Abstract: Systems and methods for assessing and authenticating transactions. Some exemplary embodiments may authenticate transactions based at least in part on a comparison of a newly obtained electronic signature associated with a user with a previously obtained electronic signature associated with the user, where a payment instrument presented for use in the transaction is also associated with the user. Exemplary electronic signatures may comprise any information which may identify the user, such as browser fingerprints, computer fingerprints, IP addresses, geographic IP location information, information associated with a payment, and/or a typing pattern.

Abstract: A system and method for providing real-time insurance coverage and updating the insurance coverage for an aerial vehicle based on current flight characteristics and an operator profile. A current flight pattern is generated from the current flight characteristics and is compared to a flight pattern of another aerial vehicle that was involved in an incident to generate a current risk profile of the aerial vehicle. The risk profile is adjusted based on an operator profile for the current operator of the aerial vehicle. As the operator operates the aerial vehicle, an insurance policy is automatically adjusted in real time as the risk profile changes in response to changes in the flight characteristics of the aerial vehicle.

Abstract: A central claims adjuster control unit associated with an entity may oversee the assignment of claims cases to claims adjusters. The control unit may designate that a threshold number of cases may be assigned to certain claims adjusters. When new claims cases arrive, the control unit may monitor the workload of each of the claims adjusters and the threshold value assigned to any of the claims adjusters before assigning the case to one of the adjusters. If no adjuster is available, the control unit may store the case(s) in a memory until one of the adjusters becomes available. An additional feature of the control unit includes a user interface for modifying information about claims adjusters, including whether or not a threshold value is associated with them, the value of any associated threshold, and the reassignment of cases from one adjuster to another.

Abstract: A system for temporarily enabling an otherwise disabled payment account for use in a transaction is configured to perform operations including receiving, from a point of sale device, a transaction request associated with an account of a user, the transaction request comprising a transaction value representing a currency amount. The operations may also include determining that the user account has a disabled status. Further, the operations may include converting the transaction request into a personal identification code based at least in part on the transaction value. The operations may additionally include determining that the personal identification code matches a stored authorization code associated with the user account. And, the operations may include modifying the disabled status to permit successful processing of at least one subsequent transaction request associated with the user account.

Abstract: A system and method are provided for trading multiple tradeable objects. One example method includes displaying at least one combined quantity indicator representing a combined quantity associated with at least two tradeable objects, detecting an input associated with an order for a predetermined order quantity in relation to one of the combined quantity indicators, and allocating the order quantity between the at least two tradeable objects using at least one quantity allocation rule. In one example embodiment, a plurality of quantity allocation rules can be user-configurable, and different rules can be defined and applied in relation to different order types.

Abstract: In one aspect, the present disclosure relates to a method for crowdfunding credit card payments. The method can include: analyzing a plurality of credit card accounts to determine a first account that is eligible for crowdfunding; transmitting a notification to a user device associated with an account holder of the first account, the notification prompting the account holder to authorize enabling receipt of crowdfunded payments for the first account; receiving, from the user device, authorization to enable receipt of crowdfund payments for the first account; providing, to one or more donors, electronic access to recent transaction information for the first account; receiving a payment from a first one of the donors; and applying the payment to the first account.

Abstract: A system and method are provided for trading multiple tradeable objects. Abstract: Systems, architecture of the systems, and methods for generating alert message are disclosed. A user enrolls in an alert messaging service. Information that the user provides during an enrollment process are sent into a database. the user performs a transaction using a portable consumer device. Transaction data are sent to a computer apparatus. The computer apparatus accesses the database containing alert customization data. An alert message is generated based on the transaction data and the alert customization data. The alert message is sent to a user device. The systems, resources and processes responsible for performing the transaction and providing the alert messages are separated so that the transaction processing and alert generation are performed in parallel by systems in communication with each other.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for allowing a merchant to provide a consumer with a real-time, personalized offer to execute a consumer transaction in response to evaluating that consumer's credential information. The consumer provides the credential information while, or just before, the consumer selects items to purchase from the website. The credential information provided by the consumer can be a compilation of different information associated with the consumer and may take the form of a score. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a merchant receives credential information relating to a consumer, while the consumer is at that merchant's website. The merchant evaluates the credential information while the consumer remains at the website and makes a real-time personalized offer of goods, services or pricing based at least in part on that evaluation.

Abstract: An interface for trading multiple tradeable objects includes a price axis or scale. A first indication of quantities represented in a market for a first tradeable object is displayed in association with the price axis or scale. A second indication of quantities represented in the market for a second tradeable object is displayed in association with the price axis or scale. The first tradeable object may be different than the second tradeable object. Alternatively, the first tradeable object and the second tradeable object may be the same, but the indications of quantity may be provided from different sources, such as different exchanges.

Abstract: A system for tracking telephone calls made in response to advertising campaigns in electronic or other media is provided. The system permits an advertiser to associate specific and distinct telephone numbers with associated advertising campaigns. The system further modifies advertiser-provided information in response to the advertising campaign to which a potential customer responds, and includes the associated telephone number in the modified advertiser information. The system processes telephone calls made to the selected telephone numbers, and provides reports to advertisers of call data associated with the respective advertising campaigns.

Abstract: Tracking of data processing usage of a workload is initiated, within a virtualized environment, comprising one or more globalization characteristics, wherein the at least one globalization characteristic requires conversion by at least one globalization service managed by a virtualization service provider of the virtualized environment. The at least one globalization characteristic is detected. At least one usage metric of the data is tracked during data processing of the workload request. The globalization usage data is output comprising an identifier for the at least one application, an identifier for the at least one globalization characteristic, and the at least one usage metric to identify a particular amount of overhead during data processing based on the at least one globalization characteristic.

Abstract: In an illustrative embodiment, systems and methods for calculating risk scores for locations potentially affected by catastrophic events include receiving a risk score request for a location, the risk score request including a request for assessment of risk exposure related to a type of catastrophic event. Based on the type of catastrophic event, a data compression algorithm may be applied to a catastrophic risk model representing amounts of perceived risk to an area surrounding the location. In response to receiving the risk score request, a risk score for the location may be calculated that corresponds to a weighted estimation of one or more data points in a compressed catastrophic risk model. A risk score user interface screen may be generated in real-time to present the catastrophic risk score and one or more corresponding loss metrics for the location due to a potential occurrence of the type of catastrophic event.

Abstract: A comparative reporting system provides financial benchmarking and analytics. Integrating public reporting and enterprise software systems, raw financial information from external sources derived from a plurality of reporting sources can be ingested and processed to extract attributes and metrics. The extracted attributes and metrics can be data warehoused together with financial information from the enterprise software system. Analytics can be performed to generate a comparison between the enterprise and the plurality of reporting sources.

Abstract: The APPARATUSES, METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR REMOTE DEPOSIT CAPTURE WITH ENHANCED IMAGE DETECTION (hereinafter “RDC-Detection”) provides a platform for remote deposit by submitting captured images of a check via a user device, wherein the RDC-Detection transforms captured check images and/or entered check deposit information inputs via RDC-Detection components into deposit confirmation outputs. For example, in one embodiment, a financial institution may receive a check image captured by a scanner, a camera, and/or the like, and process the check image to extract deposit information to process the deposit request.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for determining an indication of a location of a first device in a vehicle is presented. A determination may be made of when a second device in the vehicle transmits a signal. When the second device transmits the signal, an indication of a direction of orientation of the first device may be determined. The indication of the direction of orientation of the first device may be affected by the signal being transmitted by the second device. The indication of the location of the first device in the vehicle may be determined based on an indication of a direction of motion of the vehicle and the indication of the direction of orientation of the first device. The indication of the location of the first device may include an indication of whether the first device is associated with a driver seat of the vehicle.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to receiving a signature (or other type of verification or confirmation) from a remote user. The present invention enables a merchant to send a signature request over a network to any device having a browser and touch screen or other means for receiving user input. An input area is displayed within the browser on the user's device. When the user inputs a signature, the signature can be routed over a network back to the merchant to provide authorization for a transaction.

Abstract: A method and system for payment processing comprises receiving sender information, receiving a fund transfer request that includes an identifier for a recipient, accessing an information directory based on the identifier to obtain account information for the recipient, and sending funds according to the fund transfer request to the recipient. The identifier may be in the form of non-sensitive/publicly available information, such as an E-mail address, a phone number, or other information. The information directory can correlate the identifier with a recipient owned bank account. The fund transfer may occur from two accounts within a bank or may occur from bank accounts at different banks.
