Abstract: Various embodiments of the present invention generally relate to systems and methods for identifying suspicious orders for controlled substances based on performing checks on a received order using historical information on previous orders. According to various embodiments, these checks may include: (1) comparing the order quantity for the received order with the order quantity history for the customer who placed the order for the controlled substance; (2) comparing the order quantity and the days since the last order was shipped to the customer for the same controlled substance with the order quantity history and the days between orders for the particular customer and controlled substance; (3) comparing the order quantity with order quantity history for orders received by customers of the same type for the controlled substance; and (4) comparing the order quantity with order quantity history for any customer for the particular controlled substance.

Abstract: The subject disclosure provides a communications architecture for managing/relaying utility information, such as energy, water or gas information. In one aspect, the system includes a hub having a first communications interface for receiving consumption data of a predetermined energy load and a second communications interface for communicating with a metering device. The second communications interface is configured to transmit the consumption data to the metering device and to receive control signals from the metering device where the consumption data is communicated using a first protocol and wherein the control signals are communicated using a second protocol.

Abstract: According to various embodiments, system, methods and computer program products are configured for providing at least one customized communication to a recipient of one or more packages shipped by a consignor via a common carrier. One or more computer processors are configured to: receive at least a portion of customized content; retrieve at least a portion of consignee data, the portion comprising one or more parameters established by the recipient; compare the one or more components of the customized content with the one or more parameters established by the recipient so as to identify one or more correlations there-between; in response to identifying at least one correlation, generate at least one customized communication for provision to the recipient, the at least one customized communication containing at least a portion of the customized content; and in response to identifying no correlations, generate at least one standard communication containing no customized content.

Abstract: Improved process control systems determine whether a set of sequential steps that are included in a desired checklist have been performed by a user. The user provides, through a wearable device, individual verifications for the completions of the individual steps. The system generates an alarm if the steps of the checklist have not been performed. The user may perform corrective steps to remedy the issue, or else a second alarm is generated.

According to one embodiment, a social media assessment tool includes an identification logic that identifies interactivity criteria of a social media property. The interactivity criteria are associated with access to the social media property. The social media assessment tool also includes an assessment logic that determines that interactivity criteria satisfy a threshold value. In response to the social media property satisfying the threshold, the assessment logic calculates a score for at least one feature of the social media property.

Abstract: A computer system for finding, evaluating and interacting with cosmetic services includes a user computing device for specifying a search query for a cosmetic service and for determining a current location of the user computing device. The system includes a server to search for all cosmetic service providers within an area, to filter the cosmetic service providers based on reviews and visits from contacts of the user, wherein the visits are determined by an artificial intelligence module that compares photographs posted by the contact on social media to infer that the contact has used one of the cosmetic service providers by correlating the times of the posted photographs with a location history. The user computing device displays the filtered cosmetic service providers and enables the user to communicate with one of the cosmetic service providers or with the contact who has used one of the cosmetic service providers.

Abstract: An automatic driving method and device able to diagnose decisions is disclosed herein, wherein a vehicle body signal sensor detects vehicle body information, and an environment sensor detects traffic environment information. The information is transmitted to a central processor to generate a future driving track. The central processor examines whether the differences between the future driving track and the traffic environment information and the indexes of the future driving track meet tolerances. If no, the central processor transmits notification information to an automatic driving controller. If yes, the central processor transmits the future driving track to the automatic driving controller to make the automatic driving controller undertake automatic driving according to the future driving track. The present invention can automatically judge whether the future driving track generated by the central processor is within tolerances and determine whether the automatic driving track is safe.

Abstract: Provided are methods and apparatus that determine a benchmark of energy consumption for an energy system and utilize the determined benchmark in a variety of ways. Once determined, the determined benchmark may be compared to current energy consumption and current outdoor temperature to verify proper operation of the system and identify deviations in system operation. The benchmark may be used to determine the impact of an implemented change in the operation of the system. The determined benchmark may also be used to contract for a term in an agreement and to verify the satisfaction of a term in an agreement.
