Abstract: Objects on a web page are associated with stored records indicating historical object usage. Associations between objects and records take into account discrepancies in object identifiers resulting from authorial edits and/or differences in browser assignment of object identifiers. An object having an object identifier that differs from that of a stored record by not more than a predetermined tolerance value, and that has other indicia that match the stored record, is considered to match the stored record. Reports are generated quantifying web page object usage, for example by superimposing color shadings or other visual indicia on a representation of a web page.

Abstract: A system and method is provided to assist a user in selecting, identifying, and handling email messages. A selection color module may provide for the display of color coding and selection highlighting. The selection color module may provide a secondary highlighting color to indicate messages related to a selected message. A category navigation module may provide one or more of the following: an indicator that provides the user with a number of items that are off the screen for a particular category, a command that causes the first entry for a category to be scrolled into view, a label to indicate the number of items in a particular category matching a particular criteria, and/or a control for scrolling between next or previous categories.

Abstract: A display method and apparatus for a navigation system which is capable of easily and quickly specifying a destination in the navigation system when using a “Point of Interest (POI)” method by preventing unwanted POI names or types from appearing on the navigation system. The method includes the steps of displaying a POI name list based on an instruction specified by a user, selecting an unwanted POI name in the POI name list, removing all POIs having the unwanted POI name or having the unwanted POI type from the POI name list, and selecting a destination in the POI name list from which the unwanted POI name is removed for route guidance by the navigation system. If necessary, the above steps of selecting the unwanted POI name and removing the unwanted POI names from the POI name list are repeated.

Abstract: An achievement recognition item may be ordered through an interactive, on-line network site that allows a potential customer to personalize and customize the achievement recognition item. Information that includes user-selected specifications for customizing and personalizing features of the achievement recognition item is received through the network site from the user. The achievement recognition item may then be produced in accordance with the user-selected specifications.

Abstract: An ESD protection device modeling method of modeling an electrical characteristic of an electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection device for simulating a circuit that include the ESD protection device, comprising the steps of (114) setting a parameter of at least one specific element that affects the electrical characteristic of the ESD protection device; and (116) modeling the electrical characteristic of the ESD protection device with the parameter of the specific element.
