Abstract: The present invention relates to a connector into which a printed circuit board or card may be inserted and card guides associated with the connectors which guide and support the inserted card. More particularly, the connector consists of two housings having a common center card-receiving slot with terminals lining the walls thereof. Pins on the terminals pass through the base of the housings for insertion into a printed circuit mother board or the like. The guides have slots into which the edges of the printed circuit board slide. A flexible latch on the guides lock the boards against inadvertant movement.
Abstract: This invention provides an improved map having the advantages of a book while at the same time providing a simple index system, and pages which are folded to provide a larger format than that normally found in a book. The folded pages are arranged so they cannot be readily damaged by incorrect folding and yet the pages can be inter-related imperfectly without damage and without affecting the index arrangement.
Abstract: A multiple ply business form having at least a first ply, a second ply, and a third ply positioned intermediate the first and second plies, a plurality of said forms defining a manifold assembly. The upper and lower edge portions of the first and second plies are secured together, such as by glue, but are completely separate from the third or intermediate ply. The third ply is separate from the first and second plies so as to be readily removable from between the first and second plies. The third ply includes first and second side portions and a central portion which is completely severed or free from the first and second side portions when in the assembled condition. The central portion has upper and lower edges that are spaced inwardly and away from the securing glue for the upper and lower edge portions of the first and second plies. The side portions of the third ply and the lateral edge portions of the first and second plies are secured together, such as by glue.
Abstract: An inventory system including a display panel marked with a series of words for items to be inventoried, the panel markings having a certain characteristic appearance, such as being the same color, a plurality of checks or markers removably secured to the display member covering respective indicia or markings and having additional indicia or markings of the same connotation as the covered indicia, respectively, the additional indicia or markings having another characteristic appearance the same as each other but different from that of the first mentioned indicia.
Abstract: An electrical connector is disclosed having the capability of mass terminating a plurality of individual conductors. The connector includes a housing having a plurality of terminals positioned therein in at least one row. Each terminal has a mating end directed toward a mating front face of the housing and an insulation displacing, conductor engaging portion which lies in an exposed rear portion of the housing. A cover member associated with the housing overlies the conductor engaging portion of the terminals and receives and drives the conductor into a respective terminal and to effect engagement of the terminal and the conductor.
Abstract: A business form including first and second superimposed plies of paper (10,12) and each having an information receiving portion (14,16). Contact adhesive (30) is disposed on one of the plies and a release liner (32) covers the same. The ply (12) having the contact adhesive (30) is completely slit (26) adjacent one edge and an easily releasable glue structure (38) secures the two plies together adjacent the slit (36). The release liner (32) is removed from the form to expose the contact adhesive simply by grasping the edges (18,20) of the plies (10,12) adjacent the slit (36) and separating the same.
Abstract: A continuous form multiple ply ticket assembly wherein the plies interior of the top and bottom plies are captured in at least one control margin and are shorter in each ticket panel than the corresponding top and bottom ply ticket panels to provide a fold space, and at least one line of weakness in the top and bottom plies in the fold space extending transversely of each ticket panel generally aligned with one of the transverse edges of the assembly of interior plies.

Abstract: The invention is a hinged electrical connector for terminating conductors of flat cable, using finger pressure to close the hinged parts of the connector over the cable.
Abstract: A safety electrical plug comprising a casing formed by a pair of identical portions provided with cooperating cord insertion opening forming means, ribs and rib-support means, a spring-loaded blade covering member, a pair of plug blades supported by said rib-support means and extending through the covering member and a spring housing having a spring received therein to normally bias the blade covering member to its extended position.
Abstract: A binding arrangement according to the present invention comprises a post projecting from one side of the arrangement and an opening having a blind ended mouth surrounded by a mouth wall for releasably securing the head of the post at the other side of the arrangement. The mouth is narrower and longer than the head which is stiff for forceably opening the mouth when it is inserted or removed from the secured position. The head has an undercut base for receiving the mouth wall when the head is locked in the opening. The overall arrangement is adapted to provide outward lateral flexing and inward lateral rebounding of the mouth wall at the undercut base of the head for removably securing the head in the opening.
Abstract: A clip including a body portion for positioning on the spine of a book and a tail portion positionable on the inner spine. A head portion is provided to extend laterally of the body portion and when placed over the inner corners of adjacent pages will hold them apart. The pages can be turned over with the clip retained on the spine and be received in a cavity between the tail portion and the head portion. The clip also provides a book page marker.
Abstract: A wallet-sized checkbook particularly suited for use in conjunction with a one-write check record keeping system wherein an entry is made on a journal page simultaneously with the writing of a check. The checkbook enables records of checks written in the field to be subsequently transferred directly on to a one-write journal page. The book comprises a cover having an interior pocket and a writing surface fastened at one end to the inside of the cover. A data sheet of coated release paper overlies the writing surface and releasably carries a series of ink-receptive strips adapted to receive ink from a carbon strip extending along the reverse side of a one-write check. A check is positioned on top of a selected strip on the data sheet by a series of pins which project through pre-punched holes in a widthwise margin of the check. Indicia on the opposite margin of the release paper cooperate with the pins to assist in the check-positioning function.
Abstract: A cable terminator assembly for a coaxial cable includes a housing having a raided extension affixed thereto for transferring tensile strength from a cable to the housing and braided extension. An inner cylindrical piece is swaged to the housing for holding the braided extension in place. A dielectric clamp with a closure ring, flat locking washer and cap complete the components within the termination. The washer is keyed to the housing and, together with the housing, clamp the stranded cable conductor. The keying prevents turning of the mating components so that the stranded cable conductor will not be damaged. The clamping of the strands makes electrical contact between the strands and the assembly. The dielectric clamp is forced to bite into the dielectric material of the coaxial cable. This provides a firm mechanical hold.

Abstract: The identification device takes the form of a plastic holder worn about a patient's wrist in the manner of a wristwatch. The holder itself has a fluorescent coating on the top surface emitting light. A patient identification card is positioned on this fluorescent surface, the identification card being perforated with a patient identifying number. The emitted light from the fluorescent material thus shines up through the perforations in this number. Any particular procedure to be carried out on the patient is directed in an appropriate order blank signed by a physician or other hospital personnel. Such order blank for the patient includes the patient's identification number which number is also perforated on the order blank. By then positioning the order blank portion upon which the number is perforated over the patient's identifying number in the holder, if the numbers are the same, the light will then pass through both the perforations.
Abstract: An electrical wire connector having an insulating body and cover, a conductive contact element and a wire cut-off blade. The cap and body telescope together to force wires into the contact element and to force the wires against the cut-off blade to sever the ends of the wires and the cap and body have cooperating parts to close off the end of the body adjacent the severed wire ends.

Abstract: An identification system for individuals which provides a three point identification check at point-of-transaction to assure accuracy is disclosed. The system utilizes an individual fingerprint and an identifier which can be correlated to the fingerprint and to a listing of valid identifiers. In carrying out the system, an identification card is used which has the individual's fingerprint, a grid superimposed over the fingerprint, and an identifier printed thereon. The identifier is made-up of a series of individual designations or symbols, with each individual designation representing a selected fingerprint characteristic in respective squares of the grid. A data bank for individuals in the system contains a listing of valid identifiers for correlation and validation purposes. The identifier may be made up of alpha, numeric, or alpha numeric designations.
