Abstract: Provided is a system that includes a memory for storing instructions and a circuitry for executing instructions for management and delivery of OTT services over different content-streaming systems. The circuitry determines a media item in media content of a distribution network. An interactive item is overlaid over the media item in the media content of the distribution network. A personalized list is further generated based on a selection of the interactive item overlaid over the media item in the media content of the distribution network The circuitry further selects a user-selectable option in the generated personalized list with the media content on a client application engine for a defined time duration and determines a measure of an intent score of the user.

Abstract: A system for providing a set-top box standby power cutoff service is provided, and includes a timer configured to count a preset time after switching to a standby state, and a circuit breaker configured to cut off standby power when there is no input signal and the set-top box is not in operation after the elapse of the preset time counted by the timer.

Abstract: Methods and systems for time marking of media items at a platform using machine learning are provided herein. A media item to be provided to users of a platform is identified. The media item includes two or more content segments. An indication of the identified media item is provided as input to a machine learning model. The machine learning model is trained using to predict, for a given media item, content segments of the given media item depicting an event of interest to the one or more users. One or more outputs of the machine learning model are obtained. The one or more obtained outputs include event data identifying each content segment of the media item and an indication of a level of confidence that each respective content segment depicts an event of interest. In response to determining that at least one content segment is associated with a level of confidence that satisfies a level of confidence criterion, the at least one content segment is associated with a bookmark for a timeline of the media item.

Abstract: Provided is a system that includes a circuit to generate an interactive item based on a request received from a first distribution network or a second distribution network. The interactive item is overlaid over a media item present in media content. The circuit then activates the generated interactive item overlaid over the media item of the media content. Further, the circuit receives an event trigger, from a client application engine operational on a user device associated with a user, for a selection of the activated interactive item. A personalized list is generated for the event trigger for the selection of the interactive item. Further, the generated personalized list is transmitted for a display for a defined time duration, to one of the first distribution network, the second distribution network or the client application engine operational on the user device.

Abstract: A live streaming method includes that a live streaming platform plays a live video generated by a first cloud phone under control of a first client, where the first cloud phone and the first client are located in a first region. The live streaming platform switches control permission for the first cloud phone from the first client to a second client. The live streaming platform migrates a running environment of the first cloud phone to a second cloud phone online, where the second cloud phone and the second client are located in a second region. The live streaming platform plays a live video generated by the second cloud phone under control of the second client.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for providing a search result based on an ambiguous voice query. The system comprises receiving an ambiguous voice query relating to an object from a user, retrieving a viewing history of the user for about a list of media assets viewed by the user, determining, from the list of media asset, a media asset that is likely to contain the object based at least in part on metadata of the media asset and the ambiguous voice query, searching content of the determined media asset to identify a segment within the media asset that contains the object, and generating a display of information about the object identified from the segment.

Abstract: Systems and methods for enhancing virality for a content item are disclosed herein. A content item is uploaded to a content sharing platform over a communication network. Feedback on the content item is received from the content sharing platform over the communication network. Based on the feedback, a virality score for the content item is determined and a determination is made as to whether the virality score meets a virality criterion. In response to a determination that the virality score does not meet the virality criterion, a virality enhancement technique is selected from a virality enhancement database, the content item is modified by applying the virality enhancement technique to the content item, and the modified content item is uploaded to the content sharing platform over the communication network.
