Abstract: A method for managing contacts in a messaging application includes receiving a request from relating to obtaining conversations associated with a client device, in response to the request, retrieving data corresponding to the conversations and causing displaying a list of the conversations on the client device, determining, based on a least one conversation attributes, a rating value for each conversation among the conversations, identifying a particular conversation of the conversations wherein the rating value associated with the particular conversation is below a threshold rating value, and in response to identifying the particular conversation, causing updating the list that is displayed on the client device by removing the particular conversation from the list of the conversations that is displayed on the client device.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus for analyzing performance of video content are disclosed herein. In one aspect, performance data indicative of a number of presentations of a video at user devices is received. The performance data specifies a portion of the total duration of the video that was presented prior to presentation being terminated. For each of two or more segments of the total duration, a play-through rate is determined for the segment. The play through rate for each segment is based on a number of the presentations of the video that were not terminated prior to an end of the segment. A play-through graph generated based on the play through rates is provided. A determination is made that user interaction occurred with a particular area of the play-through graph. A portion of the video from a particular segment that corresponds to the particular area is provided.

Abstract: Providing a bridge interface for managing virtual workspaces is disclosed. A plurality of workspace images is presented in a user interface, each workspace image corresponding to a different virtual workspace available to a user of a computer system. A plurality of application windows associated with one of the virtual workspaces is displayed. A user's selection of at least one of the displayed application windows and dragging the selected application window in the user interface from a first location to a second location in the user interface is detected. A virtual workspace associated with the selected application window is changed based on the second location in the user interface.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided through which data parseable against a document type definition by generating a list of a possible paths of an input element that is not encoded against the document type definition, determining the path that is the best fit with the document type definition, and then generating the element in the syntax of the document type definition. Determining the path that is the best fit includes parsing the path against the document type definition. The best fit is expressed in a scoring scale, in which the best score indicates the best fit. Thereafter, the path with the best fit is translated in accordance to the document type definition or markup language.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide for persisting and retrieving search results based on a context of the search results and an application providing those results. For example, one embodiment of the present invention allows a user to access previous search result from a current page of a user interface, e.g., by clicking on an icon in the interface page. Additionally, these previous results can be made available without requiring the user to leave a current page in order to view the saved results. For example, the previous results can be indicated and accessible through an icon on the breadcrumb menu that, upon the user clicking of otherwise selecting the icon, causes the user interface to render the previous search results in a pop up dialog without leaving the current page.

Abstract: Providing a bridge interface for managing virtual workspaces is disclosed. A plurality of workspace images is presented in a user interface, each workspace image corresponding to a different virtual workspace available to a user of a computer system. A user input indicating a selection of a presented workspace image is received. The user interface is updated to display a plurality of application windows associated with the selected virtual workspace in addition to displaying the plurality of workspace images.

Aspects of the present disclosure may include receiving an input corresponding to an amendment to a portion of an in-progress chemical structure, and identifying, based at least in part upon the amended in-progress chemical structure, one or more molecular scaffolds from a set of candidate molecular scaffolds. Each molecular scaffold may be configured to, upon one or both of (i) appending to the amended portion of the in-progress chemical structure and (ii) replacing or partially replacing the amended portion of the in-progress chemical structure, provide a resulting chemical structure or chemical structure fragment that has been previously rendered. Abstract: A mobile terminal and a method for controlling the operation of the mobile terminal are provided. In the method, a stereoscopic 3D image that utilizes binocular disparity between a left-eye image and a right-eye image is displayed on a display and a stereoscopic 3D pointer is displayed in the stereoscopic 3D image when a user's hand is detected according to analysis of visual data acquired by a camera. The position of the stereoscopic 3D pointer is moved according to movement of the hand when the movement of the hand is detected according to analysis of the visual data. According to this method, the operation of the mobile terminal can be controlled by the user's hand movement or gesture.

Abstract: A touch screen keyboard is dynamically customizable to modify the active regions of one or more keys in the keyboard to adapt the keyboard to a user's unique physiology. The active regions may be modified in response to monitoring user input directed to the keys in the keyboard so that the keyboard automatically adapts to the user's physiology. In addition, while the locations and/or sizes of the active regions may be modified to adapt to a user's physiology, in some instances the shapes of the active regions may also be distorted such that the resulting active regions are irregular in nature.

Abstract: Moving object detecting, tracking, and displaying systems are provided. Systems illustratively include a graphical user interface and a processing unit. The processing unit is a functional part of the system that executes computer readable instructions to generate the graphical user interface. The graphical user interface may include an alert and tracking window that has a first dimension that corresponds to a temporal domain and a second dimension that corresponds to a spatial domain. In some embodiments, alert and tracking windows include target tracking markers. Target tracking markers optionally provide information about moving objects such as, but not limited to, information about past locations of moving objects and information about sizes of moving objects. Certain embodiments may also include other features such as zoom windows, playback controls, and graphical imagery added to a display to highlight moving objects.

Abstract: A mobile terminal includes a controller and a display configured to display a stereoscopic image comprising a first image provided to a left eye and a second image provided to a right eye. The controller searches for a plurality of objects within the first image and the second image, wherein each of the plurality of objects is correspondingly present in both the first image and in the second image to form a stereoscopic image; calculates a separation distance for each object; changes only a position of a selected object of each of the first and second images when the calculated separation distance for the selected object is equal to or greater than a threshold value to decrease the separation distance for the selected object to less than the threshold value; and causes the display to display the changed first and second images.
