Abstract: The present invention teaches a tamper-proof electronic bolt seal which contains a bolt assembly and a seal body. The gist of the present invention lies in the bolt assembly which contains a casing, and a circuit board elastically suspended inside the casing. When a burglar grinds a bolt head of the casing, an internal circuit of the electronic bolt seal is automatically disrupted so that the tampering of the electronic bolt seal can be detected.
Abstract: Systems and methods for filtering emergency broadcast messages. One embodiment is User Equipment (UE) that store rules for filtering emergency broadcast messages. The UE receives an emergency broadcast message over a paging channel of a mobile network, identifies a class indicator assigned to the emergency broadcast message, selects one of the rules based on the class indicator assigned to the emergency broadcast message, and determines whether the emergency broadcast message is authorized for presentation on the UE based on the rule. The UE then ignores the emergency broadcast message responsive to a determination that the emergency broadcast message is not authorized for presentation.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for delivering emergent event notifications to a user's Mobile Device. Map and Calendar applications are polled with correlations made between map locations and event information. Geo-Fence Boundaries are established for map locations which are inherited by their associated events. Penetration of a Geo-Fence Boundary by a Mobile Device running the Mobile Application triggers a search for events that are associated with the established Geo-Fence Boundary. Filtered Notifications of event options of interest to the user are transmitted to the Mobile Device based on pre-established and dynamic variables and whether the user can arrive at the event while it is underway. Upon selection of an event by the user, the Mobile Device provides route and navigation guidance to the selected location.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a service processing method and apparatus in a communication network. In the technical solutions provided in the embodiments of the present invention, the second mobility management network element can determine, according to the received indication information, whether to send a message to the HSS or HLR or whether to activate the ISR, so that in a communication system, it is ensured that a user equipment can carry out a corresponding service, and signaling transmission in the communication network can be further reduced, thereby improving network performance.
Abstract: A unified message delivery between multiple devices is disclosed. Sending messages through a local communications link, such as but not limited to at least one of a Bluetooth connection and a peer-to-peer WiFi connection, can lead to faster transmission times and reduced server load. When the local communications link is unavailable or not suitable, the messages can be sent through a network and a push server. In some examples, messages can be sent through both the local communications link and through the network and the push server. Duplicates of a received message can be avoided by utilizing indicators. In some examples, one or more devices can include queue(s) to ensure ordered delivery of a plurality of messages when a local communications link and network connection become unavailable.

Abstract: The present inventions are related to systems and methods for data processing, and more particularly to systems and methods for detecting patterns in a data stream. As an example, a data processing system is discussed that includes a sync mark detection circuit and a sync quality output circuit. The sync mark detection circuit is operable to identify a predefined pattern in a received data set, where identification of the predefined pattern results is asserting a sync found output, and where a preamble pattern precedes the predefined pattern in the received data set. The sync quality output circuit is operable to provide a sync mark quality metric indicating a similarity between the preamble pattern and the received data set within a region preceding the predefined pattern.
