The retaining ring includes an indicator configured to provide visualization of insertion of the connection portion into an injection port of an infusion fluid container.

The bolus delivery device further comprises a bladder disposed in the housing that is in fluid communication with the reservoir for receipt of the fluid from the reservoir; an actuator; an inlet conduit in fluid communication with the reservoir for providing the fluid to the reservoir; and an outlet conduit in fluid communication with the bladder for providing the fluid to a patient. The actuator is in operative communication with the reservoir to initiate a flow of the fluid from the reservoir to the bladder. The bladder expands as the bladder receives the fluid and contracts as the bladder dispenses the fluid. An infusion assembly including a bolus delivery device also is provided.

An outer surface of the obturator shaft and the tip member defines a channel for receiving and directing insufflation fluid into a body cavity, a portion of the same channel also configured to guide a surgical instrument, such as a suture passer/grasper for closing an incision, towards and through the slot. In this way, the cannula and obturator can be employed both for forming an incision at the beginning of a surgical procedure and for closing the same incision at the conclusion of the surgical procedure.

Pressure applied across a first surface or a second surface of the elastomeric membrane in a vicinity of the slit tends to keep the slit in a closed position.

A deformable elastic component is sealed within an opening formed in the neck portion and manipulated to engage the user's nipple to simulate the suckling of an infant. The deformable elastic component is configured to move into the interior volume of the neck portion under an applied positive pressure to compress the nipple and control nipple edema. The deformable elastic component is also configured to move away from the axial center of the neck portion under an applied negative pressure to create suction and extract breastmilk in a manner that closely replicates the suckling of an infant. The pump may also include another deformable elastic component to stimulate a Milk Ejection Reflex (MER).
