    Abstract: Provided is a channel detection notification method when a LTE system works at an unauthorized frequency band, a system and a base station. The channel detection notification method includes the follows. A primary cell base station receives RRM measuring results of multiple base stations at the unauthorized frequency band reported by a terminal; according to the RRM measuring results of the multiple base stations, a secondary cell base station is selected for the terminal; if it is determined that downlink traffic reaches a set first traffic threshold value, the secondary cell base station is informed to conduct downlink channel detection at the unauthorized frequency band; and if it is determined that uplink traffic reaches a set second traffic threshold value, the secondary cell base station and/or the terminal is informed to conduct uplink channel detection at the unauthorized frequency band.

For example, the packet broker may guide a data packet through a predetermined sequence of network tools by translating an internal identifier added to the data packet to an external identifier before transmission to each of the network tools, and translating the external identifier to a different internal identifier each time the data packet is received from each of the network tools.

An indication can be sent from a device on a sidelink channel. The indication can indicate the location of symbols used for an UL transmission when the UL transmission occupies a number of symbols less than the threshold value. Both a sidelink transmission and the UL transmission can be transmitted in the TTI when the UL transmission occupies the number of symbols less than the threshold value. Only the UL transmission can be transmitted in the TTI when the UL signal occupies a number of symbols that are at least the threshold value.

Connectivity circuitry of the UE separate from the cellular modem is configured to communicate a second portion of the data traffic with the PDN gateway via a second UE, wherein the second portion of the data traffic is different than the first portion of the data traffic.

The NFV orchestrator uses the NFV NNI to transfer its forwarding graphs over the NFV SDN switching system across the network boundary to another NFV orchestrator. The SDN controller uses the SDN NNI to transfer its forwarding instructions over the NFV SDN switching system across the network boundary to another SDN controller. The NFV SDN switching system uses the service NNI to transfer user data across the network boundary to another NFV SDN switching system.

    Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide a method for cross-channel scheduling of high efficiency (HE) multi-user (MU) frame transmission. In some embodiments, channel information and client station information may be obtained for data transmission. An MU frame containing a data field of a first type and two data fields of a second type may be configured to carry scheduling information relating to one or more channels for the data transmission. It may be determined that a current scheduling setting of the two data fields of the second type leads to unbalanced payload between the one or more channels. The two data fields of the second type may then be adjusted for a balanced channel mapping, and the data field of the first type may be adjusted to reflect the balanced channel mapping. Data based on the adjusted data field of the first type and the adjusted two data fields of the second type may be transmitted via the one or more channels.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided contention based uplink data transmission. In one novel aspect, the contention-based uplink data channel is used to transmit the data directly to the network. In one embodiment, the UE selects an UL data channel from a set of preconfigured uplink contention based data channels and sends the UL data transmission on the selected UL data channel. In one embodiment, the contention based UL data has a narrow bandwidth with a long CP such that the TA is not needed from the base station. In another embodiment, a small signaling payload is included in the CB UL data transmission if the size of the data contents cannot be fit in the UL data channel. In one embodiment, the signaling payload is the BSR. The UE, subsequently, receives an UL grant and sends the remaining data contents using the allocated data channel in the UL grant.
