Abstract: The technology provides ride hailing systems and methods. This can include receiving, by a ride hailing system, a ride hail request from a user's client device. The ride hail request includes information about a pickup or a drop-off to be scheduled. The process includes obtaining real-time information including fleet constraint information associated with a fleet of vehicles, and applying the received information and the real-time information to a ride hailing model that was trained on training data including customer preference data and historical fleet trip information. The process includes obtaining from the model a set of ride hail suggestions including pickup positions, drop-off positions, walking paths from a given pickup position to a vehicle, and/or walking paths from a given drop-off position to a destination. The process also includes sending the set of ride hail suggestions to the client device for presentation to the user.

Abstract: Some implementations disclosed herein reduce the chances of misuse and abuse of privileged postal mail processes by authenticating incoming mail that purports to be privileged mail actually as being privileged mail. Authenticating the postal mail may involve verifying the identity of a person sending a postal mail item and verifying that the person sending the postal mail item is certified, licensed, or otherwise titled as a professional of a type associated with privileged mail communications, e.g., an attorney, a public official, a physician, a psychologist, a psychologist, another licensed mental health therapist, etc. Authenticating the postal mail may involve confirming that the postal mail item sent by the privileged sender is the same as the postal mail item received by the confinement institution for the inmate.

Abstract: In one aspect the invention provides a computer readable medium bearing computer readable digital attribute certificate invalidation instructions for a member entity programmable device. These instructions facilitate receipt and presentation of a certification request and evidence information to a member entity, then solicit and transmit a pledge from the receiving member entity to receive an indication determining if the receiving member entity has been identified as a contracted member. If the receiving member entity is identified as a contracted member an assessment report is solicited and transmitted from the member entity. Assessment reports prepared by a number of contracted members are then received and presented to solicit and transmit a certification vote from the receiving member entity. This certification vote is used to determine if an attribute certification is to be issued and stored on a block chain database in response to the received certification request and evidence information.

Abstract: Systems and methods for generating actionable regulatory insights for predictive analytics are disclosed. A method comprises receiving, by an artificial intelligence (AI) model, a regulatory query from a client device. A determination is made whether the query requires new data retrieval or if existing data can answer the query. When the query requires new data retrieval, a Web search is activated, which includes prompting an external large language model (LLM) to provide a regulatory document that answers the regulatory query. The regulatory document is retrieved in answer to the regulatory query. The answer to the query is transmitted to the client computing device. The generated answer, regulatory content, and the regulatory documents are provided in a feedback loop to the AI model, to improve training data. The client computing device is provided an actionable regulatory insight, including a recommended workflow of tasks based on the recommendation regarding the regulatory content.

Dynamic rate card management allows organizations to optimize the number of rate cards to a manageable level wherein, for example, rate cards can be associated with the type of contract policy. In accordance with an embodiment, in order to accommodate the use of dynamic rate cards, a migration service or process can be used to convert/migrate subscriptions that were originally created under a first, legacy or former subscription pricing model, to conform instead with a subscription pricing service model, for use with the various systems, methods, and features described herein.

Embodiments herein provide a framework for dynamic pricing of one or more products in an e-commerce retail using at least one contextual Bandit (CB) technique. The framework provides an ensemble of contextual bandits for dynamic pricing in e-commerce. The framework amalgamates strengths of one or more CB models. The framework incorporates an ensemble layer to critically review immediate pricing suggestions, ensuring their long-term applicability, thereby balancing margin stability and customer satisfaction over time.

Abstract: Systems and methods for social graph data analytics to determine the connectivity between nodes within a community are provided. A user may assign user connectivity values to other members of the community, or connectivity values may be automatically assigned from third parties or based on the frequency of interactions between members. Connectivity values may represent such factors as alignment, reputation, status, and/or influence within a social graph of a network community, or the degree of trust. The paths connecting a first node to a second node may be retrieved, and social graph data analytics may be performed on the retrieved paths. Network connectivity values and/or other social graph data may be outputted to third-party processes and services for use in initiating automatic transactions or making automated network-based or real-world decisions.

Abstract: A control circuit obtains a first set of rules that define a conveyability range for containers as a function of conveyability constraints pertaining to an intermediary distribution facility. The control circuit also accesses conveyability constraint information for the intermediary distribution facility and generates a conveyability range for that facility by evaluating the constraint information against the first set of rules. The control circuit obtains a second set of rules that define an objective function that uses the conveyability range as a constraint to determine an optimal container pack size for the given item. (By one approach these teachings will also accommodate using at least two additional constraints, such as a so-called days-of-supply (DOS) constraint and a so-called pack-and-a-half constraint.) The control circuit then generates an optimal container pack size for the given item by evaluating the objective function against the conveyability range (and other selected constraints).
