Abstract: A unit dose detergent pack includes a pouch and a detergent composition encapsulated within the pouch. The detergent composition includes a surfactant component including an alcohol ethoxy sulfate having a C8-C20 backbone that is ethoxylated with from about 1 to about 10 moles of ethylene oxide and is present in an amount of from about 5 to about 30 weight percent actives, water present in a total amount of from about 5 to about 30 weight percent, and a particular tertiary amine present in an amount of at least about 0.5 weight percent actives. The detergent composition has a viscosity of less than about 5,000 cps when diluted with additional water at about a 2:1 weight ratio of the detergent composition:water. The block copolymer is incorporated as a rheology modifying agent.
Abstract: The need for an acidic liquid hard surface cleaning composition which provides improved removal of grease residues, while still being effective at removing limes-scale, is met by formulating an acidic liquid hard surface cleaning composition with an alkyl pyrrolidone, and additional nonionic surfactant selected from the group consisting of: alkoxylated nonionic surfactant, alkyl polyglucoside, and mixtures thereof, while limiting the amount of anionic surfactant present.
Abstract: A solid hard surface cleaning composition suitable for replacing liquid formulations while providing at least equivalent or enhanced cleaning performance, including at lower concentrations, is provided. The solid hard surface cleaning compositions include alkali metal carbonate alkalinity source(s), aminocarboxylic acid chelant(s), amphoteric surfactant(s), polyacrylate polymer(s) and anionic surfactant(s). The solid hard surface cleaning compositions can include additional functional ingredients, such as corrosion inhibitors. The solid hard surface cleaning compositions do not include hydroxide alkalinity and beneficially provide stable ready-to-use formulations that are safe for contact without the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and are compatible with soft metals.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present methods and solutions that operate to prepare a metal surface to be ready for coating or primer. The surface is operated on using mechanical or pressure impingement operation in conjunction with application of medium comprising dimethylethanolamine (DMEA) and water (DMEA diluted in water). Embodiments of the present invention can perform the wash or decontamination to leave a clean surface that provides excellent performance in durability and rust resistance after being coated or primed. Other cleaning chemicals if added may reduce the performance and interfere with the desired objective. Other surfaces are contemplated.
