Abstract: A system and method for tracking digital assets associated with video games. The digital assets may be in-game digital assets, such as in-game items or characters. The digital assets may be video game digital media assets representing moments of gameplay of a video game, such as video clips or images. The digital asset is created, and a distributed ledger tracking a history of the digital asset is created and stored across devices. A unique token for the digital asset can include a unique identifier and metadata identifying properties of the digital asset. Changes to properties of the digital asset, such as ownership, visual appearance, or metadata, can be identified in a request to update the history. A new block can be generated for, and appended to, the distributed ledger identifying the changes to the history of the digital asset. The new block can include hashes of previous blocks.

Abstract: An improved computerized e-commerce system, optimized for smaller merchants such as florists who often provide seasonal perishable gifts that require local delivery, and who often desire to form cooperative networks with local merchants offering related gift services, as well as other related merchants such as other florists in more distant locations. The web server based system allows merchants to easily set up non-static (time variable) websites that automatically provide schedule driven promotions. New products can be quickly uploaded from smartphones, and sophisticated time and location aware algorithms can compute accurate delivery costs and make such costs transparent to customers. The system may also include backend software configured to assist in product production, inventory control, product cost optimization, and product delivery optimization, management, and tracking.

Abstract: Various implementations directed to a system and method for product delivery using a fulfillment model are provided. In one implementation, a method may include generating a fulfillment database for fulfillers, where the fulfillment database includes inventory data and location data. The method may also include receiving order data from an originator, where the order data includes delivery data and product data corresponding to a transaction between a customer and the originator, and where the product data includes data corresponding to a product purchased by the customer from the originator. The method may further include determining optimal prices for the fulfillers using a pricing model based on the order data and the fulfillment database. The method may additionally include selecting a first fulfiller using a fulfillment model based on the order data, the fulfillment database, and the optimal prices.

Abstract: The present application describes a system of managing electronic receipts including a point-of-sale system, a unique identifier detection mechanism, and a server. The point-of-sale system is configured to register a plurality of goods and/or services, comprising a transaction receipt. The unique identifier detection mechanism detects a first unique identifier and a second unique identifier. The server is in communication with the point-of-sale system and includes a processor configured to register the payment of the transaction receipt as a function of the first unique identifier and a memory device is configured to store a database with a plurality of receipt-data storage locations. In response to the approval the payment, the point-of-sale system forwards the second unique identifier and the transaction receipt to the server and stores the transaction receipt within the receipt-data storage location associated with the second unique identifier.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a novel system for using a distributed register to conduct, manage, and store resource tracking data. In particular, computing systems may be used to perform assessments on and track various diagnostic parameters for a fleet of resources within an enterprise environment and store the data records within the distributed register. Data may be received in a periodic manner, event-based manner, or a continuous manner from on-board diagnostic components of the resources. The system may further comprise one or more distributed register interjectors which may trigger the addition of updated data records for one or more resources in the distributed register. In this way, the system provides for a highly efficient way to track and analyze resource data and forecast value and condition of resources belonging to the entity.

Abstract: System and methods for managing dynamic electronic documents on a private distributed ledger comprise establishing a dynamic electronic document comprising a first state object, wherein the state object references a prior approved first transaction; proposing a second transaction comprising as an input the first state object and as an output a transaction command to alter the state object as well as what parameters are required to validate the second transaction; validating the proposed second transaction; and updating the state object on a private distributed ledger to reference the second transaction.

The electronic processor is configured to create a first object in response to an input, the first object including first identifying metadata, receive an action, and apply the action to the first object to modify the first object into a second object and modify the first identifying metadata into second identifying metadata. The electronic processor is further configured to link the second object to the first object, receive a request to retrieve a history of the second object, and generate the history, wherein the history includes the first object, the first identifying metadata, the action, the second object, and the second identifying metadata.

The system further includes a data store for storing configuration information for enabling the operating system to interface with available physical system resources through the physical system resource interface associated therewith. A communication resource for interfacing with the operating system allows communication of the operating system with a central office for downloading configuration information to selectively enable ones of the available physical system resources to interface with the operating system through associated ones of the physical system resource interfaces in accordance with the configuration information and the predetermined service selected by a user. A plurality of configurations is stored in the data store, and each is associated with a predetermined service and one or more of the available physical system resources.

Abstract: The invention relates to the monitoring of products by means of active radio tags. According to the invention, packagings of products are provided with an active radio tag that detects at least one environmental condition and/or at least one packaging state, and which emits a signal at time intervals, which provides information about a unique identifier and at least one state in which the respective product is found. The signal is picked up by a receiver that extracts the unique identifier and the state information and transmits same together with location information to an external server.

Abstract: According to one or more embodiments, a settlement apparatus includes a processor. The processor detects a state of the settlement apparatus related to execution of settlement processing at the settlement apparatus using a plurality of settlement methods. The processor determines, based on the detected state of the settlement apparatus, whether there is a first settlement method among the plurality of settlement methods which cannot be executed at the settlement processing apparatus. The processor then notifies a customer of settlement method information indicating the first settlement method cannot be executed at the settlement processing or that another settlement method, other than the first settlement method, can be executed at the settlement apparatus instead of the first settlement method.

Abstract: Event-based replenishment simulation for an enterprise supply chain is described. On a per item, per node, per epoch basis, the simulation may generate a stream of action events based on forecasted demand, supply chain logic, and policy inputs that are applied to a current-run state of the supply chain in order to yield a stream of observation events. Requested metrics may be received, and the observation events may then be transformed to predict values for the metrics as output of the simulation. The simulation may be repeated for a given epoch using discrete demand values from a demand distribution, for a plurality of epochs, and/or across a plurality of items at a plurality of nodes. Resultantly, the simulation output can be used for predicting a future run-state of the supply chain across items and nodes.

Abstract: A method and system are provided to support a decentralized distributed ledger in which transactions are recorded by parties to the transactions without the use of a blockchain. A distributed ledger system provides a protocol framework that supports the development of protocol flows. A protocol flow is computer code that controls the performance of a transaction by the party or parties to the transaction. Protocol flows can be developed for different types of transactions. The distributed ledger system allows transactions to be proposed, accepted, and notarized by a notary and stored without the use of a blockchain ledger. The distributed ledger system can avoid the expense of the computational and storage resources needed to redundantly verify a transaction and store evidence on the many nodes of a blockchain distributed ledger.

Abstract: The present system is a payment network that implements an ecosystem in which banks can issue financial products (e.g. credit cards, debit cards, and the like) and customers are able to pay in any commerce without the need for card association networks. The streamlined nature of the system allows interchange fees to be substantially reduced over current systems. In addition, the system is all digital, so that physical security features are not required. The system provides an application for a customer that can be used on a mobile phone or other computing device, downloadable point-of-sale (POS) applications that can be used for commerce, and a web based POS application for commerce. Once verified, the portable device receives time entries and expense entries, for the at least one or more members of the crew. Business rules are applied to the time entries and expense entries. Once the business rules are satisfied, the time entries and expense entries are stored on the portable electronic device. When the portable electronic device is in proximity to the wireless communication infrastructure, the crew specific information is transmitted to server.
