Each ornamental element comprises a hollow body having a pair of longitudinally opposite first faces, namely a right-hand face and a left-hand face, respectively, and a pair of radially opposite second faces, namely an inner face and an outer face, respectively. The right-hand face of each ornamental element has a through opening communicating with an inner cavity of the ornamental element.
Abstract: Closure devices for simply and securely fastening items of jewelry, such as hoop earrings and bracelets, to a body of a wearer are described. The closure device includes a post element and a latch. The post element is movably connected to a hinge, wherein the hinge is attached to a first end of an item of jewelry. The latch includes a first and second side wires, which are joined at a closed end to form a loop. The latch is attached to a second end of the item of jewelry. A width of the loop is less than a width of the post element. The closure device secures the item of jewelry to a person by removably but securely connecting between the first and second ends of the item of jewelry by fastening the post element between the first side wire and second side wire of the loop.
Abstract: A jewelry ornament for being adjustably affixed to a jewelry chain has an ornament body that can be affixed to the jewelry chain, with a jewelry decoration, preferably a precious stone setting, formed at the front side of the jewelry body. A number of openings formed at the rear side of the ornament body allow a free end of the jewelry chain to be threaded through the ornament body, in a manner that guides one strand of the jewelry chain to extend along the left side of the ornament and a second, spaced strand of the jewelry strand to extend along the right side of the ornament. A holding mechanism includes a pressing plate configured to press on the first and second strands of the jewelry chain to immovably affix the jewelry ornament to the jewelry chain at a desired location along said first and second strands of said jewelry chain.

Abstract: An adjustable finger ring consisting of a ring with an opening including connection holes with a connection piece. The connection piece includes fasteners on the outer side of the ring to regulate the size of the ring. The finger ring can adjust the size of its opening depending on the diameter of the finger to provide the finger with a proper ring size. After adjusting the ring, the fasteners are used to fix the size of the ring. The design is easy to operate and practical to use.
Abstract: A method for rendering a gemstone traceable, includes the steps: providing an invisible marker, wherein the marker is unambiguously identifiable, fastening the marker in a placement location of the gemstone, and acquiring marking information that includes that this unambiguously identifiable marker is fastened to this gemstone. The marker can be transported to the placement location in a manner in which it is suspended in a carrier fluid. Abstract: A flexible strap connector is disclosed. The connector comprises a strap having a buckle head at one end and a tongue at the opposite end. Ratchet teeth extend on one side of the strap and the ratchet teeth cooperate with the buckle head to permit movement of the strap in a first direction and to prevent movement of the strap in a second direction. A second slot is formed in the strap itself and it is a non-locking slot. When the strap is in the second slot, the strap is free to move further into the slot and free to be withdrawn from the slot. Embodiments where the buckle head and ratchet teeth are replaced with hook and loop fasteners are also disclosed.

Abstract: A jewelry clasp is disclosed and includes a first part including a first magnet, a first groove and a first catch and a second part including a second magnet, a second groove and a second catch. The first and second magnets generate an attractive force holding the first part to the second part, the first catch is received in the second groove and the second catch is received in the first groove. A relief disposed on at least one of the first part and the second part at an interface between the first part and the second part is provided to aid in releasing the first part from the second part.

Abstract: A clip capable of magnetic attachment to a paintbrush or to a steel paint roller mesh tray. It has a hook arm extending from the body of the clip that enables a hanging attachment to a plethora of different sized paint cans and at different vertical angles. The clip may be used with continued attachment to the paintbrush where the paintbrush is hung on the paint can when necessary by the hook arm. It may also be used with continued attachment to a steel paint roller mesh tray and the paintbrush is magnetically affixed on the tray when necessary. A ferromagnetic backing cup may be used to direct the bulk of the magnetic flux to either side of the clip body.
Abstract: An interchangeable jewelry system or kit can include a jewelry base, one or more charms, and one or more keys. A manufacturer can configure the jewelry base so that a user can wear the jewelry system as a ring, necklace, bracelet, or any other type of jewelry. The jewelry base can include a recessed surround and a post recess. A manufacturer can size the charm to fit within the recessed surround and be configured in a variety of ways to lock into the recessed surround. A manufacturer can configure a key in a variety of ways so that a user can unlock the dot fitting from the recessed surround with the key. Once unlocked, the owner can remove the charm from the recessed surround of the jewelry base and can select an alternative dot fitting with a different design to lock into the recessed surround.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a low profile expandable ring structure comprising a plurality of coupled blocks that each have a certain degree of translational movement with respect to each other. Each block has one or more downward curved loops or tubes protruding on the front side of the block which are inserted into openings on an adjacent block. A tensioned spring, passed through an internal channel of the coupled blocks, maintains the ring structure in a closed appearance but allows for expansion of the expandable ring structure through the translational movement of the blocks. The low-profile nature allows the expandable ring structure to be comfortable for the wearer.

The jewelry apparatus can include a coupling member operably configured for attachment to the base member. The coupling member can include a disk member having a first side and a second side, the first side having a first set of indicia depicting a first partial portion of a word, the second side having a second set of indicia depicting a second partial portion of the word, a first projection extending from the disk member operably configured for attachment to the first prong and a second projection extending from the disk member operably configured for attachment to the second prong. The coupling member is configured to rotate such that the first set of indicia and the second set of indicia create the visual appearance of the word.
Abstract: The invention relates to a novel incendiary device with a fire starter and a quick release slide buckle wherein sparking and ignition means reside in the buckle apparatus, and which buckle may be attached to clothing, backpacks or any other item a quick release slide buckle may be utilized. One portion of the buckle houses a sparking and combustible material, and the other is a mating side of a quick release buckle. Adding a fire starter to a quick release buckle is a novel tool for any outdoor activity that requires fire ignition.
