Abstract: The disclosed embodiments illustrate methods and systems for managing allocation of transportation services. The method includes receiving real-time vehicle data of vehicles of a plurality of service types from sensors associated with the vehicles. The method further includes detecting an availability status of each of the vehicles based on at least the received real-time vehicle data and a service request for a vehicle of a preferred service type for travel by a customer, to determine available service types. The method further includes rendering, in response to the service request, at least the available service types that comprises at least a flexible service type, at a user interface of a customer-computing device. The method further includes allocating the transportation services of the service provider to the customer based on a selection of a service type from the rendered plurality of available service types by the customer.

The method includes receiving seat occupancy details of the one or more passengers associated with one or more seats, wherein the received seat occupancy details of the one or more passengers includes destination information of the one or more passengers. The method further includes retrieving a seating chart for a transit venue from a database, updating the seating chart for the transit venue based on the seat occupancy details of the one or more passengers, and displaying the seating chart, together with the seat occupancy details of the one or more passengers, on a computing device. The received seat occupancy details of the one or more passengers may be depicted on the seating chart by use of one or more distinct visualizations associated with the one or more seats.

Abstract: In some embodiments, the disclosed subject matter involves communication and negotiation between an autonomous entity or vehicle with a network of communication resources within a smart premises. The communication resources may include entry, landing or navigation beacons and a building infrastructure service. Negotiation for guidance, entry and other authorized tasks or services may be performed in a distributed fashion while en route or in proximity to a communication resource, rather than scheduled by a centralized server. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

Abstract: A computer based system for remapping prime class seat bookings is disclosed. The system remaps prime class bookings a floor class, or if the floor class is closed, into a higher, displacement class. Via remapping, airline systems, such as inventory management systems, revenue management systems, and the like, may better account for the true value of prime class bookings.

Abstract: A computerized system is provided for processing data in connection with systems for offering and sale of goods and services. In the computerized system, a server system provides for a seller device to provide item identification information and a minimum price. The server system makes the item identification information, and not the minimum price, available to one or more buyer user devices. Responsive to an indication of interest, the system provides the buyer user device with a series of sets of ranges of prices for selection, followed by a set of prices for selection. If the user selects a price from the set of prices above the minimum price, the difference between the minimum price and the selected price is allocated among buyer, seller, and server system, and a transaction proceeds.

Abstract: A computer system processes the electronic payment of tolls by storing, on a toll collection server, an accounting record for a mobile user account that is associated with a mobile user and a mobile computing device. A database having a plurality of toll locations and at least one toll that is incurred by the mobile user when the mobile computing device passes the toll location is stored on a toll collection server. An electronic communication containing a notification that the mobile computing device passed the toll location is received. The accounting record is modified on the toll collection server to deduct the amount of the toll from the mobile user account. The toll collection server is coupled to a toll authority server. An electronic payment is sent to the toll authority server in an amount that is associated with the toll.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a method, computer system, and computer program product for tracking occupancy on a transit system is provided. The present invention may include receiving passenger information for passengers boarding a public transit system comprising one or more cars; counting the passengers within each of the cars of the public transit system based on the location of each of the passengers; identifying, based on the location of each of the passengers, whether each of the passengers is seated or standing; and displaying, based on the counting and identifying of the passengers, the current occupancy of each of the cars.

Abstract: A request is received to provide shipping rate information to ship a package from a source location to a destination location. A plurality of accounts with one or more third-party carriers are searched across to determine a set of shipping rates to ship the package. A quoted set of shipping rates is determined from the set of shipping rates to be returned in response to the request.

Abstract: An artificial neural network trained to predict the availability of an unused duration of a parking space based on input features is executed. Input features may include at least a contextual situation associated with the second entity, a behavior factor associated with a first entity that has been using the parking space, geographical location and time, events occurring within a threshold distance from the parking space. The artificial neural network may be further trained to output a transfer affinity based on the predicted availability of an unused duration, the contextual situation associated with the second entity and the behavior factor associated with the first entity. Based at least on the transfer affinity, the second entity can be selected. The unused duration can be transferred to the second entity from the first entity. The transferring can also include storing a payment and associated computation as a blockchain node in a blockchain.

According to the present disclosure, sales representatives and prospective customers may have access to the relocation estimate system to see how a quote is being generated and what the resource allocation was. These parties may make suggestions or ask questions about how a quote was generated. These parties may correct or update a quote based on needs not known during an initial walkthrough. Based on information input by a user, the relocation estimate system may provide a quote in real-time.

Abstract: In a method of transporting objects with transport vehicles, a starting point, a destination, a starting time and an arrival time are noted as object coordinates in a space-time. A transport path network of possible transport paths together with average speeds on the possible transport ways is defined. Suitable transport paths of the possible transport paths between the object coordinates of the objects are determined and noted in the space-time. In the space-time, one of the suitable transport paths per object is bundled into driving routes of the transport vehicles, transport capacities and the actual locations of the transport vehicles of the plurality of transport vehicles being considered. The driving routes together with the object coordinates of the associated objects are transmitted to those transport vehicles involved. Then, the objects are transported in that the transport vehicles involved are driven along the transmitted driving routes.

In some examples, the method may include receiving content from a website that includes a listing for an object, identifying a period of unavailability of the object based on the content received from the website, predicting, via a machine learning model, whether the period of unavailability of the object is a blocked period that is not a result of a reservation of the object, the predicting being performed based on additional content visible on the website being input into the machine learning model, and storing an identifier of the period of unavailability and information about the prediction within a storage device.

Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product uses an application that allows people who have websites to track phone calls by how they got to the website. JavaScript may be loaded onto the webpage that tracks how a visitor came to the site, and then displays a phone number that is unique to that visitor. When a call comes in, the application determines which visitor called in, based on the number they dialed and other metrics. This allows the application to match the source of the visit to the phone call itself.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for controlling delivery of an item. An electronic order specifying the item is received. An item profile for the first item is retrieved. A first instance of positional data for the user and a pattern of delivery preferences of the user are determined. Embodiments determine a first location for delivering the package to the user, based on the item profile, the first instance of positional data for the user and the pattern of delivery preferences of the first user. Shipment of the first item towards the first location is initiated, and based on subsequent network communications with an electronic device associated with the user, a second instance of positional data is determined. Delivery of the first item is facilitated to one of the first location corresponding to the first instance of positional data and a second location corresponding to the instance of positional data.
