Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for generating electronic receipts (e-receipts) at point-of-sale (POS) terminals associated with a merchant at a retail location. The systems and methods include a near field communication (NFC) reader and an NFC-enabled payment vehicle. A POS terminal processes a payment transaction after an initial interaction between the NFC reader and the NFC-enabled payment vehicle. An e-receipt is generated when a second interaction is detected between the NFC reader and the NFC-enabled payment vehicle.
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for incentivizing logistically convenient delivery orders is disclosed. The method includes monitoring, by a computing device, delivery orders of users which include a pick-up location, a drop-off location, an estimated time of pick-up, and an estimated time of drop-off. The method further includes determining, based on the monitoring of delivery orders, a trending drop-off location and a trending drop-off time. The method further includes determining, based on the trending drop-off location, the trending drop-off time, and a current location of the users, a subset of users. The method further includes sending to the subset of users an incentive to place a delivery order.

Abstract: Systems and methods for dispensing consumable liquids are disclosed. An example networked system includes a server and a plurality of beverage dispenser stations. Each of the beverage dispenser stations includes a filler including a filler outlet configured to deliver a beverage into a container, an RFID reader configured to read an RFID tag fixed to a water filter through which water for the beverage is to flow, and a controller. The controller is configured determine a duration-of-use of the water filter and a volume of water that has passed through the water filter. Each of the beverage dispenser stations also includes a network communications interface configured to communicate the duration-of-use and the volume of water to the networked administrative server to track use of the water filter among the plurality of beverage dispenser stations.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for detecting and managing duplicate invoices is provided. The method includes accessing, in a digital storage device, invoices associated with a buyer computer. Candidate invoices having similar attributes are identified from the invoices and nodes representing the candidate invoices are created and stored in computer memory. At least two of the candidate invoices are determined likely to be duplicate invoices and an edge is generated between nodes representing the at least two candidate invoices, indicating that the at least two candidate invoices are likely to be duplicate invoices. A set of filters is programmatically applied using the at least two candidate invoices as inputs. The at least two candidate invoices are determined to be duplicate invoices based on an output of the set of filters and a notification is sent to the buyer computer indicating that the at least two candidate invoices are duplicate invoices.
Abstract: In some embodiments, a system includes one or more computers configured to implement by executing instructions on one or more processors a platform-agnostic transaction-related communication system. The transaction-related communication system includes one or more receiving modules for receiving a first item of financial transaction information from a customer-facing interface, and receiving a second item of financial transaction information from a merchant-facing point-of-sale interface. In some embodiments, the transaction-related communication system includes a point of sale server for rendering in a common internal format the first item of financial transaction information from the customer-facing interface, and rendering in the common internal format the second item of financial transaction information from the merchant-facing point-of-sale interface.

Abstract: Systems and restaurant locations for use with a mobile ordering system, and methods thereof, to provide at least more time-efficient pick up of orders or dine-in practices by customers than with traditional ordering, pick up windows, and dine-in practices.
Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to a digital tagging system (DTS) to facilitate collaborative production, transparency, and regulatory compliances. In an illustrative example, the DTS may generate a digital object associated with a physical object. The digital object, for example, may include a public attribute profile and a private data profile. For example, the DTS may cumulatively associate transaction data to the public attribute profile based on a first and a second set of predetermined rules. The DTS may, for example, store some transaction data to the private attribute profile according to a third set of predetermined rules. In some implementations, the DTS may generate a unique link associated with the digital object. For example, a user may access the public attribute profiles by accessing the unique link. Various embodiments may advantageously provide immutable historic transaction data of a physical object via from creation to present time.

Abstract: A system and method for tracking digital assets associated with video games. The digital assets may be in-game digital assets, such as in-game items or characters. The digital assets may be video game digital media assets representing moments of gameplay of a video game, such as video clips or images. The digital asset is created, and a distributed ledger tracking a history of the digital asset is created and stored across devices. A unique token for the digital asset can include a unique identifier and metadata identifying properties of the digital asset. Changes to properties of the digital asset, such as ownership, visual appearance, or metadata, can be identified in a request to update the history. A new block can be generated for, and appended to, the distributed ledger identifying the changes to the history of the digital asset. The new block can include hashes of previous blocks.

Abstract: A volunteer reporting system is provided. The system includes a computer server having a memory storing organization data and user data and a user computing device coupled to the computer server. The computer server may be programmed to automatically determine an accumulated amount of time the user computing device has been within the proximity zone during a designated period of time less the time the user computing device is outside of the proximity zone until within the proximity zone and sensed and the server receives another signal during the designated period of time. Additionally, the system may generate a report of the location, time and accumulated amount of time the user computing device was within the proximity zone in response to receiving a request for the report.
