  • Patent number: 7306486
Abstract: A connector has a housing (12) and a frame (15). The housing (12) has a wall (58) and a lock (19) that is resiliently deformable outward in the thickness direction of the wall (58). The lock (19) engages an interlocking portion (18) in the frame (15) when the housing (12) and the frame (15) are connected properly. A bracket (16) is inserted into a deformation area (62) for the lock (19) to prevent deformation of the lock (19). Thus, the lock (19) remains engaged with the interlocking portion (18) even if a force acts in a direction to separate the housing (12) and the frame (15).

  • Patent number: 7294005
Abstract: A modular furniture power distribution system has a plurality of multiconductor electrical cables (42, 44, 46, 48, 62), each having an electrical connector (98, 100, 102) at a first and second ends. There are at least two upstanding partition panels (58), each having an elongated generally horizontally extending channel or raceway (60) for receiving a corresponding electrical cable, and a stanchion or leg (68, 70, 72, 74) for supporting juxtaposed partition panel ends. The support stanchion forms an obstacle precluding direct communication between adjacent partition channels because it provides inadequate clearance to accommodate an electrical coupling between the electrical connector in one channel and the corresponding electrical connector in the other panel.

  • Patent number: 7285001
Abstract: A tension-exerted hoop for plastic and rubber articles comprises a tension-exerted (lock) hoop made up of a plurality of flexible wires wound into a hoop-shaped configuration wherein the flexible wires are respectively twined and bundled up via multiple thin filaments into identical-diameter wires each having a combining coarse surface defined by protruded and recessed sections at the outer periphery thereon. Therefore, when the tension-exerted hoop are housed inside plastic or rubber material of an air-filled container, the plastic or rubber material can penetrate into fissures formed among the thin filaments and securely bind with the coarse surfaces to create double layers of penetrative binding engagement thereby, increasing the binding area between the plastic or rubber material and the tension-exerted (lock) hoop so as to prevent the tension-exerted (lock) hoop from collapse and detachment during the repeated inflation and deflation operation of the air-filled plastic or rubber container thereof.
