Abstract: This application relates to apparatus and methods for determining, assigning, and displaying order deliveries. In some examples, a computing device may obtain order data identifying at least one order for delivery during a timeslot. The computing device may transmit, to a driver's computing device, a request for deliveries for a first price during the timeslot. The computing device may receive, from the driver's computing device, a response accepting the request. The computing device may then assign the driver to the order, and determine a delivery status based on the assignment of the first driver to the first order. The delivery status may identify, for example, that the order has been assigned to the driver, an estimated delivery time, the number of items being delivered, the weight of the items, and a route taken by the driver. The computing device may also display the delivery status.

Abstract: Systems and methods for optimizing delivery vehicle resources (e.g. a plurality of vehicles) are described herein. Available time slots for the plurality of vehicles are determined and presented to a user. In response to receiving a delivery order indicating a selected time slot, the delivery order is assigned to a vehicle from the plurality of vehicles based on a time slot indicated in the delivery order and a set of delivery parameters. A delivery route is calculated for each vehicle having a delivery order based on the set of delivery parameters. An optimized delivery route is calculated for each vehicle having a delivery order based on the set of delivery parameters.

Abstract: A method for carpool services includes obtaining a pending transportation service requested by a service requester. The pending transportation service may include a first origin and a first destination. The method may also include determining a first pick-up location and a first departure time from the first pick-up location for the pending transportation service based on the first origin and the first destination. The method may also include determining a target service provider based on the pending transportation service and a shareable transportation service that has been accepted by the target service provider and has not been completed.

Abstract: The invention provides a system and method for executing payment of a fare for fare collection and validation for a journey on a vehicle in a transportation network. For each journey taken by an individual on the transportation system, a central server receives from a mobile device of the individual an identifier of the mobile device together with data indicative of a station of embarkation of the journey. The mobile device identifier and the station of embarkation are transmitted to the central server over one or more wireless networks. The central server comprises a processor configured to determine a fare for the journey based on the station of embarkation.

Abstract: Techniques for providing digital assistant devices with the capability to plan and execute complex macrotasks. In an aspect, a digital assistant device queries an online macrotask repository for task templates associated with a macrotask. The task templates may be designed and configured by Internet crowd-sourcing, with oversight from human editors. Based on a retrieved task template, a digital assistant device may automatically execute autonomous microtasks specified by the task template, and further elicit user input for executing certain microtasks requiring user oversight and/or confirmation. The online macrotask repository enables digital assistant devices to execute a broad range of complex macrotasks that would otherwise be difficult to execute in a satisfactory manner.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present systems and methods may provide techniques for assigning deliveries to drivers and for routing those deliveries that that ensure delivery and encourage drivers to submit offers. The client uses the dialogue to enter information into the system and the mediator receives inquiries and answers from the at least one booking system, the at least one service provider, and the at least one client. Abstract: A system for a dynamic weather-driven seat selection is provided. A computing device receives (i) weather data, (ii) venue data for a physical venue, and (iii) user preferences, the user preferences including preferred sun exposure information for a user. The computing device predicts cloud coverage and available shade for the physical venue, based, at least in part, on the weather data and the venue data. The computing device generates a sun exposure profile for the physical venue, based, at least in part, on the predicted cloud coverage and available shade. The computing device provides a user with a dynamic seat selection for a scheduled event at the physical venue based, at least in part, on the user preferences and the sun exposure profile.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention are directed to methods, apparatuses, computer readable media and systems for obtaining authorization for a plurality of split shipments associated with a single order. In particular, embodiments of the present invention allow a merchant to submit a separate split shipment authorization request for each of the plurality of split shipments. The split shipments authorization requests are linked to the original order using verifiable linking data. The linking data may be extracted from a previous (e.g., initial) split shipment authorization request and/or a previous (e.g., initial) split shipment authorization request. The linking data may be validated by an authorizing entity (e.g., a payment processing network computer or an issuer computer) to ensure validity of a split shipment authorization request. Abstract: Methods and systems can automate the delivery of motor vehicle fuel while reducing the need for operator involvement and driving to a gas station. A server with access to a database and in wireless communication with computers installed in a motor vehicle can collect data from the computers including vehicle fuel level and vehicle geographic location. The data can be compared to the data to a fuel level threshold and geographic boundary. The data can be transmitted wirelessly through a wireless network to the database. A mobile fuel tanker truck can be dispatched to the vehicle's location when at least one of: fuel service is requested by a user of the vehicle or the vehicle's fuel level falls beneath the fuel level threshold. Fuel service can be requested by a user via a smartphone running an application that enables the monitoring, management, selection, and ordering of fuel service.
