Abstract: A portable dining ware cabinet having a front opening for gaining access to the interior of the cabinet. Inside the cabinet is a dishware compartment designed for storing dishes in spaced, non-contacting relation, a glassware compartment for storing glasses in spaced, non-contacting relation and a plurality of additional storage compartments for storing additional items. The cabinet has a door at the front opening, and when the door is closed, the items stored within the cabinet are substantially immobilized and inaccessible.

Abstract: Disclosed is a dishwasher door and panel assembly including one or more decorator panels that are retained between two vertical flanges along the front of a dishwasher. The assembly includes a brace member and a trim piece that extend along the bottom periphery of the dishwasher door. The decorator panels are removed by releasing the trim piece from the brace member and sliding one or more of the panels out of engagement from the front of the dishwasher door.

Abstract: Disclosed is the apparatus and method for hanging and storing documents. The invention utilizes a substantially planar base, a hanging brace, a substantially planar hub longitudinally extending from the base and an arm having a first end adapted to slidably accept the inner circumferential edge of the hub. A document pocket is adapted to accept the arm such that the document pocket is suspended by the arm. The document pocket is sufficiently translucent to allow viewing of a document when positioned in the document pocket.

Abstract: A collapsible, portable event display counter if disclosed, whereby the supporting structure is easily folded into a unitary compact configuration. The support structure essentially comprises a central hub to which a plurality of elongated horizontal arms are radially attached. Each of the horizontal arms is provided with an upright shelf support for engaging the ends of encircling, removable shelves. Provision is also made for flooring and an overhanging umbrella or awning.

Abstract: A mechanism for use in controlling vertical movement of a surface, such as a table top, supported for movement between upper and lower vertical positions, including a counterbalance mechanism for counterbalancing at least part of the weight of the surface and/or a weight placed thereon, and a brake mechanism for releasably retaining the surface in a selected vertical position.

Abstract: A desk selectively used as a reading or computer desk is disclosed. The desk has a liftable monitor case that is movably received in the desk and selectively moves in vertical direction between monitor visible and nonvisible positions. In order to vertically move the above monitor case between the two positions, the desk according to an embodiment has an automatic case lifting device including a motor-driven pantographic link work. In the case lifting device, a movable nut along with a contact bracket engages with the output shaft of a reversible motor and horizontally reciprocates along the shaft by the rotating force of the shaft. The contact bracket horizontally moves between two positions where the bracket comes into contact with limit switches, respectively, to stop the motor. The reversible motor starts to extend or retract the link work when the keyboard drawer is fully drawn out or closed.

Abstract: A wafer holder is provided which more stably supports a transferred wafer and prevents interference between a wafer stopper and other elements of the wafer holder. The wafer holder includes a wafer guiding section having a centrally and inwardly inclined surface for stably guiding a wafer, a wafer support section formed at an inner side of the wafer guiding section and having a wider width for more stably supporting the wafer, and a pair of spaced-apart rectangular wafer stopper holes formed between the wafer guiding section and the wafer support section, and having a predetermined size that is wider in the circumferential direction of the wafer support section than in the radial direction. The wafer holder acts to prevent interference between the wafer stopper and other elements when the wafer stopper and the arm move up and down.

Abstract: An article of children's furniture is convertible between a table configuration and an easel configuration. The article of furniture comprises a support member, a work surface, and a handle coupled to the work surface for changing the configuration of the article. The work surface includes a pair of panels that are attached to each other by a hinge, the handle being attached to the panels at the hinge. The handle includes a locking portion for engaging the support member to lock the work surface to the support member in the table configuration. The article is convertible to the easel configuration by rotating the handle to unlock the work surface from the support member and lifting both panels to the easel configuration. A lever lock is coupled to the support member for locking the panels in the easel configuration. The article is convertible to the easel configuration by depressing the lever lock to release the panels, which are then spread apart and lowered onto the support member.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a universal cabinet structure receiving a television set therein. The cabinet includes a pair of adjustably positioned towers which define an adjustable television set receiving area between the towers. An adjustable bridging element is arranged between the towers to accommodate the adjustment of the respective towers. A fixed, one-piece front trim member is attached to the adjustable bridging element and extends at least a distance between the spaced towers.

Abstract: Guide members are carried on a drive motor mounting bracket in a vehicle power seat adjuster and receive a flex drive shaft extending between the drive motor and a lead screw mounted in the track assembly in a snap-in connection. The guide members stationarily support the flex drive cable from movement and are formed of a pair of spaced legs. Inner surfaces of the legs have an arcuate shape to snap around and tightly engage the flex drive cable housing.

Abstract: An overhead storage system with an illuminated sign includes a plurality of storage modules aligned end-to-end and, suspended from a ceiling. A sign panel is mounted to the storage modules in fixed space relation to the module, and a fluorescent light fixture is mounted intermediate the sign and storage module. Each module has a pair of rectangular end frame members. A shelf extends horizontally intermediate the frame members and a front panel, substantially perpendicular the shelf, forming a front section of each module and defining a storage capacity of the module. A door is pivotally mounted to the frame members parallel the front panel. Brackets mounted to each frame member adjacent the front panel have a bottom and top extrusion for receiving the sign. A fluorescent light fixture is mounted to the bracket between the sign and front panel. Additionally, a second light fixture is mounted to the bottom of the frame members to provide downlighting.

Abstract: A support stand with a dome-shaped cover for containing and housing a pan for holding water and/or food above a burner assembly. The stand includes an upper support ring which has an inner and outer ring and a channel integrally formed therebetween for receiving and supporting the dome shaped cover when the cover is opened or closed over the chafing dish. The support ring is formed from a single piece of metal and includes a C-shaped aperture approximately 50% around the diameter of the ring to permit the rim of the dome-shaped cover to pass freely therethrough and engage a stop which can be pivoted out of the way so that the cover can be partially or fully opened.

Abstract: A pallet for a wheeled item comprises a base frame having openings for receiving forklift arms, a pair of tracks mounted on the base frame for receiving the wheels of the item, and a pair of corresponding ramps mounted on the base frame and sloping laterally from the tracks so that when the wheeled item is shifted on the wheels from the tracks along the ramps, the undercarriage of the wheeled item comes to rest on the pallet. Wheeled items can be quickly loaded and secured on the pallet and can be manipulated with a forklift for storing wheeled items in stacked relation.

Abstract: A glove bag for use in removing or other hazardous material from pipes and other structures such as beams, which includes a double piece spreadable bag with a center portion that fits around the structure which is covered by asbestos or other hazardous material, flaps, glue and tape to seal the bag around the structure, gloves for the worker to put his hands to handle the hazardous material and provisions for introduction of a wand to spray the material with water.

Abstract: A display rack (10) for cassette tapes (12) and compact discs (14) comprising a support structure (16). A plurality of holders (18) are provided. Each holder (18) is capable of receiving vertically a plurality of the cassette tapes (12) and/or compact discs (14). A facility (20) is for pivotally mounting the holders (18) vertically in side by side relationships to the support structure (16), so that the front and backs of the cassette tapes (12) and/or compact discs (14) can be viewed. An assembly (22) is for preventing unauthorized removal of the cassette tapes (12) and/or compact discs (14) from the holders (18).

Abstract: A housing for an entertainment system is provided including a housing having a top face, a bottom face, a front face, a rear face, and a pair of side faces defining an interior space. The front face has a cut out formed therein with a recess formed about a top edge and pair of side edges thereof. The housing further includes an inner door hingably coupled along a side edge thereof a first predetermined distance from the recess of the front face within the interior space and further adapted to open outwardly thereby allowing selective access to the interior space. The housing further includes a pair of outer doors hingably coupled at outer side edges thereof to each side edge of the recess of the front face. As such, the outer doors are adapted to swing outwardly between an open orientation and a closed orientation with the outer doors residing within the recess and an intermediate space defined between the inner door and outer doors.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for fastening one component, such as a table top, to a second component, such as that which is intended to support the table top. The support component is provided with alignment and fastening members extending from it. The alignment and fastening members are functionally adapted to be received by complimentary recesses situated within the complimentary component. The extending alignment members are actuable to force movement of the table top in relation to the support component. Such movement results in engagement of the fastening members with fastening clips situated within the table top and secures the table top to the support component.

Abstract: A support assembly for a display shelf, includes an upright for supporting the shelf in an elevated position, the upright having a plurality of slots disposed therealong at vertical spacings whereby the shelf may be supported at a selected elevation, an upper hook engaged with one of the slots of the upright, an elongate member connected to the upper hook and extending downward from the upper hook, a lower hook connected to the elongate member at the position lower than the upper hook to engage the shelf, and a spacer interposed between the upright and the lower hook to retain the lower hook at a predetermined position with respect to the upright.
