Abstract: According to an embodiment, an image forming apparatus includes a sheet conveyance unit that is configured to transport a print medium along a conveyance path. An antenna is configured to emit radio waves towards a predetermined portion of the conveyance path. A controller is configured to control the antenna to emit the radio waves towards the predetermined portion with a polarization direction set according to a type of the print medium being transported by the sheet conveyance unit. The print medium may have, for example, one or more wireless tags thereon or therein.

Abstract: Method and system for validating whether a user of a mobile device is a vehicle driver. For example, the method includes receiving telematics data and device interaction data generated by the mobile device during a vehicle trip, analyzing the telematics data and the device interaction data to determine driving instances in which the user interacts with the mobile device during the vehicle trip, determining whether the user of the mobile device is the driver of the vehicle during the vehicle trip based on the driving instances by using a classification technique, receiving positioning data associated with the mobile device within the vehicle during the vehicle trip, and validating the classification technique based on the positioning data and whether the user of the mobile device is determined to be the driver of the vehicle.

Abstract: This application relates to the field of mobile communications, and in particular, to a technical solution of sharing data with a nearby device by using a wireless communications technology. In a method for printing a photo, a mobile phone first selects a to-be-printed photo, then discovers a nearby device by using the foregoing related wireless communications technology, and displays the discovered device such as a printer or a projector on the mobile phone; and then a user performs a tap operation on the discovered printer, so that one-tap printing can be implemented. In this way, printing efficiency of an electronic device is improved, and user experience is also improved.
