Abstract: A system to deliver a digital good from a seller to a buyer is disclosed. The system includes an interface to receive a digital goods package from the seller, the digital goods package including the digital good and a buyer identifier. A digital goods database is provided to store the digital goods package, with an identifier extractor being provided to extract the buyer identifier from the digital goods package. The system further includes a notifier to notify the buyer, based on the buyer identifier, that the digital good has been received from the seller and is ready to be collected by the buyer, wherein, after having sent the notification that the digital good is ready to be collected, the system allows the buyer to access and retrieve the digital good.

Abstract: A method and system are provided for a user to determine the status of a shipment being transported by a carrier. The user performs a transaction at a web site, and chooses a type of shipment. A file in markup language includes at least one link to shipment tracking information, and this file is provided to the user and saved locally at a user device. The user activates the file to check the shipping status, which is then displayed. In this way, the user is able to access aggregated shipping information from a plurality of carriers. Also, the user is able to obtain pinpoint shipping status, if the user needs more details than merely finding out a checkpoint through which a shipment has passed.

Abstract: A system, application and product in data processing is disclosed for cross-dock and direct shipment processes. A default plant on an order is changed to a new plant in another country which is the same country as a customer but a different country than a selling organization. A cross dock partner function is entered to reflect a service provider location in a destination country. The cross dock partner is not a true vendor but rather a place holder for the service provider address used by a delivering warehouse to process the order and output appropriate sales documentation. The order is processed like any other order in the system.

Abstract: A method for systematically coordinating the collection, analysis and storage of payroll information provided to government agencies by government contractors pursuant to applicable regulations is disclosed. The method includes collecting payroll information from contractors, performing an automated compliance check on the payroll information collected from contractors, storing verified payroll information in at least one database, and performing an automated fraud check on payroll information. The method also includes notifying auditors of instances of possible fraud, notifying auditors of instances of non-compliance, sorting payroll information in the at least one database according to geographic and skill categories, and providing reports to agencies.

Abstract: An exemplary embodiment of the invention relates to a method for facilitating supply chain collaboration in a network environment, said supply chain including an enterprise and at least one supplier. The method includes generating and transmitting an unconstrained forecast to a supplier; receiving a supplier capability statement in response; and generating a constrained forecast utilizing the supplier capability statement. The constrained forecast is transmitted to the supplier which responds with a formal commitment to product a needed supply indicated in the constrained forecast. The method also comprises monitoring inventory levels at a replenishment service center by a supplier based upon a formal commitment; refilling inventory items at the replenishment service center; and facilitating delivery of the inventory items to the enterprise site by transmitting a pull signal to the replenishment service center whereby inventory items are delivered in response to the pull signal.

Abstract: A system and method is provided for utilizing proforma processing on adjustments in consolidation processes. The system comprises a proforma consolidation processor configured for consolidating at least one adjustment entry received from an adjustment journal. The proforma consolidation processor only performs consolidation on the at least one adjustment entry. The results of the proforma consolidation is then output to a pending journal. An inquiry module allows display of the pending journal along with current consolidation ledger balances. If the results of the proforma consolidation are acceptable, then a post module posts the pending journal and the at least one adjustment to the consolidation ledger.

Abstract: One aspect of the present invention is a computer-implemented method for processing remanufactured part cores. The method includes receiving manufactured part core inventory information. The inventory information can include an inventory forecast and an inventory level for a number of parts. The method further includes receiving a part number of a part to be processed. The part to be processed is a member of the number of parts. The method further includes receiving one or more business rules for processing the part to be processed. A part disposition for the part to be processed is determined based on the remanufactured part core inventory information, the one or more business rules and the part number.

Abstract: A method for managing complex payload using on a point of sale (POS) printer is described. The complex payload includes a plurality of commands. The method includes organizing at least a portion of the commands into a single entity. The single entity corresponds to more than one command, though need not contain all of the commands. The method also includes providing a payload identifier corresponding to the single entity. The payload identifier indicates a correspondence between the commands for the single entity and the single entity.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer-readable medium are disclosed for releasing stock requests to a storage facility, such as a warehouse. Such systems, methods and computer-readable medium may generate a condition record reflecting a predetermined set of conditions to be met by the attributes of a stock request, receive the stock request including one or more attributes about a stock item, determine whether the attributes of the received stock request meet the conditions of the condition record, associate a wave template of the condition record with the stock request if a determination is made that the stock request does meet the condition record, and create a wave object based on each stock request associated with the wave template. The wave object may then be released to the warehouse for fulfillment of each stock request associated with the wave object.

Abstract: An electronic point-of-sale authorization device is removably attachable to an auxiliary register system for verifying the identity of a user during point-of-sale transactions. The device may include a user interface, a microprocessor coupled with a memory, displays, fingerprint and card readers, an electronic pen and a communication link. The device may further include a mechanism for pivotally oscillating the housing and a mechanism for linearly reciprocating a telescopic support rod. A user interface may be communicatively linked to the pivotally oscillating mechanism and linearly reciprocating mechanism such that the housing may pivotally oscillate about a pivot axis while the support rod telescopically reciprocates along a vertical axis respectively. In addition, the housing may be freely rotated about the pivot axis while each of the support rod and the mounting bracket remain at static positions.

The method includes receiving at a first service provider an image file that includes a plurality of data values and assigning at the first service provider the image file to a form having a plurality of predefined field names, wherein each of the plurality data values belong to one of the plurality of predefined field names. The method also includes receiving at a second service provider the image file and an input form having a plurality of input fields corresponding to the plurality of predefined field names and associating at the second service provider the plurality of data values from the image file with the plurality of input fields.

Abstract: A method of configuring a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) middleware server is provided. The method includes calling a server form, using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, from an ERP server. The method also includes identifying at least one RFID middleware server using the server form, and configuring one or more processes, using the server form, to run on the at least one identified RFID server. The one or more configured processes are transmitted from the ERP server to the RFID middleware server in order to configure the RFID middleware server.

Abstract: A method and system are provided for comparing a focal product with several comparison products. First, selecting a focal product and several attributes relating to the focal product and the comparison products, standardizing and weighting the attributes, and determining for each weighted attribute an attribute score. Next, based on the attribute score, calculating a total score for each comparison product, and based on the total score, presenting to a user or purchaser the comparison products most relevant to the user's criteria.

Abstract: Data of a preset separation mark is inserted between journal data of one transaction held in an electronic journal file and journal data of one transaction next made. Journal data items which are accumulatively held in the electronic journal file are displayed on a display unit. Data of a separation marks inserted before and after journal data specified among the journal data items displayed on the display unit are searched for. Journal data lying between the searched separation marks is extracted from the electronic journal file.

Abstract: A Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) receiving method for use with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is provided. The method includes reading, at a receiving point, information from RFID tags included on delivered items, which are not recorded on an Advanced Shipment Notification (ASN). An item arrival journal including item arrival lines is generated. By calling a mapping form, the item arrival lines are displayed along with RFID tag information indicative of delivered items. Then, mapping form logic is used to automatically map at least some of the delivered items corresponding to the RFID tags to item arrival lines to thereby match delivered items with ordered items.

Abstract: Process accounting information is recorded, together with service request logs written by e-service applications. These two sets of information are aggregated and correlated, to generate usage metrics relating to resource usage for individual service requests. Such per-request information can be used as a basis for charging users making such requests. Services requests often simultaneously consume computing resources, in which case resource usage is proportionally divided between such simultaneous service requests.

Abstract: An accounting method and system is disclosed that provides for real time financial accounting of plant performance at a sub-plant level. A multiplicity of process variable transmitters is utilized to sense, in real time, the current state of the processes and process equipment used in a manufacturing plant. Sub-plant accounting modules utilize the sensed process data to calculate a plurality of sub-plant accounting measures, which are stored in one or more real time plant historian. The accounting measures are typically converted to a suitable format and subsequently stored in a production model accounting database where they are accessible to an accounting module.
