  • Patent number: 9709296
Abstract: An insulated ductwork system particularly adapted for exterior use joins together pre-assembled air circulation duct sections that each have a ductwork passageway that is formed solely with insulation panels of foam insulation material disposed between foil sheets that are in turn covered by additional insulation material and an outer protective jacket to seal the ductwork from weather effects. The air circulation duct sections are used without traditional metal ductwork forming any part of the air circulation duct. Receiving flanges extend from the ends of each air circulation duct section and the duct sections are joined together in abutting relation with at least one slidably engageable sleeve that engages the flanges. A filler insulation is disposed over the sleeve. A closure band is disposed over the filler insulation and joined to exterior surfaces of the air circulation duct sections.

  • Patent number: 9689771
Abstract: A pipe section, such as a pipe elbow, coated with a ceramic coating containing a fusible link displaced within. The link includes two exposed testing leads which are connected to a sensor which sends a signal across the link. Over time, the pipe section and the coating are worn away by material flowing through the pipe. Eventually the fusible link is severed due to the wear, signaling the sensor to send an alert, notifying that the pipe section needs to be replaced. The method of manufacture includes coating a standard pipe section with a ceramic coating, displacing a fusible link therein, and curing the coating. The coating may contain any number of fusible links in any conceivable arrangement.

  • Patent number: 9677695
Abstract: The present invention relates to a hose for collecting rain water or draining water, and a telescopic hose is described. The pipe wall of the telescopic hose is formed by a plurality of wrinkling parts coiled in a stretching direction of the telescopic hose. The telescopic hose has the advantages as follows: the problem that the hose is difficult to be kept in a folded or extended state is solved; the telescopic hose not only can be extended or contracted relatively conveniently, but also can keep the shape in either folded or extended state, so that the underground wiring design can be facilitated. Meanwhile, the telescopic hose is not influenced by the aging of a material, and has a relatively good application value.
