Abstract: The present invention provides a garment comprising a soft, knit tank top with a built-in, floating bra. The bra cups and front bridge are constructed with the same fabric as the tank top. Bra cups connect to the tank top partially along front neckline and are double-layered to provide space for removable and inter-changeable sized inserts for different levels of coverage. A floating back panel is made with a single-layer of compression fabric to provide tension support and anchor the front. The straps of the tank top are double-layered shell fabric and connect at a top of the shoulder to wide, flat-lock stitched vertical back bra straps made with compression fabric. This tank top with built-in bra support is a bra replacement worn as a stand-alone top garment or a layering piece underneath outer layers.

The strap assembly is attached to the cups whereby the strap assembly adheres the cups to a wearer. Each cup has curved upper, lower, interior and exterior edges. Each cup has inside and outside surfaces. A patch is operatively associated with each cup. Each patch has a linear upper edge and curved lower, interior and exterior edges. Each patch has inside and outside surfaces. Stitching couples the lower, interior and exterior edges of each patch to the lower, interior and exterior edges of an associated cup. A linear opening is formed along the upper edge of each patch. Piping covers the upper edge of each patch. The piping is adapted to allow the patch to move away from and back toward the cup between open and closed orientations.

More particularly, the garment is suitable for active wear as it has in-built bust support comprising underwiring. The outer garment comprises an outer fabric shell configured to substantially cover a wearer's shoulders and to which a bust-support structure is secured.

Abstract: Garments for a nursing woman, which garments may be configured to enable hands-free breast pumping using a breast pump, include a brassiere portion with a plurality of at least partially overlapping material layers, which may be defined, in whole or in part, by edges that are at least substantially straight. The funnel of the breast pump may be received under and behind edges of the layers, and the edges may provide support to the funnel while the breast pump is used for milk expression.

Abstract: Aspects herein are directed to a bra with multiple pockets positioned at different locations on the bra to provide a variety of storage options. The bra comprises one or more portions comprised of layers of material where the pocket spaces are formed between the layers of material. The layers of material of the different portions are joined along their perimeter edges except for one or more select areas that form openings in communication with the pocket spaces.

Abstract: A strap adjustable brassiere has straps that are slidably engaged with a band rail extending along the wing band and/or a cup rail extending along the cup. The wing band rail extends in an incline from a side position toward the center back position and this enables the straps to be slid from one position to another along the band rail without changing the length of the straps. Likewise, the cup rail extends at an incline from a side location toward the center front location to allow the strap to slide along the cup rail without changing the length of the strap. The rail may be a bulbous extension from the wing band and the strap slider may have a cavity that extends around the rail to provide a slidable engagement.

Abstract: A breast supporting garment such as a shirt, bra or similar garment has a body section having a front bust section for supporting a woman's breasts. A band of elastic material is provided under the bust section for shape and support. Another band of elastic material is provided around the bottom of the garment and helps keep it from riding up. The bust section of the garment should be formed from two layers of fabric adhered with elastomeric adhesive. The fabric should be free cut knit fabric having a high level of spandex. The bra will be lightweight and free feeling, as if it is not there.

Abstract: A sound responsive garment for synchronized output of sound, light and vibration includes a shell. A power module is coupled to the shell. A microprocessor is coupled to the shell and operationally coupled to the power module. A plurality of speakers, a plurality of lights and a plurality of vibrators are coupled to shell and operationally coupled to the microprocessor. An input is operationally coupled to the microprocessor. The input is configured to couple to an audio source such that an audio signal from the audio source is relayed to the microprocessor. The speakers are positioned to emit the audio signal. The lights and the vibrators are motivated by the microprocessor to emit light and vibrations, respectively, timed to the audio signal.

Abstract: Systems and methods for adjustable straps are disclosed. In various exemplary embodiments, adjustable slider-like mechanisms are configured with one or more protrusions for inserting through corresponding slits in a garment strap, for example a brassiere strap. In this manner, adjustable straps may be fixed in place and resist slippage, leading to improved wearer comfort and reducing or eliminating the need for regular adjustment.

Abstract: An athletic support system for supporting breasts during athletic activities includes a sports bra that may be worn on a woman's chest. The sports bra has a pair of cups, a cup frame and a pair of shoulder straps. Each of the shoulder straps joins together between each of the cups to define a cleavage portion of the sports bra. The cleavage portion extends across the woman's cleavage thereby inhibiting the woman's breasts from falling out of the cups during athletic activities.

Abstract: A sports bra has base and cover layers of four-way stretchable material providing a first level of radial compression to the torso, a wide elastic band gripping the midriff to resist rotational and vertical motion of the bra relative to the torso and crisscrossed bands of elastic material spanning the back portion of the bra. Laterally-stretchable, vertically-shape-retaining foam panels overlap the base layer to support the breasts from below and power-mesh is sandwiched between the base and cover layers to increase radial compression of the breasts from above. The components all cooperate to limit bounce of the breasts during vigorous physical activity by the wearer. Adjustable shoulder straps and a zippered front are optional.

Abstract: A garment having integrated prosthetic breasts is disclosed. The garment includes an inner front layer, a middle component which includes at least one, and ideally two prosthetic breast members. The prosthetics are lightweight so that no elastic across the torso is needed. An outer front layer covers the middle component. The middle component is formed of a mesh layer which is sewn to the inner front layer only at the neckline and arms, and has an open bottom edge. The prosthetic breast members are attached to the mesh layer and provide shaping for mastectomy patients or other individuals having a need or desire for natural looking shaping.

The post-operative shower brassiere comprises a garment and a sealing strip. The sealing strip is applied to the interior surface of the garment.

Abstract: A compliant shin guard includes an outer shell composed of an impact absorbing material and an inner padding mounted to the inner surface of the outer shell. A plurality of vents extend through the outer shell and the inner padding, the plurality of vents being distributed across the outer surface of the outer shell. A raised channel extends at least partially along the length of the outer shell to provide rigidity to the outer shell.
