Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a display device that displays a plurality of setting items related to an operation of an electronic apparatus, an operation device and a touch panel to be operated by a user, and a controller that sets a value of each of the setting items on a screen of the display device according to an input made through the operation device and the touch panel, initializes the values of the respective setting items, when a total reset mode is set through the operation device and the touch panel, and initializes, when an individual reset mode is set through the operation device and the touch panel, and resetting of the setting items on the screen of the display device is instructed through the touch panel, the value of the setting item about which the resetting has been instructed.

Abstract: A management device that manages an image processing device via a network includes a first acquisition unit acquiring application information for each application which is installed in the image processing device; a creation unit creating a task for monitoring an operation of an application in the image processing device; and a second acquisition unit acquiring resource information on resources which are required for using an application in the image processing device in accordance with the created task. An instruction on processing of a second type of application installed in the image processing device is executed when the acquired resource information satisfies predetermined conditions.

In one embodiment, the status reporting device includes a display, and a controller that receives progress information describing print engines of a printer at a print shop, generates a Graphical User Interface (GUI) for presentation via the display, determines an arrangement of the print engines at the print shop, presents the GUI via the display with a single status object for the printer when the print engines are in a first arrangement at the print shop, and presents the GUI via the display with multiple status objects for the printer when the print engines are in a second arrangement at the print shop. Each of the multiple status objects corresponds with one of the print engines.

Abstract: The present disclosure discloses methods and systems for adding one or more new images to an input document having one or more pages. The method includes receiving an input document from a user. Upon receiving the input document, a user interface having an option for adding one or more new images to the input document is provided to the user for selection. Once selected, one or more keywords are identified based on the content of the input document. Based on the identified keywords, one or more new images are searched via one or more sources and displayed to the user for selection. The user provides his input to add the selected images to a pre-defined area in the input document. Subsequently, the selected images are added to the pre-defined area of the input document, resulting in an output document, for further processing.

Abstract: A control device includes a main storage device, an auxiliary storage device, and a control unit. The auxiliary storage device is configured to store a first hibernation image and a second hibernation image, which respectively indicate a stored content of the main storage device.
