  • Patent number: 9510583
Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to provide a pest-accumulating device and pest-accumulating method that can attract pests, such as chicken mites and the like, and keep the said pests therein, and that can be easily handled by anyone, and to provide a pest-inspecting device that allows the captured pests to be evaluated. A pest-accumulating device for accumulating mites such as chicken mites and northern fowl mites, includes an accumulating part 10 made of a material that allows a charged layer to be formed on a surface thereof. When a charged layer is formed in the accumulating part 10, mites, such as chicken mites and northern fowl mites, can be gathered in the accumulating part. When the pest-accumulating device 1 of the present invention is set up in a fixed place in a poultry house CH, mites such as chicken mites that parasitize chickens CK, and even mites such as chicken mites that enter into narrow spaces in the poultry house and chicken cages KG, can be accumulated in the accumulating part 10.

  • Patent number: 9497957
Abstract: An animal trap has a housing (2) and a support (12) extending within the housing. The support is movable between a first, set position and a second, fired position. A trigger (6) is integrally formed with the support (12) and protrudes from the bottom of the housing in the set position. Wire loops (4), which act to kill an animal, are fixed to the bottom of the support (12) and also protrude downwardly. In the set position of the trap, shoulders (18) on the trigger (6) are engaged beneath flanges (20) formed on the bottom of the housing. These shoulders (18) and flanges (20) form interengaging means to hold the trigger (6) and the support (12) in the downwardly extending set position against the force of two torsion springs (22) which are each affixed to the bottom of the support (12) and to the housing (2). The trigger (6) can be moved by an animal due to its flexibility. This causes the interengaging means to become unengaged and the support (12) to move explosively to its upper fired position.

  • Patent number: 9483966
Abstract: A 3D billboard display features a flexible banner having a display side, strips of reinforcement material attached to the flexible banner, and a flexible envelope fastened to the strips of reinforcement material and carried on the display side of the banner. The envelope forms an inflatable space that is fully or substantially enclosed by the flexible envelope, or a by a combination of the flexible envelope and the flexible banner. When inflated, the flexible envelope bulges away from the display side of the flexible sheet to create a three-dimensional display unit carried on the flexible banner. The resulting display is a one-piece shipment that is installation-ready, with no special modification or assembly required at the billboard site, where mere placement of the flexible banner on the billboard support structure and activation of an on-board inflation mechanism is all that's required.
