Abstract: A mobile communication terminal having a camera module and a touch screen is provided. The mobile communication terminal transmits and receives text data while performing the video call with at least one other party's terminal. The touch screen displays at least one images when the text data transmission and reception function is started, an input window for displaying text data input through the touch screen, an output window for displaying the transmitted and received text data, and at least one soft key, and a controller for controlling, when the input window or one of the at least one soft key is selected, the touch screen for changing a display method of at least one of the first image, the second image, the input window, the output window, and the at least one soft key and for displaying a touch pad comprising a plurality of keys for inputting text data.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems, computer-implemented methods, and computer-readable media for browsing based on user recognition. The method includes receiving input from a user, verifying a user identity based on the input, identifying a browsing device of the user, retrieving a user profile associated with the user and the identified browsing device, the profile storing browser settings, and launching a browser on the identified browsing device with browser settings from the retrieved user profile. The input can be speech. The user identity can be verified by network-based speaker recognition. The method can further automatically update the user profile based on user actions. In one aspect, the method further identifies a preferred browser in the user profile, provisions a version of the preferred browser adapted to the identified browsing device, and launches the provisioned preferred browser on the identified browsing device with settings from the retrieved user profile.

Abstract: A graphical user interface is provided that has two distinct sections. A first area has an array of menu items. When a menu item is hovered over by a pointer, an icon such as a contextually-related animated icon is displayed on a second area and changes its appearance in such a way as to indicate to the user the location of the pointer and/or the consequence of selecting that menu item.

Abstract: Systems and methods for interfacing with a window having a hidden border are provided. In some aspects, a method includes providing for presentation of a first window within a display, while providing for hiding a border of the first window. The method also includes receiving an indication of a first user input for interfacing with an edge of the first window. The method also includes providing for making visible the border of the first window in response to the indication of the first user input.

Abstract: An image editing method comprises: a step of acquiring identification information on each of a plurality of operation instruction units for instructing editing of an image, a step of automatically selecting one or more images for editing from a group of images to classify the one or more images into a group of usable images based on the identification information, a step of determining a right to edit reaching contents of processing which each operation instruction unit is authorized to perform against each image in the group of usable images, and a step of performing editing processing on an image to be edited in the group of usable images based upon the determined right to edit according to an editing instruction supplied from each operation instruction unit.

Abstract: Devices and methods for controlling displays in a multi-display environment are disclosed. An exemplary method may comprise the following steps. Initially, an exemplary method may continuously track and record currently active display surfaces. Next, the exemplary method may identify the display surface that is determined to have been active immediately prior to the newly invoked display. After updating the specification file for the newly invoked display to include the identity of the display surface just identified, the exemplary method may be completed by displaying the newly invoked display on the same display surface as previously identified. In the event that the newly invoked display is a critical display, both the newly invoked display and the display determined to have been active immediately prior to the invoked display may be assigned an always-on-top status.

Abstract: A multi-context service is described. In embodiments, a first input on a touch-screen of a portable device is detected as a selection of an object icon displayed on the touch-screen. A second input on the touch-screen is detected as a selection of an application icon displayed on the touch-screen. The object icon is associated with a content object, and the application icon is associated with a command provider that performs one or more actions on the content object. The content object is associated with the command provider to initiate the command provider to perform at least one of the actions on the content object based on the content object being associated with the command provider.

Abstract: A graphical user interface facilitates methods for analyzing a temperature distribution across a scene that is captured by a thermal imaging device. Preferably, the interface includes a both a two-dimensional image of the captured scene and a three-dimensional representation of the captured scene. The three-dimensional representation is formed by a plurality of pixels, each of which are coded by a qualitative value from within a range of qualitative values, and each value, within the range, corresponds to a temperature. Each of the plurality of pixels is arranged, in a first and a second dimension of the three dimensions, according to a position of a corresponding pixel of the two-dimensional image, and, in a third dimension, according to a magnitude of the temperature associated therewith.

Abstract: In an apparatus having a display for supplying parameters to a mixing system, a first display control section controls the display to present a scene list containing identifications of each scene and configuration data of the mixing system specified by first specification data contained in each scene. A second display control section controls the display to present operation data of the mixing system specified by second specification data contained in the selected scene, such that the display presents each portion of the operation data. Abstract: Selections from a long list of elements on a Graphical User Interface (GUI) are presented. When a context window is presented for the selections, different cues are provided in the context window to provide feedback regarding the selections that are not in the current view, and to also facilitate rapid navigation to those selections on the GUI. Interaction with the GUI widgets within the context window, and interaction with the context window itself, facilitates the navigation toward the other selections that are not in the current view. Interaction with the GUI widgets also facilitates the preview of the selections that are not in the current view, thus making it easier to determine what has been selected without having to navigate to the view that contains those selections.

Abstract: A device for managing image and audio files displays thumbnails, which are representative of the files, on a screen in different arrangements, depending on the selected layout and order. When the user enters input to indicates that he or she wishes to browse through the thumbnails, the thumbnails move across the screen in sequence, following a path through a focus outline in the center of the screen. The path followed by the thumbnails depends on the selected layout.
