    Abstract: A jewelry wristband is characterized by a flexible section adapted to conform to the wrist of the wearer with spring clips at each end to permit positive but releasable connection of jewelry or watch tips which are adapted to be placed at opposite ends of the watch. In addition, an intermediate expander section comprising arcuate plates hinged together is interposed in the flexible section to facilitate adjustment of the length of the flexible section to conform to the size of the wrist. The spring closure at each end of the flexible sections has a closed end of arcuate configuration and broad flat, generally rectangular leaf spring portions which diverge away from the connecting ends of the flexible section within the closed end, one spring portion being biased into a closed position within the return portion of the closed end so as to securely retain the ends of a watch tip or the like in place.

    Abstract: A support frame equipped with shoulder straps is provided for support from the back of a hunter and a combined motor and winch assembly including a rotary winding member driven from the motor is supported from the frame. The motor and winch assembly projects outwardly of the side of the frame opposite from the side thereof which opposes the back of the person over whose shoulders the shoulder straps pass and the combined motor and winch assembly is supported from a base plate removably supported from the frame. The base plate includes fair lead structure for guiding the free end of an elongated flexible tension member wound on the rotary winding member and the side of the plate remote from the fair lead structure includes anchor structure spaced therealong on a line generally normal to a line extending between the winding member and the fair lead structure. The anchor means is of a construction enabling the opposite ends of a ground anchored bridle to be anchored relative thereto.

    Abstract: A clamping device adapted to be secured on the wrist of a person and conformed to retain portable calculators of various sizes thereat. In a first embodiment the clamping device comprises an angulated base plate including wrist band receiving slots along the lateral edges thereof and provided with an outwardly extending longitudinal securing lip. The base plate surface subjacent the wrist band furthermore, includes two transverse surface recesses conformed to receive at various depths of insertion, two parallel tongues extending from a locking plate similarly provided with a longitudinal retaining lip. Both the tongues and the recesses and the interiorly opposed surfaces of the locking lip each include longitudinal serrations biased to maintain the calculator in position and to provide an engaging interface. In a second embodiment a single, unitary, structure is utilized to form the base plate, such base plate including two spirally wound longitudinal edges which by spring deformation retain the calculator.

    Abstract: A rack mountable on the bumper of an automotive vehicle comprises a first frame for clamping onto the bumper of the vehicle. The first frame includes two vertical members interconnected by two horizontal members. Part of the vertical members is formed to conform to the bumper. Hook bolts and associated fasteners are provided to secure the first frame to the bumper. A separate second frame is slidably mounted on the first frame and extends upwardly therefrom. The second frame is adapted to carry a bicycle. The second frame comprises a pair of parallel U-shaped frames, having adjacent open ends with one frame overlapping the other. The U-shaped frames are connected to each other with a distance therebetween. One of the U-shaped frames has a closed end provided with more than one member extending therefrom transversly to the plane of the frame. The member has bumps formed therein for retaining a bicycle thereon.

The tab seats in a groove formed in a fixed strap to define a preferred mode of interengaging the slat and strap. With the ends of the strap fixed to luggage rack support stanchions to maintain the flexure of the strap the momentary forces, caused by a load being applied to the bed, are distributed throughout the bed.
