  • Patent number: 12380507
Abstract: Systems, methods and apparatus for creating, analyzing and updating a property inventory are disclosed which include receiving, from a user operating a mobile device, a request to add a new item of property to an insurance inventory associated with an insurance policy, the request including information identifying the new item, at least a first image of the new item, and information identifying a location of the new item. An insurance inventory system is operated to add the new item to an insurance inventory associated with the insurance policy, the updating including computing a total current value of the insurance inventory including the new item. A coverage engine is operated to compare coverage limits associated with the insurance policy to the total current value of the insurance inventory to determine if the total current value is within a coverage limit of the insurance policy. A response is transmitted to the user based on the determination.

  • Patent number: 12354084
Abstract: Methods, apparatus and systems for verifying coin ownership are disclosed. In an embodiment, a coin service provider identifies an online session initiated by a wallet application and a next coin to verify, receives information associated with the next coin from a wallet application, determines that ownership of the next coin was transferred out of the wallet application since the last time coins in the wallet application were verified and that ownership of the next coin has not been updated in a coin data store. The coin service provider then transmits a prompt to the user device for the user to confirm that a transaction involving the next coin completed successfully, receives a confirmation message from the user device, confirms that the next coin was received by a recipient, and next updates ownership information of the next coin in the coin data store.

  • Patent number: 12339996
Abstract: A method of providing access to securely held data is provided. A user interacts with the service provider to obtain access to a service by using a device to provide a digital identifier to the service provider, without the digital identifier being made known to the user. At a later date the user wishes to retrieve securely stored data relating to their use of the service. However, because the user does not know the digital identifier, they are unable to identify themselves to the service provider using the digital identifier. The present disclosure provides a secure method for exchanging private identifiers, which allows the user to identify themselves to the service provider in order to gain access to securely stored data relating to the user's previous use of the service. The user can do this using the device on which the digital identifier is stored, or another device.

  • Patent number: 12165216
Abstract: To extract information from a customer's insurance card, an insurance policy recordation system obtains a scanned image of an insurance card and analyzes text in the insurance card image to identify labels describing insurance policy characteristics and insurance policy values corresponding to the insurance policy characteristics. The insurance policy recordation system compares the identified insurance policy values to a set of stored identifiers associated with various insurance plans. If the insurance policy values match one or more of the identifiers, the insurance policy recordation system may determine that the insurance policy values are valid and that the customer has the matching insurance plan. The insurance policy recordation system may obtain additional insurance policy information for the customer based on the stored information in association with the matching insurance plan.

  • Patent number: 12131378
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to machine learning based automated management of a user account. A computing platform may determine, via a computing device and based on historical user activity of a user, a pattern of the user activity. Subsequently, the computing platform may detect a deviation from the pattern of the user activity. Then, the computing platform may identify an anticipated transaction of the user. Then, the computing platform may retrieve, from a repository of user data, one or more user-defined preference rules associated with the anticipated transaction. Then, the computing platform may determine whether the one or more preference rules apply to one or more attributes of the anticipated transaction. Subsequently, the computing platform may trigger, based on a determination that the one or more preference rules apply to the one or more attributes of the anticipated transaction, an action associated with the anticipated transaction.

  • Patent number: 12093960
Abstract: The subject matter disclosed herein provides methods for detecting and mitigating fraudulent transactions conducted over a network. This method can access one or more data values associated with an online transaction between a first party and a second party. The first party can initiate the online transaction. The data values can characterize an identity of the first party and the second party. A score representing a likelihood that the online transaction is fraudulent can be generated. The generation of the score can be based on one or more models for detecting fraud using the data values. The score can be compared to one or more threshold scores. The online transaction can be authorized or rejected based on the comparing. Related apparatus, systems, techniques, and articles are also described.

  • Patent number: 12086874
Abstract: An intelligent alert system triggers potential cases based on a set of scenarios and sends the potential cases to investigators. After the investigation, the intelligent alert system records in a database the investigation results for each potential case, the associated set of scenarios that triggered the potential case, and the date and the time of such investigation. As a result, the intelligent alert system can gradually learn from the investigators and will automatically make decisions for some future potential cases with little human involvement.

  • Patent number: 12079810
Abstract: Aspects described herein may use a machine learning model to identify transactions likely to be remembered by a user and that may be used to generate challenge questions to authenticate the user. An individual may request an action related to a financial account. In response to the request, the machine learning model may determine a likelihood an authorized user of the financial account will remember one or more recent transactions. The likelihood of each candidate transaction may be compared to a predetermined threshold to determine a subset of recent transactions. Information relating to the subset of recent transactions may be used to generate one or more challenge questions to pose to the user. The user's responses to the challenge questions may be used to evaluate whether the user is the authorized user of the financial account or is a fraudster or imposter.

  • Patent number: 12079815
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to a graphical user interface (GUI) for editing classification rules. The graphical user interface may include a display of a modified threshold value for a classification rule, where values on one side (e.g. above) the threshold value indicate a first type of classification, and values on the other side (e.g. below) indicate a second type of classification. Machine learning techniques may be used to suggest a modified threshold value to the user, who may accept the modified value, or may provide, via the GUI, their own modified value, which can be different from a suggested value. Graphical indications of accuracy for the classification rule may be displayed.
