  • Patent number: 11400367
Abstract: This disclosure describes, in part, an electronic device for executing network applications. For instance, the electronic device may establish a connection with a network device. The electronic device may then receive input data from a control device. Using the connection, the electronic device may send the input data to a remote system, which uses the input data to update a state of an application. The electronic device then receives, using the connection and from the remote system, audio data and video data representing the state of the application. In some instances, the electronic device may further receive, using the connection and from the remote system, first timestamp data for outputting the audio data and second timestamp data for displaying the video data. The electronic device may then send the audio data to a control device and the video data to a display device.

  • Patent number: 11393176
Abstract: A video is generated based on a user's interactions with an augmented reality (AR) client in an AR system. The AR system uses machine learning models to determine content within the images of the user's interactions (e.g., gameplay of an AR game) and the quality of the images (e.g., based on features of the images such as brightness, contrast, particular AR objects, behaviors of AR objects, etc.). A first machine learning model is applied to identify content within the images (e.g., the presence of an AR object). The AR system selects a first subset of the images to which the system applies a second machine learning model that classifies a quality score for each image. The AR system generates a video using a second subset of the image frames classified by the second machine learning model (e.g., a gameplay highlight video showing the user interacting with AR objects).

  • Patent number: 11311811
Abstract: One aspect of the disclosure relates to determining prices for a protection extension in an online game. The protection extension may be implemented, for example, after a user's beginning protection and/or any other in-game protection period has ceased. The protection extension may be dynamically priced for individual users. The protection extension may be priced, for example, based on the user's power and/or strength in a game, and/or based on other factors. For example, the stronger the user is in the game, the more expensive the extension of protection, and the weaker the user is in the game, the cheaper the extension of protection. This may provide an opportunity for a less experienced player to build up their strength in a game, thus promoting further player engagement. Individualizing the price of protection extensions may provide other enhancements.
