Abstract: A bottle includes an outer vessel formed of a transparent or clear material and an inner vessel slightly smaller than the outer vessel and received therein to create a space therebetween. A cap is secured to the outer vessel and defines apertures therein. The outer vessel defines a closed upper end having apertures aligned with the cap apertures. A valve body providing check valves operable in opposite directions is coupled to a pair of straws which in turn are directed upwardly through the respective apertures and are joined at a common pump bulb. The pump bulb is formed of a resilient elastic material and cooperates with the check valves to displace liquid from the outer vessel to the inner vessel as the bulb is repeatedly squeezed and released. A doll cooperating with the bottle receives the pump bulb in a mouth opening and provides mouth motion to squeeze and release the pump bulb.

Abstract: A toy clapper device having a main body including an elongate and planar shaped handle with first and second faces, a lower gripping end, an intermediate engaging portion, an upper portion and a central substantially circular shaped member also exhibiting first and second faces and extending integrally from the upper portion of the handle. First and second circular shaped paddles are dimensioned substantially identically to the central circular shaped portion, each of the paddles further including elongate planar shaped portions and seating portions extending from the planar shaped portions.

Abstract: A transmission mechanism for music box ornament includes a music box which houses therein a wind-up spring and a barrel as a power source, a holding frame attached to the body has a pair of spaced flanges holding a sleeve therebetween and a drive wheel attached to the spindle of the barrel having a stub slidably engages with a slot in a motion bar. The motion bar has a finger attached to a bottom end of a tappet rod which moveably runs through the sleeve. The sleeve has an axial slit on a lateral wall to enable the finger to move axially up or down. There is an ornament attached to the top end of the tappet rod. When the wind-up spring is activated and music is sound, the spindle rotates and turn the drive wheel which in turn moves the tappet rod up or down through the holding bar. The tappet rod moves in the sleeve smoothly and steadily. The ornament attached to the tappet rod also is moved up or down steadily to create amusement effect.

Abstract: A deer grunt caller capable of producing sounds only at predetermined discrete pitches. The caller includes a reed supported in a tube through which air is blown. The air causes the reed to vibrate and the caller to emit a sound of a given pitch. A plurality of push-buttons extend radially through the sidewall of the tube and are capable of engaging the reed upon finger actuation to produce a sound at a predetermined pitch, such as that corresponding to a fawn, a doe or a buck. The use of finger actuated push buttons permits sounds of a given discrete pitch to be readily reproduced and prevents sounds at unwanted pitches from being emitted by the caller.

Abstract: The doll of the invention includes an internal mechanism based on gears, cams and terminations by virtue of which a series of movements are performed to provide a) swinging of the left arm, causing a rattler attached to said arm's hand to sound; b) stopping these movements and initiating movement of the second arm, bending the arm at the elbow and closing the hand in an approaching and grabbing motion on the pacifier previously inserted in the doll's mouth, opposite movements of said second arm being performed thereafter to pull out the pacifier, it being released from the hand holding it as a result of the pacifier being attached to a tether placed around the doll's neck. This cycle is repeated every time the pacifier is placed in the doll's mouth, thus simulating real-life movements for sounding the rattler and then removing the pacifier by itself.

Abstract: A novelty soap bar is disclosed. The bar comprises an attractor module within a soap body made of substantially translucent or transparent soap, surrounding the attractor module. The attractor module comprises a water impermeable shell; an electronic, actuatable circuit within the shell adapted to cause emission of at least one of a visible and an audible signal, perceptible through the soap body; and a battery within the shell for providing energy to the circuit to cause emission of the visible signal. The module further comprises a light sensitive switch, mounted within said soap body to sense light exterior to said soap body, and interconnected with the circuit and the battery, to inhibit flow of current from the battery in the absence of light; and a motion sensitive switch interconnected with the circuit, to activate the circuit in response to sensing motion of the soap bar. The attractor module may be arranged to produce an animated sequence visible through the soap bar.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a toy construction system comprising building elements of a first type that has a pair of opposed walls that define a space between said opposed walls, wherein those sides of the walls that face towards the space are provided with protruding ribs, and building elements of a second type that have a coupling head which may, by a snap-effect with protruding ribs, be received and releasably secured in the space between the walls on a building element of the first type, wherein said system further comprises building elements of a third type with coupling studs, wherein building elements of the first type or the second type have a cavity for releasably receiving and securing coupling studs on building elements of the third type.

Abstract: A differential structure of remotely controlled toy car, including a housing, a gear set installed in the housing and a left and a right shafts the ends of which extend out of two sides of the housing for connecting with wheel shafts. Each of the left and right shafts has a front end formed with spiral teeth meshing with two upright spiral gears on two sides. Each two adjacent left and right upright spiral gears mesh with one transverse spiral gear therebetween. During turning, by means of the engagement between the upright, transverse and upright sprial gears, a good differential modulation is achieved between the left and right shafts. Also, a sufficient torque is provided to prevent the wheels from slipping.

Abstract: A doll in the likeness of The Lord Jesus clothed in a white silky robe, with a red silky sash and brown leather-like sandals. A heart shaped locket is attached to the chest of the doll at a point which approximates the location of the doll's heart. The locket includes a central portion which lies inside the doll body and flush with the chest of the doll, and a cover hingedly connected to the central portion where it is exposed. The cover of the locket is optionally padded and covered in the same material as the sash. The body of the doll is made of a soft and pliable material. Opening the locket cover reveals a picture (e.g., the intended user) and on the back of the locket cover is the inscription "Jesus Loves". Additionally, a switch is closed upon the opening of the cover and an audio mechanism located in central portion of the locket plays music such as the song "Jesus Loves Me". The doll in combination with a nightlight provides a similar effect.

Abstract: A yo-yo having unique tether engagement areas adjacent the axle. The engagement areas include an array of grooves and/or rubber pads located in the tether-facing surface of each of the yo-yo's side pieces. The grooves and/or pads extend from a point proximate the axle to a point significantly spaced from the axle. In the preferred embodiment, the grooves and/or pads are employed in conjunction with an axle having a ball bearing-supported rotatable outer race to which an end loop of the tether is secured.

Abstract: An infant mobile with compact disc/cassette player apparatus is disclosed. The invention comprises a combination compact disc player and a cassette player for playing music that is effective in soothing or stimulating an infant, and a structure for hanging mobile fixtures over the infant. The apparatus is attached to the side of an infant's crib or playpen in a conventional manner. The mobile fixtures turn in a synchronized response to the music characteristics. The parent or care giver is provided the option of playing music continuously, allowing the device to self actuate in response to motion on the part of the infant, or allowing the mobile to turn in response to sounds made by the infant. The control of the compact disc and cassette player is also available via an infrared remote control. The mobile structure is detachable to allow for the use of the music reproduction system by itself as the child grows older.

Abstract: A hand-held device permits playout and retrieval of line with reduced incidence of tangling. A spool is drivingly connected a motor selectively energizable by the user. A line is receivable on the rotating spool for uptake in windings thereabout when the motor is energized during a retrieval operation. When the motor is not energized, and sufficient force is applied to the other end of the line, the spool rotates in a direction opposite to the rotational direction during uptake against the resting rotational resistance of the motor to permit unwinding and playout of the line. The device is conveniently wand-shaped, and includes a rear portion of the device defining a user grip, and a remaining head portion disposed forward of the hand when held. The spool is disposed inside the head portion.

Abstract: A toy sword featuring a handle section and a translucent blade section. The handle section houses a light source for illuminating an interior of the blade section. A switch energizes the light source. A translucent multi-colored object, such as a segmented, multicolored disk, is disposed to substantially filter the color of the light illuminating the blade interior. The multi-colored object is mounted in a cage to preclude it from grossly deviating out of the path of the light illuminating the blade interior, but the multi-colored object is free to float within the cage such that natural parrying and thrusting motion of the toy sword in play varies the color of the light illuminating the blade section and increases the excitement of sword play.

Abstract: A stick and cup assembly for receiving and securing a balloon includes an elongated stick with a cup maintained at one end thereof. The cup is formed integrally with the stick. A collar is slidingly received upon the stick for selective locking engagement with the cup for securing a balloon thereto. The stick is preferably formed of a composition of polyester and rubber such that the stick is capable of being manually formed into any desired configuration and which retains that configuration once so formed.

Abstract: An interactive audio-visual toy that includes a base unit that receives removable audio-visual ("AV") cassette. The AV cassette includes a pair of rollers on which a picture scroll is wound. The pictorial scenes of the picture scroll are evident through a transparent viewing window. Moreover, a pre-recorded audio cassette is mounted on its bottom surface. The base unit controls the AV cassette to successively display these pictorial scenes without the use of expensive display hardware and to output audio from the pre-recorded audio cassette tape.

Abstract: A baby doll (10) capable of simulating physiological functions of a human body in response to an applied magnetic field. The doll (10) has an internal reservoir (12) that can be filled with liquid through a mouth (14) of the doll. The internal reservoir (12) has an outlet (16) which is closable by a closure member (18). The closure member (18) is movable from a closed position in which the outlet (16) is closed, to an open position in which the outlet (16) is opened, in response to an applied magnetic field. A permanent magnet (40) is fixed to the closure member (18). A receptacle in the form of a cot (22) designed to receive the doll (10) in a recumbent position, is provided with a permanent magnet (20) therein, so that when the doll (10) is placed in the cot, a magnetic field can be applied to the magnet (40) on closure member (18) by the permanent magnet (20), so that outlet (16) is opened and liquid can flow from the reservoir (12) so the doll appears to have wet itself.

Abstract: A sound-generating unit (30) is encased within the body (20) of an article (10) which is to be launched by a burst of compressed and/or pressurized fluid (15) from a fluid launching device (11). The sound-generating unit (30) has the three main elements of a piezoelectric electromechanical transducer (32), a sound-generator electronic circuit (40), and a speaker (42). The body (20) of the article to be launched has a bore to receive the burst of fluid (15). The piezoelectric element (32) is positioned within the bore in alignment for receiving the impact of the burst of fluid (15). The piezoelectric element (32), the speaker (42) and an electrical energizer (36) are connected to the sound-generator circuit (40). Upon being impinged by a burst of fluid (15) projected into the bore of the body (20), the piezoelectric element (32) minutely deforms and generates a voltage that is processed by the sound-generator circuit (40) into a desired sound-effect signal that drives the speaker (42).

Abstract: A novel elastic gel toy for play including at least one elastic gel body having at least one elastic gel rod extending from opposite sides of the elastic gel body along a selected axis of rotation, said gel body the said gel rod capable of withstanding an elongation of at least 50% during play. The body suspended on the gel rod are also suitable for undulating up, down, around, sideways, and lateral back and forth play.

Abstract: A constructional system provides a plurality of pieces that can be used to assemble an object. The object includes a connector piece having a shaft that includes opposing first and second ends, and a first deformable section including opposing first and second bars extending from the first end of the shaft. A first notch is defined by the first bar and a first shaft edge, and a second notch is defined by the second bar and a second shaft edge, with the first deformable section having a width defined by the opposing first and second bars. The object further includes a first body piece provided with an aperture having a dimension which is substantially smaller than the width of the first deformable section. The opposing first and second bars of the first deformable section of the connector piece are deformed to insert the first deformable section through the aperture to effectuate a connection of the first deformable section with the first body piece at the location of the aperture.
