Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method, apparatus, and electronic device for processing of video recommendations. The present disclosure enables: at least one of second users can recommend a video to a first user, and when recommending the video, the second user can add own recommendation comment on the video, and the first user sees the comment on the video from the at least one of second users on a playback interface of a first client, and can also conduct operations such as comment, like, etc. on the comment by the second user, and can further recommend the video to a third user.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a display device for providing a function of searching for a product, a person, a place, or music appearing in a video, and an operation method therefor. The display device includes a display configured to display video, a user input interface configured to receive a search command, a controller configured to obtain video scene information at a time point when the search command is received, and a network interface configured to receive information about a product included in the video scene at a time point when the search command is received, based on the video scene information, wherein the display is configured to display a search result screen including a product icon representing the product.

Abstract: A method for identifying a peripheral device from a digital content having been received by said peripheral device from a master device located at a user end is described. The master device can be connected to a server located at a back end, and the method includes receiving, by the master device from the peripheral device, at least peripheral identification data. The method also includes generating, at the master device, a first mark as a function of at least a part of the peripheral identification data, and watermarking the digital content using the first mark before transmitting the digital content to the peripheral device.

Abstract: The present invention discloses techniques of displaying a video. The disclosed techniques comprises receiving comment text information from a user, the comment text information is associated with the video; determining that the comment text information corresponds to a predetermined type of bullet screen based on parsing the comment text information; displaying a target bullet screen being generated based on the comment text information; displaying at least one interface element each of which is selectable and corresponds to an operation associated with the target bullet screen in response to detecting a selection of the target bullet screen on a first interface for playback of the video; and controlling the video to jump to a target interface for playback of the video in response to detecting a selection of one of the at least one interface element.

Abstract: Systems and methods for determining, based on recommendations provided by users that have consumed a media asset, which consumption options may be configured on a media device such that when configured enhance the user viewing experience for a specific media asset. The method includes accessing comments posted by other users that have consumed the media asset. The comments are analyzed to determine a consumption option recommendation. If the number of comments meet a threshold value, then the system either automatically configures the media device or configures the media device upon user approval with the recommended consumption option. The recommendation to configure a consumption option on the media device is made only if the recommendation is supported by the media device. The system also detects through audio and image analysis which users are consuming the media asset and accordingly configures the consumption options to their preferences.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses for determining viewership of a content item are described herein. Machine learning techniques may be used to determine which user(s) among a user group at a multi-user location is consuming a content item. A machine learning model may be trained using demographic attributes and content attributes associated with a plurality of single-user locations. A probability engine may train a machine learning model using the demographic attributes and content attributes and one or more machine learning algorithms. The trained machine learning model may be used to determine which user(s) among at least two users is consuming a content item at a multi-user location at which multiple people reside.

Abstract: Techniques for rapidly delivering broadcasted live content are described. In an example, a transaction request to create placeholder non-fungible tokens (NFTs) in a token repository (106) is sent, where NFTs represent unique digital items. In response to the transaction request, an address allocated to a placeholder NFT from the plurality of placeholder NFTs in the token repository (106) is received. A notification indicating availability of the piece of live content is then transmitted to a user device (102), where the notification is indicative of the address allocated to the placeholder NFT in the token repository (106). In the meantime, a unique representation of the piece of live content is generated and populated on the token repository (106).

Abstract: In some embodiments, a method receives information for a delivery of instances of supplemental content for a plurality of line items. A line item is associated with an instance of supplemental content that can be delivered and a pacing curve that describes a pace of delivery over time. The method updates a parameter for the line item to generate an updated parameter based on the delivery of the instances of supplemental content and a desired pacing behavior. The updated parameter is provided to a selection system that uses the updated parameter to select an instance for delivery. The delivery of instances of supplemental content for the line item is adjusted to meet the pacing curve based on a characteristic of the pacing behavior.

Abstract: A system includes a computing platform including processing hardware and a memory storing software code, a trained machine learning (ML) model, and a content thumbnail generator. The processing hardware executes the software code to receive interaction data describing interactions by a user with content thumbnails, identify, using the interaction data, an affinity by the user for at least one content thumbnail feature, and determine, using the interaction data, a predetermined business rule, or both, content for promotion to the user. The software code further provides a prediction, using the trained ML model and based on the affinity by the user, of the desirability of each of multiple candidate thumbnails for the content to the user, generates, using the content thumbnail generator and based on the prediction, a thumbnail having features of one or more of the candidate thumbnails, and displays the thumbnail to promote the content to the user.
