    Abstract: A baseball or softball glove includes a strap to provide a compressive force across the fingers of a hand inserted into the glove. The compressive force facilitates the snapping the glove to catch and secure a ball. Additionally, the ring finger and the pinky finger may be inserted into the same finger stall of the glove to compensate for the weakness of the ring finger in making the snapping motion. The glove is still given the appearance of providing a separate finger stall for each finger. A guide wall is placed across the entrance to the unused finger stall to maneuver the ring finger into the pinky stall.

Applying a pinching force upon the first and second curved walls toward each other drives the first wall and second wall further apart, to, in turn, temporarily widen at least one of the lower and the upper openings of the body.

The sword belt preferably includes a belt, a plurality of retention clips and a slide buckle keeper. The belt includes a strap and a retention buckle. The slide buckle keeper retains an end of the strap. The plurality of retention clips are attached along a length of the strap with rivets. The sword belt may be worn with the plurality of retention clips facing outward or facing inward toward the waist. Preferably, the flexible sword is inserted into the plurality of retention clips, before the sword belt is inserted into the loops of a pair of pants.
