Abstract: Exemplary systems and methods for providing a tailored user interface associated with a web page are disclosed. An exemplary method includes a user interface computing system identifying, from computing code representative of a web page and based on a predefined element selection heuristic, one or more select elements of the web page and generating a user interface including data representative of the one or more select elements for display on a display screen, the user interface having a presentation scheme that is different from a presentation scheme of the web page and that is tailored to facilitate interaction with the data representative of the one or more select elements by a user utilizing a set of user inputs. Corresponding systems and methods are also disclosed.

Abstract: An action item specifying one or more tasks is instantiated. Thereafter, data characterizing the action item is associated with at least one tool to perform at least one task. Each tool comprises at least one service, application or procedure to facilitate or perform the at least one task. Subsequently, the at least one tool is initiated. User-generated input and/or other data is received from the at least one tool. Performance of one or more of the tasks specified by the action item is then finalized using the at least one tool and the user-generated input and/or other data. In some variations, the action item can be provisioned with at least one contextual resource to facilitate performance of at least one task. The at least one contextual resource can be associated with the action item and/or at least one user associated with the action item.

Abstract: Visualization techniques are provided for a clustered multidimensional dataset. A data set is visualized by obtaining a clustering of a multidimensional dataset comprising a plurality of entities, wherein the entities are instances of a particular concept and wherein each entity comprises a plurality of features; and generating an icon for at least one of the entities, the icon having a plurality of regions, wherein each region corresponds to one of the features of the at least one entity, and wherein a size of each region is based on a value of the corresponding feature. Each icon can convey statistical measures. A stabilized Voronoi-based icon layout algorithm is optionally employed. Icons can be embedded in a visualization of the multidimensional dataset. A hierarchical encoding scheme can be employed to encode a data cluster into the icon, such as a hierarchy of cluster, feature type and entity.

Abstract: Described herein are systems and methods for managing video data. Embodiments are described by reference to a Digital Video Management (DVM) system, for example methods for facilitating collaborative incident management. In overview, a DVM system provides a user interface, which is renderable at a plurality of client terminal. This allows an operator of each client to independently view DVM content items. In some cases the user interface is provided by components delivered to the clients via a web-server arrangement. The user interface is configured thereby to allow an operator of a first client terminal to provide a request to share a specified DVM content item with the operator of a second client terminal. In response to this request, the content item is delivered to the operator of the second client terminal.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus for displaying log information, comprising: a receiving unit for receiving at least one content and correlation information; the correlation information including correlation that correlates each of a plurality of segments formed at a display and each of the at least one content outputted to the plurality of segments, an output unit for outputting the at least one content to the plurality of segments based on the correlation information; and a processor; wherein the processor is configured to generate the log information including segment information and content information, the log information representing content output history, the segment information identifying each of the plurality of segments, and the content information identifying each of the at least one content, extract part of the log information based on either of the segment information or the content information, and output the extracted log information.

Abstract: A device and a method for searching for an electronic book (e-book) in a portable terminal are provided. More particularly, a device and a method for searching for an e-book in a portable terminal, which can conveniently manage and search for a plurality of e-books in a portable terminal, are provided. The device includes a display unit for displaying categories of e-books that each include one or more e-books, and a controller for controlling such that an e-book is searched for by displaying and scrolling through the categories of e-books according to a detected shift of the portable terminal, a corresponding category is enlarged according to a touch to the corresponding category, and at least one of the one or more e-books included in the enlarged category is displayed.

Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for blocking access to restricted elements of application interface and covering the restricted elements by trusted interface elements. The system includes an analyzer module, a database of restricted elements and a blocking module. The analyzer module is configured to detect interface elements of an active application rendered on a computer or a mobile device. The analyzer module determines if an application interface element is restricted by comparing the application interface element against the known restricted interface elements from the database. If the restricted element is detected, the analyzer module sends the data about the restricted element to the blocking module. The blocking module covers the restricted interface element by a trusted interface element or by an image.

Abstract: A mobile terminal and an operation control method thereof are provided. The operation control method includes displaying a display screen including a first group of objects corresponding stereoscopic three-dimensional (3D) images and a second group of objects corresponding two-dimensional (2D) images on a display module; receiving a 3D indication input for distinguishing the first group of objects from the second group of objects; and displaying the first group of objects differently from the second group of objects in response to the received 3D indication input so that the first group of objects can be distinguished from the second group of objects. Since the objects corresponding to stereoscopic 3D images are displayed differently from the objects corresponding to 2D images, it is possible for a user to instantly determine whether an image corresponding to a given object is a stereoscopic 3D image or a 2D image.

Abstract: Providing a bridge interface for managing virtual workspaces is disclosed. A plurality of workspace images is presented in a user interface, each workspace image corresponding to a different virtual workspace available to a user of a computer system. A plurality of application windows associated with one of the virtual workspaces is presented. The presented application windows are visually grouped into one or more clusters, at least one cluster including a set of application windows, and at least a first of the application windows in the set of application windows visually overlaps a second application window in the set of application windows. User input indicating a movement of the application windows in the at least one cluster is received. The presentation of the at least one cluster is modified to make the second application window appear more visible to the user.

Abstract: A system for managing a plurality of child profiles is provided that allows parents of children to capture a child's life events in media files, which are automatically imported into a life album for each child. The system also generates different views for the child's life album based upon both user-generated information and computer-generated information, and allows users to identify favorite media files for review using other tree structures. The system could automatically generate a face transformation video from life album media files, and could automatically generate expert queries from common issues gleaned from community discussions that are summarized and exported to experts for review.

Abstract: A mobile terminal and controlling method thereof are disclosed. A plurality of moveable objects are displayed on a touchscreen of the mobile terminal. A background image is displayed as a background of the plurality of objects. In response to user selection of a specific object among the plurality of objects after an object edit mode is entered, the specific object is set to an independent type object, and another object of the plurality of objects is set to a dependent type object. The independent type object is displayed at a specific position on the touchscreen. In response to a touch drag in a specific direction performed with respect to the background image, the background image and the dependent type object are shifted while the independent type object remains fixedly displayed at the same specific position irrespective of the shift of the background image and the dependent type object.

Abstract: A mobile terminal and a method for converting a display mode thereof are disclosed. The mobile terminal performs a first display action for three-dimensionally displaying a part of a image in a first zone of an entire display zone and two-dimensionally displaying the other part of the image in a second zone as a gesture externally input for conversion between two-dimensional display and three-dimensional display is recognized, and performs a second display action subsequently to the first display action for three-dimensionally displaying a part of the image in a third zone of the entire display zone and two-dimensionally displaying the other part of the image in a fourth zone.

Abstract: A mobile terminal and controlling method thereof are disclosed, by which a user interface for appreciating a 3-dimensional (3D) stereoscopic image more conveniently can be provided. The present invention includes a display unit including a parallax generating means for displaying a 3D stereoscopic image on at least one portion of the display unit and a controller, when a planar (2D) image is displayed via the display unit, determining whether the 3D stereoscopic image is outputted via the display unit within a preset duration, the controller, if the 3D stereoscopic image is outputted as a result of the determination, controlling a prescribed visual effect indicating that the 3D stereoscopic image is outputted to be given to at least one region of the display unit.

Abstract: A system can mask specific components of an application, such as a web page, displayed during a screen sharing session. As the web page is being displayed on a first computer screen (i.e., screen), the system can automatically mask specific components of the web page. Thus, when the first screen is captured, and the capture is transmitted to a second screen, the specific components of the web page that have been masked will not be displayed at the second screen.

Abstract: An information processing device stores a window of an application and designation information for designating an external device associated with the window. The information processing device detects an external device located near the information processing device, and when multiple windows are displayed having an overlapping portion the information processing device identifies an external device associated with the multiple windows. Next, the information processing device determines whether there is a window associated with the detected external device, and if the window(s) exists the information processing device displays the window or any one of the windows in the foremost position.

Abstract: For each smartphone application included in a smartphone, an identifier, such as a name of the smartphone application, and information on whether the smartphone application operates in cooperation with a vehicle-mounted device, are registered in a smartphone application management table. From the smartphone applications included in the connected smartphone, higher priority is given to the smartphone applications that are registered in the smartphone application management table as applications that operate in cooperation with the vehicle-mounted device. A lower priority is given to other smartphone applications. Icons of the high priority smartphone applications are arranged on a first page of a smartphone application menu, whereas icons of the low priority smartphone applications are sequentially arranged on second and following pages.
