  • Patent number: 11410704
Abstract: A digital content package includes first content comprising a video feature such as a motion picture or the like, and a user-selectable application configured to operate as follows. When activated using an icon off of a menu screen, the application records an identifier for scenes (discrete portions) of the first content that are selected by a user to generate a playlist. The user may select the scenes by indicating a start and end of each scene. The application saves the playlist locally, then uploads to a server. Via a user account at the server, a user may publish the playlist to a user-created distribution list, webpage, or other electronic publication, and modify the playlist by deleting or reordering scenes.

  • Patent number: 11379520
Abstract: A method and a device for controlling deformation on an image, and a hardware device are provided. In the method for controlling deformation on an image, a to-be-processed image is acquired; an audio file is acquired; the audio file is played and a first attribute value of the audio file corresponding to a current time point is acquired; an extent of the deformation on the image is determined based on the first attribute value; and deformation processing is performed on the to-be-processed image based on the extent of the deformation on the image. With the method for controlling deformation on an image, the extent of the deformation on the image is controlled based on the attribute value of the audio file, thereby solving the technical problem in the conventional technology that the special effects of deformation cannot be flexibly generated.

  • Patent number: 11335200
Abstract: One embodiment of the present invention discloses a process of providing a report predicting potential risks relating to an operator driving a vehicle using information obtained from various interior and exterior sensors, vehicle onboard computer (“VOC”), and cloud network. After activating interior and exterior sensors mounted on a vehicle operated by a driver for obtaining data relating to external surroundings and internal environment, the data is forwarded to VOC for generating a current fingerprint associated with the driver. The current fingerprint represents current driving status in accordance with the collected real-time data. Upon uploading the current fingerprint to the cloud via a communications network, a historical fingerprint which represents historical driving information associated with the driver is retrieved.

  • Patent number: 11282546
Abstract: Audio systems in which a primary audio device (28) communicates wirelessly with a second audio device (36) include a latency caused by the communication between the two audio devices. For example, a truly wireless audio device can comprise a first earpiece and a second earpiece. The electronic device (10) that is playing a media file transmits audio data to the first earpiece. The first earpiece then transmits a portion of the audio data to the second earpiece. This communication between the first and second earpiece causes a latency that the system can account for in order to synchronize a video playback with the corresponding audio playback on the wireless headset.

  • Patent number: 11231584
Abstract: An augmented reality display system is configured to direct a plurality of parallactically-disparate intra-pupil images into a viewer's eye. The parallactically-disparate intra-pupil images provide different parallax views of a virtual object, and impinge on the pupil from different angles. In the aggregate, the wavefronts of light forming the images approximate a continuous divergent wavefront and provide selectable accommodation cues for the user, depending on the amount of parallax disparity between the intra-pupil images. The amount of parallax disparity is selected using a light source that outputs light for different images from different locations, with spatial differences in the locations of the light output providing differences in the paths that the light takes to the eye, which in turn provide different amounts of parallax disparity.

  • Patent number: 11218686
Abstract: A three-dimensional image-capturing device includes a first camera, a second camera, a driving member and a sensing member. The second camera is at one side of the first camera and is capable of being moved laterally by the driving member. After depth-sensing and establishing orientations in an image, the driving member is able to drive the second camera to move relative to the first camera, to change a distance between the first camera and the second camera. Such relative movement allows a greater range of three dimensionality for face recognition and other purposes.
