Abstract: An image forming system, image forming apparatus and tray for the same are provided. The tray supports sheets and may include a coupling including first and second connectable members, a cam and clutch. The coupling allows the driving force to be transmitted when the second connectable member is in a connected position and block the driving force to be transmitted when the second connectable member is in a disconnected position. The cam is rotatable by the driving force to be in a transmitting or a blocking state. The clutch allows the cam to rotate when activated and prevents the cam from rotating when deactivated. A controller can activate the clutch to transmit or block the driving force to the load and deactivate the clutch when the cam is placed in the transmitting or blocking states.

Abstract: A copying apparatus capable of calibrating a copy position comprises a scanning module scanning an original to obtain an original image; and a processing module being electrically connected to the scanning module and recognizing whether the original image contains an original mark corresponding to a template mark. If the original image contains the original mark, then the processing module generates print data for being printed out according to the original image and a position parameter of the template mark. A copying method capable of calibrating the copy position is also provided. Thus, the copy position can be calibrated according to the mark of the original to prevent the copy result from having a positional offset. Consequently, no positional offset occurs even if the original is copied multiple times based on the previous generation of original.
Abstract: A control device includes a storage and a controller and controls a system having an image forming apparatus to form an image onto a sheet based on an image forming job, and a sheet stacking apparatus having a stacking tray. The storage stores stacking state information indicating a state of sheets stacked and/or to be stacked on the stacking tray. The controller controls to generate a system configuration image that visualizes a configuration of the system, to generate a sheet bundle image that visualizes a sheet bundle stacked on the tray, and to display a screen in which the sheet bundle image is combined at a position of the stacking tray in the system configuration image. The controller controls to display the sheet bundle image such that sheets of a processed job, sheets of a job being processed, and sheets of a processing waiting job are distinguished from each other.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, an image processing apparatus includes an input unit and a control unit. The input unit accepts a reference point of scaling for enlarging or reducing image data. The control unit performs inversion for inverting the image data according to the reference point in either or both of a main scanning direction and a sub scanning direction. The control unit performs scaling on the inverted image data generated by performing the inversion to generate scaled image data. The control unit performs inversion on the scaled image data again to generate non-inverted scaled image data.
