Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for determining and communicating prescription benefit coverage information to a prescriber of the product, service, or medication. A prescription benefit check request may be received by the service provider computer from a healthcare provider computer for the prescriber of the product, service, or medication. The service provider computer may format a prescription request for the prescribed product, service, or medication and transmit the prescription request to a pharmacy claims processor computer for processing. The service provider computer may receive a prescription response that includes a determination of the prescription request from the pharmacy claims processor computer.

Abstract: A payment processing method and method and an intelligent device are provided. The method may include: intercepting a payment request in a target application program (application, APP) in the intelligent device, the payment request including a payment parameter; obtaining attribute information of the target application program by using a preset executable file; generating a graphic code according to the payment request; outputting the graphic code, so that a terminal device submits the payment parameter to a payment server by scanning the graphic code and reports account information to the payment server, and the payment server performs payment processing according to the payment parameter and the account information and returns a payment result; and feeding back the payment result to the target application program according to the attribute information of the target application program. The method can simplify a payment process and improve the payment efficiency.

Abstract: An improved technique involves including implicit feedback inferred from a fraud analyst's actions into a fraud detection model tuning process. Along these lines, as part of a tuning process, an authentication server sends electronic transactions carrying a certain amount of risk to a case management center in which fraud analysts investigate the electronic transactions to verify whether the transactions are fraudulent or non-fraudulent. In addition to receiving this explicit feedback from the case management center, however, the authentication server also receives implicit feedback indicative of attributes of the fraud analysts themselves. The authentication server then inputs these implicit feedback parameter values into a fraud detection model tuning engine that tunes the fraud detection model.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method are provided for an online jury research system which enables a multiplicity of end-users to build surrogate jury surveys by way of a communications network, such as the Internet. The online jury research system comprises a survey builder which enables the end-users to upload information for which responses of surrogate jurors are desired and to assemble surrogate jury surveys. The uploaded information may include questions, videotaped opening or closing statements, depositions, exhibits, and graphics. A host site is accessible to the end-users by way of the communications network and provides access to a jury services package. In an embodiment, the survey services package comprises services operated by one or more third-party service providers. The online jury research system provides the surrogate jury survey to selected respondents and then compiles the results for review by the end-users.

Abstract: Methods and systems for monitoring use and determining risks associated with operation of a vehicle having one or more autonomous operation features are provided. According to certain aspects, operating data may be recorded during operation of the vehicle. This may include information regarding the vehicle, the vehicle environment, use of the autonomous operation features, and/or control decisions made by the features. The control decisions may include actions the feature would have taken to control the vehicle, but which were not taken because a vehicle operator was controlling the relevant aspect of vehicle operation at the time. The operating data may be recorded in a log, which may then be used to determine risk levels associated with vehicle operation based upon risk levels associated with the autonomous operation features. The risk levels may further be used to adjust an insurance policy associated with the vehicle.

Abstract: A method for developing, evaluating, and validating investment glide paths for an investment event having an expected first duration includes: generating, with at least one processor, execution logic associated with at least one delayed onset investment glide path associated with the investment event and having the first duration, the at least one delayed onset investment glide path including: (1) an extended fixed allocation glide path, the extended fixed allocation glide path at a beginning of the delayed onset investment glide path, and (2) a reallocation glide path, the reallocation glide path immediately following the extended fixed allocation glide path and continuing for a remainder of the first duration; and automatically initiating, with at least one processor, execution of the at least one delayed onset investment glide path according to the execution logic.

Abstract: A method for securely launching a temporary financial system nested within a permanent financial system, for a locale impacted by a disaster event is provided. The method may include receiving profile-data associated with a new-quasi-user. The method may include storing the profile-data in an account profile. The method may further include analyzing the profile-data. The method may further include authenticating the new-quasi-user based on the analyzing of the profile-data. The method may further include enabling the new-quasi-user, access to a subset of services from the permanent financial system. The enabling may include simulating the temporary financial system to mimic the appearance of the permanent financial system. The method may further include filtering and separating, via a secure information filter, the temporary system from the permanent system thereby limiting the new-quasi-user, access to the permanent financial system.

Abstract: A computing system and platform includes an event subsample processor and a risk item subsample processor to generate approximations when undertaking processing to model complex events in order to minimize CPU, memory and storage overhead. The event subsample processor approximates values associated with events based on a measure of the importance of select events; the risk item subsample processor groups similar event/risk item pairs and approximates values using representatives from each group.

Abstract: A usage frequency attribute is determined for each biometric feature in a biometric feature database. The usage frequency attribute indicates a matching success frequency of matching the biometric feature to a user having the biometric feature. The biometric features of the user are sorted in descending order of the usage frequency attribute. The sorting is based on a descending order of the usage frequency attributes for a given user. The biometric features in the biometric feature database are stored in descending order. The storing includes providing prioritized access to the biometric feature having a highest value of the usage frequency attribute so that the biometric feature is selected first in response to a request for the biometric feature of the user.

Abstract: Systems and methods for transaction management include receiving, from a user device associated with a user, a transaction request and receiving, through a network in a token form, user information associated with the user while the user is accessing transaction information from the user device. The user information comprises data associated with an action by user or a biometric of the user captured by the user device. Based on data associated with the transaction request, a delay in processing the transaction request due to a transaction rule is determined, and then based on the user information, a user interaction indicator associated with the transaction is determined. A transaction management action associated with the transaction is performed based on the user interaction indicator.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method for enhancing fraud detection based on transactions at potentially compromised locations is provided. The method includes determining a list of potentially compromised transaction locations, storing the list of potentially compromised transaction locations, and receiving from a first transaction location a first authorization request message for a first transaction. The first authorization request message is associated with a first payment account.

The facility reports the obtained valuation for the distinguished home.

Abstract: A delivery management system includes a client user terminal, a lock/unlock device, a delivery user terminal, and a processor. The client user terminal is used by a client user who submits a request to deliver the package to a predetermined compartment of a vehicle. The processor makes an electronic payment for a fee when a request to pay for the fee associated with a package has been made from the client user terminal. The processor issues authentication information to a delivery user terminal when the processor has made the electronic payment in a case where there is specification that the client user pays for the fee at the time of delivery of the package. The delivery user terminal makes a request of a lock/unlock device to lock or unlock the predetermined compartment with the authentication information. The lock/unlock device locks or unlocks the predetermined compartment.

Abstract: A driving accident simulation, having a virtual- or augmented-reality user interface, may be used to inform a driver of the driver's potential liability under different insurance options. The simulation may determine damages caused by the simulated accident, and identify multiple insurance options and the resulting user liability under each option. The simulation may also be used to assess an insurance adjuster's ability to estimate damages from an accident, by receiving the adjuster's estimate and comparing it to the simulation's own estimate of damages. In some embodiments, the simulation may present a driver with a simulated view from a point of view of another party to the simulated accident.

Abstract: An electronic payment and authentication system that includes features to verify the authenticity of a payer, validate debit data, and facilitate debit (as opposed to credit) payment transactions. The invention provides merchants with the ability to verify the identity of the consumer, determine if the consumer is a good debit transaction risk, and retrieve debit data associated with a particular consumer.
