Abstract: A dental flosser is disclosed. The dental flosser comprises a U-shaped portion having a first arm and a second arm spaced apart from each other, a handle portion which extends from the U-shaped portion, a floss strand having a length and a first end and a second end, and a floss strand attachment member. The first end of the floss strand is fastened to the first arm of the U-shaped portion, and the second end of the floss strand is fastened to the floss strand attachment member, and a middle portion of the floss strand is slideably mounted to the second arm of the U-shaped portion. A user can maneuver the floss strand attachment member to increase or decrease or maintain tension of the floss strand.

Abstract: A hair styling device for styling curly or wavy hair. The hair styling device includes a body and a plurality of tines extending from a proximate end of the body, wherein each of the plurality of tines have a same length as measured from a proximal end to an opposing distal end of a tine. The tines are rigid and non-flexible to facilitate the manipulation and styling of curly hair. In some embodiments, the tines are angled such that the proximal end of the tine extends from a first side of the body and the distal end of the tine is disposed on a second side of the body, wherein the first side and second side are opposite one another. In other embodiments, the tines include an arcuate configuration. The configuration of the tines allows for various manipulation of hair to provide differently styled curls or wavy features.

Abstract: Provided for are devices having a crown with an opening defining an access to a cavity of the crown for the insertion of nail polish containers or crafting scrap materials, such as waste produced in vinyl weeding. Advantageously, the devices are anchorable for directional release and attachment to a surface. The crown may be hingedly positionable with respect to a vented suction base anchorable to a surface. Further provided for are methods of use of devices in the application of nail polish or in crafting, such as in vinyl weeding.

Abstract: There is provided a hair fastener in the form of a hair claw. The hair fastener has a first claw member, a second claw member and an elongate block. Each of the first and second claws is provided with a front portion, a rear portion and a joint portion arranged in between, the rear portions of the first and second claw members acting as a pair of handles for controlling opening or closure of the hair fastener. In one embodiment, the front region of the elongate block includes a plurality of tension cables, and a clearance is provided between the tension cables and the rear region such that the tension cables and the rear region can operate independently of each other.

Abstract: A claw type or octopus type hair clip includes a first side, a second side, a hinge pin that pivotally couples the first side to the second side, and a lock that prevents the first side and the second side from undesirably pivoting to an open arrangement. Particularly, the dispenser includes a housing and an activation sensor, such as an infrared, motion, or other sensor for detecting the presence of a hand or other object within a dental floss dispensing region and for activating the dispenser. The dispenser further includes a feeding assembly disposed at least partially within the housing, and a dispensing assembly for receiving an amount of dental floss from the feeding assembly. Specifically, the feeding assembly includes a removable and/or replaceable cartridge which at least temporarily retains the dental floss. The dispensing assembly includes a spindle and a spindle activation assembly, wherein the dental floss is fed from the feed assembly to the spindle for dispensing.
