Abstract: A packaging system for producing a foam-in-bag cushion upon demand includes a bag of flexible plastic film and defining therein an enclosed space which is vented to the outside of the bag, a foam precursor packet positioned at a predetermined location within the enclosed space in the bag and being formed of a barrier material. The packet includes first and second compartments with a first frangible seal separating the first and second compartments which when ruptured will permit the contents of the compartments to be mixed to form a foam cushion and a second frangible seal between one of the compartments and the enclosed space in the bag. A first foam precursor component is contained in the first compartment of the packet and a second foam precursor component is contained in the second compartment of the packet.

Abstract: A tool for dispensing plastic fasteners from a fastener clip, each plastic fastener in the fastener clip having a cross bar coupled to a common runner bar by a stub. The tool comprises a gun shaped casing having a front, a rear and a top. A guide groove extends down from the top for receiving the fastener clip. A hollow slotted needle is mounted in the front of the gun shaped casing, the hollow needle having an inlet opening in communication with the guide groove and an outlet opening. The hollow needle includes an anti-back and a knife edge. An ejector slide is disposed within the gun shaped casing and movable back and forth therein. A feed slide is disposed within the gun shaped casing and movable back and forth therein. A feed cam is disposed inside the casing is rotably mounted at one place onto the casing and pivotally mounted at another place onto the feed slide. The feed cam includes a front surface having a pair of outwardly extending spaced apart pins.

Abstract: Packaging elements are formed by holders suitable for transport and storage of delicate goods such as fruit, sweets such as chocolate, flowers, glass objects, Christmas decorations, electronic components and the like. The holders are separated from each other by a standing wall. Recommended for larger objects such as apples and the like are holders with the upper part in folded-back form, particularly those wherein the rib profiling of the upper and lower parts take an integral form and thereby enclose firmly the object for transporting (FIG. 4b). Smaller objects can advantageously be transported on a mattress of upper parts of smaller holders (FIG. 5b).

Abstract: A sterilizable package is formed of a first sheet connected to a second sheet. The first sheet forms a first side of the package and a portion of the second side of the package. The second sheet is connected to the first sheet to define an interior chamber of the package. The second sheet forms a portion of the second side of the package. The second sheet has a first edge. A plurality of slots are disposed along the first edge at predetermined spaced apart locations. The first sheet is folded over along a fold line, thereby forming a folded portion. The folded portion is connected to the second sheet. The folded portion forms a portion of the second side of the package. The fold line forms a first edge of the package. The first edge of the second sheet is in the interior of the package between the first side and the folded portion of the first sheet.

Abstract: A lockable media storage box and lock and key combination includes a box having a base and a lid hingedly connected to the base and movable between opened and closed positions. A locking mechanism is movable between locked and unlocked positions to lock and unlock the container. The lock includes lock pins that slide through aligned lock holes in the base and the lid.

Abstract: There is disclosed a filter package comprising a housing and a cover that is adapted to enclose a sterile disposable filter wherein the package cover is penetrable at a point axially aligned with the filter and has at least one pre-formed break line along which the package cover, when subjected to appropriate force, ruptures so as to permit withdrawal of the filter by a syringe coupled thereto.

Abstract: A container for the convenient transport and storage of fishing lures, particularly crank baits, is disclosed. The container includes channels running parallel to one another, with curved or slanted walls so that the bottom of the channel is offset from the top. A portion of each channel is therefore beneath a portion of the neighboring channel. This small area creates a nesting space for the treble hooks of the lures, with the weight of the lure tending to immobilize the hooks against the barrier, preventing them from tangling with each other, or other lures.

Abstract: A toolbox is provided for receiving tool bits each with an annular groove. The toolbox includes a box and a holder for pivotal installment in the box. The holder includes holes defined therein and hooks each located in one of the holes. Each of the holes is for receiving one of the tool bits. Each of the hooks includes an enlarged end for insertion in the annular groove of one of the tool bits.

Abstract: Packaging device allowing two or more products that are mixed at the time of use thereof to be expended in a single package, including a package differentiated in two or more enclosures, one of them provided with an openable stopper, separated by a movable stoppering partition and each filled with one of the products to be contained separately in the package and with a gaseous fluid compatible with each of said products, the gaseous fluid being substantially subject to pressures different from normal atmospheric pressure, which pressures exert an equal force on opposite faces of the internal movable stoppering partition, maintaining a balance between both enclosures.

Abstract: A pack for concentrates of a plurality of photographic processing chemicals comprising a carton of standard height, width and depth, in which at least two chemicals bottles are disposed alongside one another, with their outlet openings situated at the same height (viewed from the carton base) and a predetermined distance apart from one another, wherein one carton side comprises features which permit a smooth mounting onto a specially provided surface of the processing unit and docking to the processing unit in one way only, allows almost automatic replenishing of the photographic processing solutions in the processing unit in combination with easiest handling.

Abstract: A protective packaging system is disclosed, comprising a protective pouch open on one side. A closure tape is attached to the pouch's open side. The pouch also has an attachment block affixed to the outer surface. The attachment block has a layer of adhesive on its non-pouch-proximate face, and an cover panel covering the adhesive. A twist tie is also located on the bottom surface of pouch. The user pre-wraps a fragile object in the pouch, peels the cover panel from the attachment block, and then places the assembly into a box or other container where it adheres to the bottom of the container.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method and apparatus for applying adhesive to packaging in a variety of configurations. The adhesive may be applied by a nozzle in a first direction, a second direction and a stationary spot, wherein the first direction and the second direction are transverse to each other.

Abstract: A wafer container has an open front defined by a frame for receiving a door. The frame has slots on opposite sides. The door utilizes two latching linkages that extend, lift, lower and retract two latching portions from the edge portion of each opposite side of the door and into and out of latch receptacles on the frame. Each latching mechanism utilizes a sliding plate with a handle connected thereto and exposed on the front of the door. The sliding plate has a pair of lifting linkages cooperating with a pair of latching linkages. Moving the handles outwardly extends the latching portions into the latching receptacles, then pulls the door inwardly to seal the door to the container portion. The sliding plate includes a rack portion engaged with a pinion accessible from the front of the door by a latch key whereby the mechanism can be operated robotically.

Abstract: A compact for loose powder is provided with a recess in which a screen is movable along the extent of the recess, and is urged to provide the larger space in which the powder is retained. The user pushes the screen, with a brush or puff, to engage the loose powder and to cause the brush or puff to carry the powder for application to a person's skin. The container for the loose powder can be provided as an insert to a screw-type or clamshell-type compact, and/or can be refillable.

Abstract: A CD storage case has two holders and two racks mounted between the holders. The racks between the holders could be folded inside the holders. When no CD cases put on the CD storage case, the racks could be folded to decrease whole volume.

Abstract: A blister card label form has a first sheet having first and second major surfaces. The first sheet is provided with removable portions and a permanent adhesive directly applied on its second major surface and a temporary adhesive directly applied on its second major surface. This permits portions of the label to be permanently attached to a blister package and also permits portions of the first sheet to be selectively removed.

Abstract: A container for welding wire comprises a box-like body having a bottom and a side wall, the side wall having a polygonal cross section with corners, and stabilizing elements arranged at at least some of the corners. The stabilizing elements extend upwardly from the bottom and have an outer shell portion comprising a corner portion facing the adjacent side wall and an inner portion facing an interior of the container for housing welding wire. The corner portion has a shape adapted to the shape of the adjacent corner. The inner portion defines a continuous inner wall.

Abstract: A glued three piece folding basket carrier which has two partitions for dividing the carrier into six cells with each partition being constructed of a different material than used to construct the outside basket carrier. Each partition is glued to a handle panel and a divider flap on the end of the basket carrier and a to a side wall to form a bottle cell with walls that are perpendicular to the divider between the two sides of the carrier and which are also formed as part of the partition.

Abstract: A razor blade holder can attach to structure at a site in order to provide blade storage and accessibility. The holder has a receptacle sized to hold at least one razor blade and to keep exposed and accessible an upper edge thereof. The receptacle has a back panel adapted to be attached to the structure.

Abstract: A tool box includes a base portion with two side walls, two sliding plates slidably disposed to the two side walls and a plurality of receiving members pivotally connected between the two side walls at two ends of a front side thereof. The receiving members further are pivotally connected to the two sliding plates at the two ends of a rear side thereof. An actuating member is pivotally connected between the two side walls at two ends of a front side thereof, and between the two sliding plates at the two ends of a rear side thereof so that when pivoting the actuating member about the two ends of the front side thereof, the two sliding plates and the rear side of each the receiving members are moved upwardly.
