Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a PUSCH transmission method and apparatus. The method includes: sending, in a first subframe, downlink control signaling that instructs user equipment UE to transmit a physical uplink shared channel PUSCH, where the downlink control signaling carries downlink control information, and the downlink control information is used to indicate a subframe for transmitting the PUSCH, where the subframe for transmitting the PUSCH is any one of or any combination of N subframes, the N subframes include a special subframe, and N is an integer not less than 1; and receiving the PUSCH in the subframe indicated by the downlink control information. It can be seen that, in the embodiments of the present invention, a subframe in which a PUSCH is transmitted and that is indicated by downlink control information includes a special subframe; therefore, the special subframe can be scheduled to transmit the PUSCH.

Abstract: Disclosed is a 5G or pre-5G communication system to be provided for supporting a data transmission rate higher than that of a 4G communication system such as LTE. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a method by which a base station of a wireless communication system using a two-dimensional X-Pol antenna requests feedback information, can comprise the steps of: generating control information for commanding the generation of the feedback information and channel state information (CSI) process information on vertical axes and horizontal axes of a specific planar antenna and respective planar antennas of the two-dimensional X-Pol antenna; transmitting the generated control information to a terminal in the base station; generating and transmitting a reference signal corresponding to the CSI process; and receiving, from at least one terminal, feedback information in correspondence to the number of CSI processes.
Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and systems described herein generally relate to a reference signal generation and mapping. For example, a method comprises determining a first set of antenna ports for a demodulation reference signal (DM-RS) transmission; determining, based on the first set, a frequency index associated with four adjacent resource elements, wherein the four adjacent resource elements correspond to two adjacent symbols in a time axis and to two adjacent subcarriers in a frequency axis; generating, based on a first orthogonal cover code and a second orthogonal cover code, a DM-RS associated with the first set of antenna ports; and transmitting, via a mapping to the four adjacent resource elements, the DM-RS associated with the first set of antenna ports.
Abstract: Modulation schemes that use dual sub-carrier to reliably transmit physical layer related signaling information and/or data in high efficiency wireless local area network (HE WLAN) are proposed. The proposed schemes can be implemented with low complexity and provide better performance than existing modulation schemes used in WLAN that are based on IEEE 802.11/a/b/g/n/ac standards. The proposed schemes enhance the reliability of transmissions, especially under narrow band interferences. In accordance with a novel aspect, dual subcarrier modulation (DCM) is introduced in HE WLAN. DCM can introduce frequency diversity into OFDM systems by transmitting the same information on two subcarriers separated in frequency. A DCM indication scheme is used such that both encoding and decoding of DCM is really simple.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are described for controlling uplink (UL) transmission power. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive a configuration of UL subframe sets and maintain a plurality of transmit power control (TPC) command accumulator values that correspond to respective ones of the UL subframe sets. The WTRU may receive a TPC command in a subframe n of a downlink (DL) transmission, determine a subframe n+k of a UL transmission that the received TPC command corresponds to, determine which of the UL subframe sets the UL transmission subframe n+k belongs to, and adjust a TPC command accumulator value that corresponds to the determined UL subframe set to determine power of the UL transmission when transmitting in the UL transmission subframe, where n is an integer, and k is an integer greater than zero.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques and apparatus that may be applied for sending uplink control information (UCI) as bundled transmissions. According to aspects, a UE may determine a first bundling size for transmitting a PUSCH, determine a second bundling size for transmitting the UCI, and transmit the UCI and the PUSCH as bundled transmissions according to the first and second bundling sizes. The BS may receive the UCI and the PUSCH as bundled transmissions from the UE according to the determined first and second bundling sizes.

Abstract: A system and method for diagnosing a problem on a packet network. Network performance information associated with data packet communications over a packet network may be collected. A network performance information parameter may be monitored and a determination that the network performance information parameter crosses a threshold value may be made. In response to determining that the network performance information parameter crossed the threshold value, diagnostics may be initiated to determine a cause of the network performance information parameter crossing the threshold value.

Abstract: An embodiment of the present invention relates to a service discovery method in which a first device supporting Wi-Fi direct service (WFDS) discovers a service, the method comprising the steps in which: a first device receives a discoverable notification from a second device; and the first device determines whether or not the service which becomes known via the discoverable notification is the service which the first device seeks, wherein the discoverable notification includes information on services supported by the second device which sends the discoverable notification.
Abstract: A method for operating a network arrangement having a plurality of network systems is disclosed. Data belonging to a first class is synchronously transmitted in a specified time slot identical for all network systems. A network system, which owing to a synchronization error during the specified time slot, receives data belonging to other classes from a plurality of senders, then only sends data belonging to the first class, but now in standard messages belonging to class 2. Non-vital data belonging to the other classes is no longer transmitted in this operating state. Improved failure safety and in particular a fail-operational mode is provided by the behavior of the network systems in the event of synchronization errors. A network system which implements the method and a network arrangement having a plurality of corresponding network systems is also proposed.

Abstract: A multimedia session call control method and an Application Server (AS). The multimedia session call control method includes these steps: a multi-UE party performs a multimedia session with a peer under control of an AS; a master UE of the multi-UE party establishes a session with a third party under control of the AS; and the AS binds a call leg between a slave UE of the multi-UE party and the AS to the session established with the third party.
Abstract: The present invention maintains calls during transfers between different types of subsystems, even when there is a bearer path interruption at the user element due to the original connection from the transferring-out subsystem being dropped before the new connection in the transferring-in subsystem is established. The call signaling leg toward the remote endpoint of the remote party is held, while the call signaling leg toward the user element is moved from the transferring-out subsystem to the transferring-in subsystem and a new bearer path is established via the transferring-in subsystem. During transfers with a bearer path interruption, a portion of the bearer path leading to the remote endpoint may be connected to a media resource function, which will provide an announcement to the remote party. Once the user element is accessible in the transferring-in subsystem, the bearer path is further transferred to the user element via the transferring-in subsystem.
Abstract: A wireless device receives at least one message comprising configuration parameters of a plurality of cells. The plurality of cells are grouped into a plurality of physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) groups comprising a primary PUCCH group and a secondary PUCCH group comprising a PUCCH secondary cell. The wireless device receives, in subframe n, a media access control (MAC) command indicating deactivation of the PUCCH secondary cell. The wireless device stops transmission of channel state information for a first secondary cell in the secondary PUCCH group in subframe n+8.
