Abstract: The lighted telescopic viewing apparatus inexpensively provides for visual acuity in viewing remote or distant objects is disclosed. The telescoping capability and direct object lighting further enhance viewing. The fiber optics provide for accurately transmitting light to viewed objects and images of viewed objects, respectively. Light and viewing is direct, and not a mirror image. The viewer on the apparatus case further provides a pivotal viewing field.
Abstract: A lighting device (10) is provided which uses multiple LEDs to illuminate a target area. The lighting device includes first and second light emitting diodes (24, 26) spaced apart from each other. A first convex magnifier lens (34) is arranged in a light path of the first light emitting diode (24) for focusing light onto a target area. A second convex magnifier lens (36) is arranged in a light path of the second light emitting diode (26) for focusing light onto the same target area. The first and second magnifier lenses (34, 36) are supported relative to the first and second light emitting diodes (24, 26), respectively, by a cover (32).
Abstract: A light fixture or troffer for directing light emitted from a light source toward an area to be illuminated, including a reflector assembly within which the light source is positioned and a lens assembly detachably secured to a portion of the reflector assembly such that a lens of the lens assembly overlies the light source and such that substantially all of the light emitted from the light source passes through the lens assembly. In one example, the lens includes a curved prismatic surface that can be oriented toward or away from the underlying light source.

Abstract: A lamp holder includes a supporting part and a holding part. The supporting part includes a guiding hole for guiding a wire of a lamp. Abstract: A backlight assembly having no step difference at a rear portion thereof includes a light generating unit and a receiving member. The light-generating unit includes a connecting member, a light source and a light guiding member. An external signal is transmitted to the light source through the connecting member, and a light is generated from the light source in response to the external signal. The light generated from the light source is guided to a display panel via the light guiding member. The receiving member includes a receiving space for receiving the light source and the light guiding member, and a receiving portion for receiving the connecting member. The receiving portion is formed on a rear surface of the receiving member. Accordingly, a thickness increase due to a step difference at the rear surface of the backlight assembly is sufficiently prevented.

Abstract: A lamp system has a first light source which radiates light of a first chromaticity coordinate and a second light source which radiates light of a second chromaticity coordinate. The lamp system also includes an optical component for additively mixing the light of the two light sources. Abstract: A lighting box has a housing with an open front and open rear and a bar such as a standard schedule 40 pipe or 1½? or 1?? pipe extending horizontally across the housing. Multiple lights are mounted on the bar and positioned to send light out the front of the box. The box also has a diffusion element (frame) disposed proximate its front end, and even may have multiple elements including having one element at an angle. The element or elements receive the light from the lighting instruments and diffuse it to provide a soft projected light from the box. In accordance with one aspect of the invention, this light may be used to provide diffused light as part of the key lighting for a stage or set, and may provide such soft projected lighting from a front (downstage) of the stage or set. The box may also have a soft shell, may hang overhead, on a stand or by a rotatable yoke, and may have lights fixed therein. The box may also have a rear cover.
Abstract: An outdoor umbrella includes an awning, a main frame, an illumination system, and an illumination wiring arrangement. The illumination wiring arrangement includes a first wiring unit including a connector plug provided at a first connector end of a first post of the main frame to electrically connect to the illumination system. The second wiring unit includes a power socket which is electrically extended from a power source and is extended through a second post of the main frame at the second connector end thereof to electrically connect to the connector plug, wherein when the first post is coupled with the second post, the power socket is free to move within the second post to keep intact an electrical connection between the power socket and the connector plug even when vibration occurs at the main frame.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an illumination device for vanity mirrors of motor vehicle sun visors. The illumination device does not use cables as conducting elements nor external mechanical elements such as switches, simplifying the assembly operations. A conducting laminar element performs all of these functions: in addition to being the conducting means it acts as a switch for the device. This device is actuated by a cover that covers the mirror and is operated at the user's will. The device is characterised in that it is only illuminated in one position, in which the cover is not covering the mirror and the visor is in a shading position.

The light guide collects light, directs the light toward the light-reflecting portion and illuminates at least one of the indicia.
