Abstract: A method and composition for removing contaminant material from industrial equipment are disclosed herein. The method includes providing a solvent composition having methyl soyate, an aprotic solvent such as dimethyl sulfoxide, an additional solvent, and a cationic surfactant. The method also includes contacting the contaminant material with the solvent composition and allowing the solvent composition to react with the contaminant material such that at least a portion of the contaminant material is no longer attached to the industrial equipment.
Abstract: Disclosed are water-based personal cleansing compositions having an isotropic surfactant phase, the compositions containing (a) an amidoamine surfactant, (b) cleansing surfactant, (c) water, and (d) protonating agent, the cleansing surfactant containing 85 to 100% by weight of a combination of betaine surfactant and taurate surfactant in particular ratios; also disclosed are methods of thickening such compositions by the addition of electrolyte.

Abstract: A cleaning composition for removing post-etch or post-ash residues from a semiconductor substrate, and a cleaning method using the same are disclosed. The cleaning composition can comprise water; a fluorine compound; an alkanolamine compound; and a corrosion inhibitor. The corrosion inhibitor is a mixture of a first corrosion inhibitor and a second corrosion inhibitor. When using the cleaning composition, it is possible to efficiently remove the residues of various aspects existing on a surface of the substrate or the semiconductor device without damage to a substrate or a semiconductor device including various metal layers, insulating layers, etc. Accordingly, when a highly integrated and miniaturized semiconductor device is manufactured, it may be advantageously applied to the removal of residues generated on the surface of the substrate or the semiconductor device.

Abstract: Stabilized peroxide-containing compositions stabilized with urea and urea/chelator stabilizer blends are provided. The compositions are particularly suitable for, but not limited to, cleaning applications on surfaces within food and beverage industries which may require the use of materials that are acceptable for incidental food/food products/feed contact. Further, the stabilized compositions are particularly suitable for applications requiring materials that are generally regarded as safe (GRAS) or for applications where non-GRAS materials must be minimized. Abstract: General purpose liquid deliming compositions are disclosed. The compositions include acids, surfactants, and pH modifiers and are adjusted to a pH of 2 to 7. The composition may be used without personal protective wear or transportation restriction and demonstrate similar lime removal to other traditional lime removal compositions which are extremely low in pH and require protective gear by the user. The compositions also do not require the use of chelants, or builders for effective cleaning. Methods of using the deliming compositions are also disclosed.
Abstract: Hard surface, in particular glass, cleaners having an ease in wipe-out while providing good cleaning with a streak-free, glossy shine are described. The cleaner includes at least one fluorosurfactant including a fluorinated functional group with 2 to 6 carbon atoms, and a hydrophilic moiety; at least one non-fluorinated surfactant; a combination of solvents; a combination of cleaning agents; and water.
Abstract: Cleaning systems employing detergent compositions in combination with builders comprising alkalinity and chelants are provided. The detergent compositions include amine oxide surfactant and alcohol ethoxylate surfactant blends having a mixture of chain lengths and branching provided. The detergent compositions are particularly efficacious for flexible cleaning systems for cosmetic and other soils as they provide the benefit of separate dosing of surfactants in the detergent from alkalinity sources in a builder composition. Methods of using the detergent compositions and/or the cleaning systems are provided.

Abstract: The present invention comprises a hard surface cleaning composition including an environmentally friendly alkyl amide solvent, derived from renewable bio-based resources that works at least as well as d-limonene.
