends the configuration instructions to the first abstraction layer via the data link layer. The first abstraction layer then configures the at least one network connection to transmit data according to the configuration instructions.
Abstract: Systems and methods for synchronizing configurations between access point controllers (ACs) over N+1 network are provided. According to one embodiment, a first peer access point controller (AC) of a N+1 AC network sends a synchronizing request to a second peer AC of the n+1 AC network for synchronizing running configurations of the second peer AC. The first peer AC receives a running configuration package that contains the running configurations from the second peer AC and checks if the running configuration package is valid. If the package is valid, the first peer AC extracts the running configurations of the second peer AC from the running configuration package; and stores the running configurations of the second peer AC at a configuration repository of the first peer AC.
