The lower body garment may comprise an outer garment and a control panel inside the outer garment, such that the control panel is not visible from the outside of the outer garment. The control panel may have a rectangular shape and line a full circumference of an interior waist of the outer garment. Further, the control panel may be anchored to the outer garment at a top edge seam of the outer garment. In certain aspects, the lower body garment may be a legging, pant or skirt.

Abstract: A hip protector system includes an inflatable airbag, a proximity sensor to measure a distance to a point on the ground surface, a gyro to provide spatial orientation of the waist plane of the user, an accelerometer to determine the vertical acceleration of the waist plane of the user and a micro-controller unit. The micro-controller unit calculates a height based on proximity measurement and spatial orientation, computes values of downward velocity based on a change of the height in time and based on the vertical acceleration integrated over time and correlates the downward velocities to validate a true height in time to the ground surface. The airbag is inflated to protect the user responsive to the true height.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a protective guard accessory for protecting the cuff of a pant leg. In a version of the invention, the clothing accessory generally comprises a cuff protection sleeve comprising an annular wall portion with an upper enlarged portion and an inwardly curved bottom lip defining a circular channel. The circular channel adapted to receive a respective bottom cuff of the pants. In addition, an inner fastening ring is provided comprising an external annular channel configured to couple with the upper enlarged portion of the cuff protection sleeve. Wherein, while in use, the fabric of the pants is pinched or sandwiched between the top enlarged portion of the cuff protection sleeve and the inner fastening ring while simultaneously engaging the cuff within the circular channel. Thereby, engaging the clothing accessory with the lower end portion and bottom cuff of the respective pant leg and providing a barrier between the pant leg and respective shoe.

Abstract: A sport bra having an adjustable underband tightening assembly is provided herein. The sport bra comprises a front portion having a pair of breast covering structures, a pair of shoulder straps, and a front underband segment comprising a first wing extending away from a first side of the front underband segment and terminating in a first free end and a second wing extending away from a second side of the front underband segment and terminating in a second free end. The sport bra further comprises a back portion having a central body portion, a pair of shoulder straps secured to the shoulder straps of the front portion, and a back underband segment unaffixed to the front underband segment in an un-worn configuration.

Abstract: Existing brassieres fail to provide adequate comfort and lift to many women with breasts of size C cup and larger. The invention is a cushiony pad which is attached via a flap to the inside of a brassiere cup. When donning the brassiere, the woman inserts the pad into the inframammary fold, between the underside of the breast and the chest. The pad acts as a platform for the breast, allowing the breast to rest on top of it, lifting the breast up and providing comfort and support.

Abstract: Making a control top garment includes forming a pocket bag from a first fused composite material and a second material, the first fused fabric composite having stretch and recovery properties in at least one direction thereof; and attaching the pocket bag to an garment by (i) attaching a top side of the pocket bag to a waistband of the garment; (ii) attaching a first side of the pocket bag to a side of the garment; and (iii) attaching a second side of the pocket bag adjacent a connector of the garment.

The inner part has an upper portion for covering and compressing at least a portion of a mid-section of a wearer above a waistline of a wearer and a lower portion for covering a groin of a wearer and limiting upward movement of the inner part. The outer part is attached to the inner part and overlaps at least a portion of the lower portion.

Abstract: A shapewear or activewear garment that includes stays carried by the back fabric panel of the garment. In this regard, the stays act as anchors to keep the garment in place. Further, the stays provide tension that pulls the front fabric panel of the garment such that the front panel shapes and smoothes the wearer's midsection and or provides support and also provides resistance to shift when the garment is worn such that the garment does not ride up or down on the wearer.

Abstract: An undergarment including a main body having a back panel and a pair of front panels extending from opposite sides of the back panel with the front panels interconnectable to one another such that the main body defines a continuous structure. A pair of shoulder straps extend from an upper edge of the main body with each shoulder strap including a rear strap portion and a front strap portion which are interconnectable to one another such that the shoulder straps define an arm hole on each side of the undergarment. Each armhole has a lowermost point along the main body. An underbust band extends along a lower edge of the main body. Each strap front portion has a length from a free end thereof to the lowermost point which is approximately equal to a total height defined by a height of the main body at the lowermost point plus a height of the underbust band.

Abstract: An adjustable support brassiere comprises traditional bra elements—a bra band with closure; breast cups; and respective shoulder straps. Adjustability may comprise inner support cups having opposite ends being selectively attached on each breast cup, and a respective support strap being secured to each inner support cup, with a distal end of the support strap secured to an adjustment clip, which may releasably secure a portion of the shoulder strap. Adjustably securing different portions of the shoulder strap causes lifting and reconfiguring of the inner support cup to produce a desired amount of substantially vertical lifting to the woman's breast(s) in one embodiment, which is generally healthier for breast tissue than the typical inward displacement. Adjustments may be made by a woman throughout the day to alter her appearance as desired. Alternative embodiments permit lifting as well as inward/outward displacement, and may therefore serve as a minimizer.

Abstract: Aspects herein are directed to a bra with multiple pockets positioned at different locations on the bra to provide a variety of storage options. The bra comprises one or more portions comprised of layers of material where the pocket spaces are formed between the layers of material. The layers of material of the different portions are joined along their perimeter edges except for one or more select areas that form openings in communication with the pocket spaces.

Abstract: A functional garment that includes a first single breast supporting device is set forth herein. In some cases, the supporting device includes a first breast cup, a first shoulder loop, and a first breast cup connector that includes a first piece of material extending along a lateral portion of the first breast cup, with the first breast cup connector connecting, and being at least partially disposed between, the first breast cup and the first shoulder loop. In some cases, the supporting device further includes a first cross strap that is configured to extend around a first portion of a user's torso, the first cross strap being configured to attach to a first portion of the first breast cup and to at least one of the first breast cup connector and the first shoulder loop. A lower edge of an annular band is coupled to the waistband. The annular band extends upwardly from the waistband and is body-shaping. The annular extends around the abdomen and lower back of the user from the waist to near the xiphoid of the user. The improvement is the annular band coupled to and extending upwardly from the waistband such that the annular band is configured to reshape the contours of the midsection of the user.

The front panel is constructed of a first piece of non-stretch fabric having a larger degree of mechanical ease in a first direction than a second direction, the rear panel is constructed of a second piece of non-stretch fabric having a larger degree of mechanical ease in the first direction than the second direction, the left side panel is constructed of a first piece of stretch fabric having a larger degree of elastic stretch in the first direction than the second direction, and the right side panel constructed of a second piece of stretch fabric having a larger degree of elastic stretch in the first direction than the second direction.

Abstract: A clothing support apparatus integrated within an article of clothing and which provides ample support for expectant mothers while providing them relief from certain discomforts associated with pregnancy. The apparatus includes a set of stretchable wings which extend from a rear or back section of the apparatus to wrap around and under the expectant mother's belly, thereby providing support. Aspects of embodiments of the present invention allow for continued use of the clothing apparatus all through the expectant mother's pregnancy.

Adjustability may comprise left and right inner support cups having inner ends pivotally attached, respectively, to the left and right breast cups, and a respective support strap having a bottom end attached at a distal (outer) end of each inner support cup, with a top end of each support strap fixedly secured to a clamp member. Each of the left and right clamp members may be releasably secured to a infinite number of positions of the shoulder strap, to cause individual lifting and reconfiguring of the left and right inner support cups to produce a desired amount of lifting to each of the woman's breasts. Adjustments may be made by a woman throughout the day to alter her appearance as desired.
