Abstract: Described are novel armature kits, constructions and elements, providing increased flexibility in design and ease of use. In one aspect, inventive armatures include adaptations to isolate the tensioning of ball-and-socket joints occurring at either end of a motion segment. In other aspects, inventive armatures and kits include uniquely shaped plates, providing interchangeability among chest and hip areas of a human form. Novel threaded and tie-down armature elements are also described.

Abstract: An arrangement of envelope packages, the arrangement including a plurality of discreet envelope packages, each package including a plurality of generally aligned envelopes which are compressed together. The plurality of envelope packages are arranged in a first row and a second row located above the first row in a vertical direction thereof. At least one envelope package of the first row is oriented generally perpendicular to at least one envelope package of the second row.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for delivery of medication is provided. The invention includes a system for organizing and storing pre-determined dosages of medication by matching indicia on both the storage apparatus and the apparatus containing the medication. The invention allows visually-impaired, elderly, or those unable to read conventional indicia to determine the appropriate dosage of medication and to safely select and take the medication in the appropriate pre-determined dosage indicated by the indicia on the storage apparatus matching the indicia on the apparatus containing the medication.

Abstract: An improved compartmentalized beverage container device is disclosed including a cup member having an open chamber with a handle attached thereto, a lid cover formed having a dome-like surface and a rim adapted to engage the top of the open chamber of the cup member together with a lid insert adapted to engage the rim of the lid cover beneath the dome-like surface to provide a first storage compartment above the cup member, and a base chamber integrally formed beneath the cup member with an access opening in the bottom thereof to provide a second storage compartment below the cup member. Abstract: A packed intraluminal probe comprises a tube provided with a hydrophilic coating and having a proximal holding end connected to a nozzle. The nozzle has a canal communicating with the tube and an orifice. The probe is entirely arranged in a flexible, transparent and hermetic package. The probe comprises a removable stopper which closes the orifice. The package is fixed to the nozzle in a hermetic manner such that the nozzle defines two hermetic chambers which communicate only by means of the lumen of the tube and the canal in the nozzle. A first chamber contains a wetting fluid for the coating of the tube, but a second chamber does not contain any wetting fluid.

Abstract: Described is a caddy that allows an individual to access equipment, tools and supplies. The caddy includes a front panel portion having a series of elongated slots adapted in one version to receive and maintain elongate fluorescent lights. The caddy is attachable to a ladder so that users do not have to continuously climb up and down the ladder.

Abstract: A biodegradable tube comprises a mom-rigid paper tubular body defining a lumen for containing a semi-solid composition; a paper tubular cap that slidably mates with the body; and wherein interior surfaces of the each of the body and the cap have a coating that is substantially impermeable to the semi-solid composition. In preferred embodiments the tube body and cap have tapered sealed ends, the coating comprises an adhesive, and the walls of the tube/cap comprise a rolled paper material upon which the coating has been applied. Contemplated semi-solid product materials include for example lip balm, facial cream, lotion, deodorant, sunscreen, caulk, grease sticks, mosquito repellant, and shoe polish.

A key shaft extends into the chamber and includes a portion lying outside the chamber or mating with a lock. The portion of the key shaft within the chamber serves as a support for a holder of a medicament. The medicament holder becomes accessible when a force is applied to the key shaft causing the same to egress from the chamber through the weakened zone of the wall portion.

Abstract: A jewelry display for ease and convenience having a front frame hingedly connected to a rear compartment. The front frame includes a mirror and screen which can be opened for retrieval or storage of jewelry or other small objects on a series of shelves, slots and posts mounted in the rear compartment. A pair of magnets maintains the front frame in a closed posture with the rear compartment. Hooks are also available for jewelry suspension on the front of the frame beneath the screened mirror. When the jewelry display is closed, the mirror in the front frame allows the user to observe the jewelry worn and the screen permits a convenient attachment of jewelry during dressing.

Abstract: The invention consists of a prong protector for use with a nasal cannula, the nasal cannula having a body portion, a pair of nasal prongs extending from the body portion, and first and second supply tubes extending from opposite ends of the body portion. The prong protector includes a housing having an interior surface, for receiving the body portion of the nasal cannula thereon, and first and second sidewalls extending from said interior surface and a cover operatively attached to said housing for defining an open configuration and a closed configuration. The first and second sidewalls have an indented portion along a top edge for receiving the first and second supply tubes therein, such that, in use, the first and second supply tubes extend outside of said housing. The prong protector further includes restraining means for substantially preventing movement of the body portion within said housing.
